Who will be first to take Remmy's pred-virginity?

Anneke might rope him into casual sex eventually if things settle down but it'd probably end up more like a fling. It won't be Avo unless she figures some way for it to be an even bigger tease or to needle someone else who wanted Remmy first. Betty doesn't seem the type unless they end up getting really close for quite a while, she probably needs to build up to it. Charlie could turn up riding Remmy's dick at any moment in order to complete some weird plan or because she misinterprets how handshakes work or whatever.

So fucking tired of fanfics where Judy is a insatiable cockslut for "bunny biology, lol" reasons. It's not true to real life, it's a contrived unimaginative bullshit plot device, it's boring and overdone to hell and back, yet people still keep writing this shit again and again.

I think their relation, like Remmy's relation with basically everyone in the Pack, is a good foundation but not much else. Despite how long the story's been going just getting up to this point it feels like the real drama might only be getting started.

From here, the tension and stresses involved in the aftermath of the Bellwether arrest could pull Remmy apart or bring him closer together with anyone, and a lot of people seem to like imagining Betty looking after and protecting Remmy which is a good fit for a situation where an angry mob is hunting for him.
>>
>>9682773

I wouldn't say that she is into him but she does show some care for him, different from the care that she shows Ozzy because she would still tease Remmy and join in with the Pack when they do so.

I think Betty generally cares for everyone but when it comes to Remmy, it depends on how you interpret certain scenes. She does have a habit of getting his attention when she is sitting outside and she sees him like catcalling him or asking where he is going. She also didn't seem to mind the lewd comment that he made to her about her not shaving "down there" after she finished shearing him. In fact, that shit did get a smile out of her.
Like I said, it all depends on your interpretation

So how long will it be before we see Dora return? How long will the rehabilitation take? Do you think that there will be an episode where they visit Dora at the hospital? Do you think Dora will be upset with or suspicious of Remmy?
>>
>>9683102
I guess "Speciest" has become a thing and greenpeace types made it one, but I tend to make the wording "Specist" instead to reduce the syllables. Also separates it a little more from the term specious.
>>
>>9683263
There'll be a Who Shot Mr Burns twist moment where after she comes out of her savage state she just keeps repeating "Remmy Cormo" over and over, leading people to believe he was in on it.

If she killed or seriously injured someone while in that altered state, it doesn't matter how reasonable she might be, she could be broken up emotionally. She might not blame Remmy but if she's a broken mess with a long road to rehabilitation that's going to put others on edge as well.

The lion and tiger couple are absolutely going to be out for Remmy's blood in order to establish the danger that even people Remmy knew and got along with are now out after him, and the Pack will be taking a risk by sheltering him.

I'm betting maybe there'll be a report on the news of attacks on sheep elsewhere in the city as well. Maybe even that racist ewe from earlier shows up lynched.

You imply Charlie lacks innocence in such dealings.
She's an innocent angel.
>>
>>9685228
I don't understand where she gets the reputation for being unlawful, especially when there's someone like Ozzy around. A straight up career criminal who's wanted by the authorities for multiple violations.
>>
>>9685228
She may not have killed anyone herself, but she's practical and well-informed. If anyone in the pack had to dispose of a body she'd be the one to help them do it and save the freakout for afterward.
>>
>>9685271
Is Charlie's only source of income really her crimes and various odd jobs? It's kind of impressive if they are, but it also suggests she's pretty vulnerable. Could get arrested any day if she doesn't eventually transition to something legitimate.

You mean story's outside of ZTG?
http://archiveofourown.org/works/8262767 Has three chapters of carnivore Judy. Namely 1,6, and 9.

Where Judy learns of something different that has her questioning her very design, Nick helps her along with it. Expect some somewhat dark things (don't worry, there's no abloo's or shit like that) in it, but also are great deal of eroticism.

(Also, just read the other chapters also. The dude's writing is pretty great.)

The only other story that I can remember. Has a chapter in this one fic, where Judy ate shrimp that was meant for Nick and it had her freaking out. Questioning her humanity and how wrong it is, but she accepts it in the end. Sadly I don't remember the name of the fic but it has been surely abandoned, so there's really no point.

But besides that? There's more and more fic's recently that has Judy eating meat one way or another, but it's not really focused on. Just as more of a through away line(s), or just something different to show her changing. Either by Nick being a "bad" influence on her or story's that have her pregnant with Nick's child and getting hit with craving's.

Has Weaver ever commented on why he wrote Transformation? Was it just a fun one-off story idea he wanted to do, does he want to do more side stories from the supporting cast's perspectives, is Charlie meant to be particularly important?

Remy keeps assuming he could take the smaller pack members in a fight, but he's sort of a pathetic klutz so it's hard to believe he could actually beat Wolter, Anneke or Charlie. Hell even Marty if he actually wanted to hurt him seems like he'd have a shot.

Zootopia has so many different species, it must be genuinely difficult for them to keep breeding enough to keep their numbers stable unless the particularly multicultural areas we see in Zootopia are the exceptions and most of the world is racial homelands like Bunnyburrow.

It'd be like the real world if different races couldn't interbreed and also there were like a million more of them and they all lived together, we'd die out in a generation without some islands of racial homogeneity or some change to how breeding/family works in society.

man the self-loathing really came through strong in that charlie one-shot. remmy's got a lot of problems but he doesn't seem to hate himself, he just beats himself up for mistakes sometimes. charlie thinks real poorly of herself and likes dressing up to pretend to be someone who's not worthless. even trans people usually see who they're transitioning to as who they really are but charlie seems to accept her 'real' self is when she feels ugly and unloveable.

Maybe. I'd be open to a sequel about Nick and Judy's relationship since it can explore both interracial relationship and infertile relationship challenges, and the idea that there's a lot of use of sperm banks/surrogates/adoption in that society would make a lot of sense.

It's actually got some odd parallels to homosexual relationships in that regard. Would a male fox and a female bunny being in a relationship not be considered "straight", since they couldn't reproduce? In real life if the man in a heterosexual relationship was impotent we'd still call them straight.

She does when she's in-character. Remmy's clueless enough that if they were in private again later he'd probably compliment how good she looked, probably thinking he'd said something nice while Charlie mentally files it as "I knew it, he only finds me attractive when I'm Not Me."
>>
>>9686721
I'm kind of split on it. Like, sometimes a concise and well-told story means not answering all the questions and leaving things open, but that doesn't mean the questions aren't still interesting. >>
>>9686821

Because weaver likes teases and implications over overt sex.
>>
>>9686827
For what it's worth, I sincerely doubt that scene was about to lead to overt sex.

Probably Remmy is just embarrassed as fuck and Avo makes him promise never to speak of this to anyone again. Basically the silly porn version of the outcome of Transformation, although I guess the full porn ending would be her blowing him behind the counter real quick in return for his silence.
>>
>>9686865

Probably, yeah. Though I imagine for quite a while after Remmy wouldnt be able to look at her without blushing, to the point where she may have to drag him aside and do something about it.
>>
>>9686723

I know the minis aren't necessarily canon and aren't placed anywhere in particular, but I can't help but think of her run-in with Cormo being just before #SheepFacts, so he's part of the Pack but before Pandora gets Savage'd (since it's hard to picture Charlie out at a party after that and the timeline was quite tight then). Kind of adds some extra emotional weight to the already-heavy scene where she goes to Remmy for emotional support then he ditches her.
>>
>>9686865
Either way, I think that interaction would be burned into Remmy's memory.

Try as he might, it'll haunt him, and he'll end up using that toy a little more often.

>>
Give me some warm-up art requests !
>>
>>9686659
The self-loathing would have been stronger if it wasn't for the fact that Charlie uses her "transformation" as a way to scam and steal from people. I want to understand her self-loathing but when she does stuff like this, it just takes away from feeling sympathy towards her and it makes me question if she even does feel any self-loathing at all
>>
>>9686919

On the 1-10 scale, with 5 being neutral and 10 being 'marry me', i'd say betty feels 6.3/10 towards remmy. She can care for everyone as part of her Beta role (We see her doing so platonically for Ozzy), but she does seem amused by remmy later on.

>>9686919

Avo does like watching him squirm. But, since shes a desperately lonely person (See above, where shes talking to her sex toy and then immediately laments how fucking lame that is), she might actually start to like remmy if they started to hang out more. Probably as a friend, but who knows.

>>
>>9686937
Very true but when people do stuff like that, you can't help but question if they honestly do feel bad about themselves
>>
>>9686924
She's a career criminal, of course she uses the disguise to steal. But it says something interesting that she deliberately chooses a scam that plays into how she thinks negatively about herself, and the way she thought about the pieces of her disguise and how she was "transforming" shows she definitely invests a whole lot more of herself into it than she might otherwise need to.

I mean she's not exactly Robin Hood but she seems to mostly be taking from people who can afford it. It's street hustling, same as Nick, obviously bad but not irredeemably so. Unfortunately her prospects for going legit aren't as good.

Actually I hadn't considered the Charlie and Nick comparison much but her self-loathing seems to come from a very similar place as his. She's a criminal and she knows it, that's how people see her, and it's become internalized until she sees herself as ugly and unwelcome. The disguise scam isn't just about the wig and the makeup, it's about pretending she's collecting money for a good cause and letting people believe for a moment she's a decent, moral, attractive person. It's the entire act and not just the character that's part of her little fantasy, that she uses it to make money is just being practical and fits her own cynical view of herself.
>>
>>9686958

It's hard to tell with charlie. She has little reason to lie to herself (And she doesnt bother to lie to anyone else, really. She's very blunt and forward, and the most she does is omit information as she cant be bothered to lie.) On top of that, it's entirely possible that hustles are her day job, as was with Nick, and she may have to contribute to Marty's rent.

Either way, we don't know for certain.
>>
>>9686930
I think if they hung out enough they could make it to fuckbuddies, depending on if Remmy really is packing and can be cool about it enough
>>
>>9686973

Definitely possible. Avo is obviously extremely okay with her sexuality (given how she decorates her apartment with sex toys), so its all down to if remmy sticks his hoof in his mouth.
>>
>>9686966
>Actually I hadn't considered the Charlie and Nick comparison much but her self-loathing seems to come from a very similar place as his.
If Judy or Nick ever made a cameo I'd like Nick relating to Charlie he'd been where she was now and how there's ways to work out of it, maybe letting her go for something instead of bringing her in. I don't think anyone else in her life is in any position to reach her.
>>
>>9686966
>I mean she's not exactly Robin Hood but she seems to mostly be taking from people who can afford it.
Charlie is actually pretty indiscriminate when it comes to her scams. In the end of transformation, you can see that the people she stole from barely had anything in their wallets
>>
>>9686973

anneke and avo will get into a fight over who called dibs on the omega first as a proxy battle for pack hierarchy and betty will settle the argument by fucking remmy herself
charlie will watch and rub herself on a table corner the whole time
>>
>>9687001
I mean that doesn't correlate one-to-one with wealth, especially these days. Sometimes I've got a bunch of cash and sometimes I don't, depending on if I'll need it.

The event seemed like some middle-class thing in a converted ballroom, I wish Weaver had detailed a little more about the crowd (especially why Remmy would even be there) because in my head it was some kind of prey-related local community gathering mostly for professionals and family types, the sort of people who'd pay for an overpriced dinner to listen to a city alderman tell them about being community leaders.

Charlie steals Remmy's wallet from time to time but I don't get the impression she's out there stealing bread from the mouths of starving children.
>>
weaver needs to do another mini on one of the other girls because all this charlie chat lately is getting boring
>>
>>9687018

And whenever she steals remmy's wallet, she always gives it back and usually doesnt take much, if any, money from it.

It really is a nice read, even if the characters are vastly different than our usual fox/bunny duo. Tobur, while just as much as a smart mouth as Nick if not more, has much more self confidence and doesn't resent the world around him, even if he does seem to have some loathing for himself. Nele is bright and physically capable, but has a much deeper fear than Judy ever did while also trying to find her place in the world, since she doesn't have a goal to work towards like Judy did.

Late Night TT, Thematic Thursday

Without giving too much away, I wrote about Nick being at Bunnyburrow at the dead of night, and coming to some realizations as he notices just how different the rural town is from the bustling city of Zootopia, and what that means growing up there.

Unbreakable (Judy gets torutred then raped and murdered)

Immoral (Judy gets kidnapped by a wolf crimelord, forced to marry him, falls in love with him, is now pregnant with his baby, all the whole she was in a relationship with Nick, who just rolls over and accepts Judy wanting the wolf to live with them as a prisoner with a shock collar)

Blueberry Pie and Carrot Cake (At some point, after two weeks of Nick being busy with training, Judy gets 'needy', makes out with Jack and gets caught by Nick. Judy goes to apologize, and Nick just forgives her almost immediately because he still loves her)

I'd only recently found Beastars, then yesterday found Forrest Tails.
Obviously inspired by Zootopia, but diverged to their own themes almost immediately.
The constant I found in the two, is the almost fatalistic acceptance that a prey animal could be eaten at any moment.
This is explained in Forrest Tails almost as the 'Circle of Life' type thing, but in Beastars it's a little more confusing, almost like a third world belief that life is basically worthless, well for prey anyway.
In both cases when the respective rabbits are threatened, the both seem to accept their impending fate and just ask that it is quick and painless.
Both interesting reads.

iirc they are unbreakable (judy torture porn), immoral (judy cucks nick with oc wolf), the tundra thaw (abortba latest 'deep' work), safe haven (judy fucks up, drunkenly cheats on nick, loses everything). There's more though, I remember one where Judy cheats on Nick for no reason other than plot convenience, there's Force of Nature that tries to have Judy cheat on Nick with Jack, etc.

>>
>>9687779
As far as Forest Tails goes, it was actually conveniences that the stories both features a fox/bunny duo, as the comic came out a bit before Zootopia came out in theaters. Zootopia has probably influenced it a little bit afterward, but it is still very much its own beast.

For the most part, you pretty much hit it right on the head. It is forced "abloo abloo" that is seen from a mile away, and done with the grace of a sledgehammer.

Immoral though is just a power-fantasy fic, as the author no doubt self-inserts as the wolf. They keep trying to justify every action of the crimelord, desperately try to make him sympathetic, Judy has to coax the wolf into having sex with her because he has a phobia, and Judy is the usual manipulative cheating whore that is getting away with bullshit because "pregnancy and hormones".

>>9687871
I really, really wish we didn't have this celestials stuff. It was kind of intriguing when it first started, a little bit funny when more people started using it, but now it is fucking everywhere.

Honestly, I don't share the majority's opinon on Borba and his works.

Sure he tripped a bit on IWS, but this was largely a result of the chosen theme and his obvious personal take on it, which he projected a bit too strongly throughout the narrative at the expense of the characters.

I agree that his attempt on drama didn't quite pay off, but his previous comedic shorts were simple fun wrapped in some pretty gorgeous art. This next project will be neither, so I think we ought to at least give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to see the end result before bashing it.
>>
>>9687913

Congats, you just won this thread.
>>
>>9687992
I agree with you for the most part on IWS. It came off heavy-handed, and he didn't use the theme well because he wanted a specific ending (WildeHopps breakup). But his previous works (except for the one with Stu) were pretty fun.

The thing that really puts me off of Borba was his attitude towards any criticism, and even comments that supported him. There was someone who tried to explain to Borba how people would see his versions of Nick and Judy as OOC, and at times this person even seemed to be on Borba's side. Borba seemed to not even fully read the comments though, and just assumed they were attacking him with cries of OOC, even they were actually trying to have a civil conversation.

The problem is not with that he tripped.
The problem is not that the chracters were misrepresented.

The problem was his reasoning why he did what he did.
He openly admitted that he never intended to keep them in character in this, because he just wanted to use them to channel his own views on the subject.

A subject that he did not even try to represent well, he lazily copy pasted the most common extreme pro-life / pro-choice cheeches and inserted them into the characters mouth without a second thought that it would fit these characters.

There is a difference between slightly changing the characters for the narrative of a different kind of story and there is a difference in using their image and name to spread false propaganda.

And not all that, but he was a coward. He backed the fuck up from making a statement about the social issue that he brought up!
Image if zootopia would've done the same?
Bringing up prejudence, but the movie ends with the press conference, and we never get the message about it that prejudence is wrong.

That's what borba did.

He abondoned the issue, left the story incomplete. A brake up is not a resolution of a conflict. It's the emotional climax of it. Ending a story at the climax is nothing but a cheap trick TV series use. It's called a cliffhanger.

A cliffhanger would be forgivable if this were a series. But it's not. This was suppose to be a stand alone comic.

Borba demonstrated his total incompatance and lazyness as a writer. And total lack of any morale and respect towards the characters he used.

If he would NEVER touch this fandom again, that would be too soon.

I didn't really like IWS, but jesus some people are being waaaay overly vicious about this comic. Yea, he didn't take critique very well and he has a LOT to improve on, but I really don't see the reasons for personally insulting him like some people have been doing.

Especially on plebbit. I've lost a lot of respect for some fanfiction writers I thought were decent people over the stuff I've seen them write.
>>
>>9687992
The problem is that even his joke strips weren't that great, art had a lot of work put into but they were below average bad translated 4koma from any jp artist. Hell, his Family Ties one was 4 strips for a simple"LOL KEK also funny faces". His ZPD party night was a worse Weaver "the joke is sex". Now, those were still slightly funny, even with his meh writing, I'm not denying that he can't surprise everyone.

The problem is that it's obvious he won't, look at his fucking dA, he's a fucking egomaniacal cunt. He's literally the personification of crazy ego trip artist. A guy like that can't ever improve on his writing because he doesn't see anything wrong with it.
>>

>>
>>9688106
Hold on IWS being a single comic, this next one features a blushing Nick with an old flame and winter. I'd agree with you, he DIDN'T deserve it, at the start when some crazies or kids were angry it wasn't WildeHopps fluff. Anyone can write anything, even if it isn't a pretty sight.

The problem is that after he started barking at everyone like a rabid dog, even people I respect like Rob, Steve Cagliacci, Rem and other CCs. At that point I feel any bullshit that happens to him will be alright by me. Reddit does Circlejerk too much about it, to the point I actually cringe when I come check stuff there.
>>

>>9688158

>>
>>9688106
That's some sound reasoning. You've actually got me second-thinking this whole issue.

Still, even with all those faults recognized to him, Borba has shown SOME level of competence; just try comparing him to the shitty authors we discussed above- though that really doesn't account to much. And his art IS amazing, after all.

But now I'm just going to great lengths to try and defend him while, as I said, your points are valid. Even I can recognize the lack of engaging writing when it's so blatant.

I'm still willing to hold out for Tundra Thaw with neutral expectations, and if the same shortcomings come through there just as glaring then I'll be forced to retract my appreciation.

>>9688158

I've noticed the same. As a content creator, I can attest that this kind of tactless shitstorms are exactly what discourages aspiring arists/writers from sharing their works. It's a damn pity.

>>9688161
Well, that's up to anyone to judge for themselves. I do feel that you're being a tad biased right now, though; not all good jokes need to have layers and complexity to them, and a good joke doesn't necessarily have to be the funniest thing you'll read that day. A smile and a chuckle are enough of a success, and I can safely say that Borba's short strips had that effect on me.

>>9688175
I'm glad you see it that way as well, but from what I'm hearing he doesn't seem too keen on receiving criticism; and that's a heavy sin for an artist.
... Did I just make an IWS pun?
>>
>>9688191
Then call it IWS chapter 1 or somethig and don't write "END" on the final page but "to be continued"

No, HE called it a story. And it's not a story. It's an abondoned halfdone script.

>>
>>9688288
I really hate when someone tries to use that argument; it shows how little they actually care for the characters they are using. I would have respected him more if he had some reasoning of why he could see Nick would act this, or Judy would act like that, and stuck to those views. Even if I thought they were stupid or didn't agree with them, at least he would have been trying. But saying "I can do what I want with them" is just using them as lifeless puppets.

>>9688374
Art has never been an issue, even with some... questionable facial expressions here and there. It is undeniable that he is a pretty damn good artist, especially when it comes to having stuff in the background to make the whole piece feel more alive. I will forever give him props for that hard work.

I just hope he can calm down and take the time to actually read through some of the comments and not think everyone is attacking him, or that all criticism is hating on him. It is understandable to get frustrated at the endless "THIS IS SHIT", but at the same time you shouldn't ignore those who try to give constructive, civil views.

I would rather have him learn and become better, than for him to leave the fandom. But we will see if he takes anything from this shitstorm.

Science, Anon.
>>
>>9688461
I'd go so far as to say that even "hate" (as in, wholly despising a piece of work you perceive as absolute fecal matter) should be delivered in a civil, constructive manner. No good ever comes from aggression, especially on a personal level. The difference can be subtle, but it's what sets "ranting" apart from "critiquing". I think it's important to keep the two seperated.
>>
>>9688440
Maybe if he wouldn't have lashed out at any critic and wouldn't have acted all #ImholierthanU about the subject he tried to tackle, people wouldn't think he is an egocentric shithead.
>>
>>9688498
>No evidence that Dora doesn't have a penis, so we're forced to assume she does.
>>
>>9688397
borba uses lyrics as dialogue even if it does not make sense. id assume same thing for the END, he wanted to make it tie in with the "even rverlasting love may... END"

Either way one can argue that it is the end of IWS and not of the "DEEP CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES" Saga
>>
>>9688525
I don't really think his shitty logic and inability to take critique warrants personal attacks, but you spin it how you wanna spin it.
>>
>>9688527
I don't recall saying that at any point.

>>

Well, you treat people like shit, you get branded as shit.

He doesn't have enough autists to shield him, so that's that.

It's just what happens.

I don't like him or his garbage but shitting on his garbage and his inability to take feedback is my limit. Attacking him makes he seem more of a victim which is exactly a problem since that gives him justification to ignore feedback as just "haters"

>>
>>9688518
That is true. An artist won't learn anything from a guy saying "This is some angsty bullshit dude, stop writing"

If someone does this, all I can say that it shouldn't be cared about.

But when there is a 2000 word essay, with valid reasoning about what he did wrong and instead of replying or even taking any part of it into consideration he just puts them into the same bag as the previous haters... he loses all the respect an artist has on my opinion.

>>9688545
>Guy acts like an egocentric douche to everyone pointing out some small logical flaws in his work
>You expect people not to be upset and point out that he acts like an egocentric douche
I have seen many civilized comments, that borba straight out wiped under the same rug as the hater comments.
>>
>>9688598
It's funny that you think he'd listen to feedback if everyone was all calm and polite. He wouldn't.
Attacking his shit work or his shit personality is no different than attacking him as a person, so I have no idea what you're on about. Strangely enough, calling him an incompetent megalomaniac is an insult. Go figure.
>>
>>9688452
My opinion on Cimar wasn't damaged by any of this, thankfully. He's clearly upset over the faults of the comic, but at no point does he resort to rants or personal attacks. He's in the clear.

Kittah is a bit more forceful, though. His review on IWS is pretty damn hillarious and on the mark for the most part, but I think the sarcasm factor is just an inch too high; although with Borba's responces this is practically warranted at this point.
>>
>>9688417
Goddamn it
>>
>>9688648
Not him, but wishing him ill by hoping everyone unsubs to him because he made a shitty comic made me lose respect for Cimar. It just sounds really damn petty. I shouldn't really say I lost respect though, I've never really been a fan of Cimar's fics, his shit is way too lovey dovey to the point that it feels OOC to me.

You're free to think what you want though

>>
>>9689150
Garbage baby writer's stories always seem pretentious to me, like they try to trick you into thinking it's so profound, when in reality it's pretty shallow and barely anything actually happens. Lots of internal monologues and feelings that never go anywhere, never change and there is never a resolution. or even a point to it.

As for the actual garbage baby bun fic, there is nothing beyond the initial idea and Nick/baby interaction is extremely poorly thought out, making Nick a horrible fucking parent unfit to handle that baby. I don't see anything cute about him calling a toddler garbage and treating it like shit. The whole situation is contrived lthe story leaves a bad taste after reading it.

That's literally what it is though, a comic based on written fiction, not sure what you're getting at. Borba's isn't based on fiction though, so it's not a graphic novel.

You misrepresented pro-life people as religious idiots, incapable to forgiveness while TRUE christianity IS about forgiveness and compassion.

You misrepresented pro-choice people as souless insensitive bastards who don't care for their partner's feelings.

You misrepresened a delicate social issue that shoud've been tackled with care, and when you relized that you bit bigger than you could chew you fucking walked away without openly making a statement.

You misrepresented modern-woman as selfish bitches who rather brake the dreams of the man they claim to love than give up any of their accomplishments.

Please NEVER write again or actually learn how to do it first.
>>
>>9689248
I can see where you're coming from, but I'd argue that this is not inherently a bad thing, at least not in the way they do it. It's a skill to manage to present simplicity in such a way so as to make it seem profound, to embelish the words that way.
Her stories are not novel in the concepts they tackle per se, but the way she handles her descriptions and analysis of situations and emotions is what I find so pleasant. It appeals to me in the most basic of levels exactly because she weaves words and expressions in a way that resembles poetry in prose; and I don't even like poetry.

So in essence, I appreciate her writing style aesthetically, get what I'm saying?

Quite honestly, that fic is probably just for author to jerk off to. It gives a vibe like it was written by a legitimate sick fuck who actually enjoys that shit.

Unlike that fic where Nick gets kidnapped and tortured. there at least the author admitted he didn't like writing that shit and had to stop for quite a while and only continues because he doesn't like leaving shit unfinished.
>>
>>9689538
Well, first point I'll make here is that I was not aware of his responces at the time, and that's my current take with him right now.

Secondly... well, yeah, I was trying to be encouraging. I was as let down by the comic as the next person, but I strongly wished to contest the hatestorm, give him another shot; as I've stated previously, I found his previous short strips rather enjoyable. Didn't want a good artist getting discouraged because of what I perceived to be a singular fuck-up.

I am currently reconsidering. His exchange with RobertFiddler really sullied my opinion of the man.

>Quite honestly, that fic is probably just for author to jerk off to. It gives a vibe like it was written by a legitimate sick fuck who actually enjoys that shit.

Considering that the villain is untouchable and we had more than half of the fic focus around torturing Judy, implying that the Lion molested her while she was asleep, and the rape, that is a pretty good assumption. He enjoyed writing that shit, and I am half convinced the "bonus chapter" is going to be the rape scene in full.

>that fic where Nick gets kidnapped and tortured

As much as "abloo abloo" that story is, at least it has a plot around it. It is shoving down the angst and 'feels' down the reader's throat, but there is some progress trying to find the criminals, and a goal in mind. Which is more than most of those other crap fics can say.
