>Someone was stealing from the Flock
>Remmy realized as all three of them were finding several of their possessions missing
>This wasn't so bad as the Flock began to share it's collective income, Remmy and Marty's paychecks along with Ozzy's disability meant there was more money to spare among the three of them
>Hence why they took notice when some of it began to go missing
>Remmy and Ozzy didn't even get a moment before Marty was throwing accusations towards his roommate
>That the Corsac was the one who was robbing them blind
>Thinking about Charlie brought heat to the Ram's groin
>As he sat back and allowed Marty and Ozzy both to service him he began thinking of another addition to his Flock
>A proper Ewe this time
>Though she was on the skinny side Charlie did possess slender curves underneath the baggy clothing she wore
>Having seen her without them before, Remmy had a fine idea as to what she'd look like without them
>That lead to imagining her writhing beneath his body, inhaling his scent and grasping at his wool as she endured his lust
>Woefully small there'd be no way she could take all of him within her
>The thought of ruining her for any other Fox cemented Remmy's thoughts
>And though she was going to be the first real Ewe of the Flock, Remmy knew he'd never let Ozzy or Marty go ignored
>In fact, he quite liked the idea of the whole Flock sampling the Vixen's body, so long as they remembered who their Leader Ram was
>As he painted Ozzy and Marty's faces (and in the latter's case, upper body) white, he knew what he was going to do with Charlie
>Looking down at his latest Flock member, who was busy being licked clean by Ozzy, Remmy asked his question
>"When do Corsac Foxes go into heat?"
>Marty only needed a few seconds to realize what Remmy was asking before flashing a sharp tooth smile
>"Should be in the middle of it. Winter is when that happens."
>With that settled, and a quick shower, Remmy sent Marty off to fulfill his task

>"And you say he is fine with this arrangement?"
>"I don't repeat myself, yes he's fucking fine with it."
>Marty growled back, unable to keep the resentment from seeping into his voice as he addressed the Fox
>Charlie could guess Marty was upset due to some of his seemingly well kept and hidden funds up and vanishing but that was hardly a concern of her's given by now he should have guessed he needed to hide his things better
>The pair were walking down the hall towards Remmy's apartment, dressed in heavier clothing due to the inclement weather outside
>The building's heating system struggled to so much as turn on, let alone deal with the surprise blizzard that had rolled in from the Wall unexpectedly
>The purpose of this venture was to secure more wool from Pack Street's only Sheep
>Though Charlie was more at home in the cold than he heat that did not mean she was acclimated to a harsh winter
>Charlie was forced to broach the topic with Marty when he had begun to horde her blanket for a change
>Being on the receiving end of thievery, Charlie found, was not something she was keen on repeating
>Instead of risking conflict with the ferocious Stoat, Charlie compromised to instead obtain another blanket
>Upon arriving at the room, Marty vented some of his frustration by hitting the door several times with both of his balled up fists
>"Door's unlocked"
>Charlie made to open the door, not noticing the dark expression on Marty's face as she crossed the threshold

>The first thing Charlie would notice is the lighting, or lack of thereof
>Remmy's apartment normally was fairly well lit with it's street-side windows but given how dark it was outside, the Fox wondered why Remmy wouldn't have had more lights on
>Probably just being cheap like anyone else on Pack Street
>Charlie could hear the shower running but Remmy's voice could be heard from the bedroom
>"In here! Marty told me you needed some wool."
>Charlie turned a corner and saw the Ram in question
>Already shirtless and only wearing boxers
>A bit more forward than what Charlie was used to seeing from him but she figured that he was eager to get this over with to get to what he wanted
>"That is correct, Cormo. I required more of your wool for another blanket, perhaps a hat to go along with it."
>"And in exchange?" Remmy proposed, causing Charlie to bite her lip slightly, remembering that she had to uphold her end of the bargain. A Sheep parting with their wool in the winter was by no means easy to accomplish.
>"...In exchange I will give you a full body massage as you requested."
>Charlie conceded on her end of the deal which elicit a grunt of approval from Remmy
>Fresh shaved was the best way to do this anyhow
>Marty entered the bedroom carrying a decent sized Wool razor, causing Charlie's eyes to light up from it's quality
>Someone had to have been saving up for something that nice
>It looked brand new even
>"Can you get this over with already?"
>Marty's impatience struck Charlie as odd but she figured he was just in one of his moods.
>With a sheet covering the floor and the bed to catch the wool, Remmy leaned back and readied for a shave
>Flicking the razor on, Charlie went to work
>Though she didn't notice it at the time, being in close proximity to Remmy now allowed her to breath in his scent
>Someone hadn't showered recently and his masculine odor was making Charlie feel tingly
>Just a side effect of the season is all

Why should the chubby guy who serves as comic relief must also be gay? I thought Zootopia is about fending off stereotyping and prejudices. So I decided to show him more centered and with a pretty girlfriend.
(Of course, he could be bisexual :D)

Exactly my point.
He like a female popstar and has a pink cup of her. That means ot he is gay.
I would say he has a crush on Gazelle.

claw was never shown being gay, just having a lot of tropes that would draw that conclusion. on a movie where a lovely florist father on a lovely family has ties with mafia and goes on a nudist resort.

hes also the guy where "Judy loves Nick, but for her her career is the most important thing" interpretation of a character who constantly put her career on the line, so theres that, too.

Comment on I Will Survive-11 by borba

borba : Congratulations! This is a job well done as usual. Having gone over the previous comments, I can definitely say that you have started a discussion here among your fans, some rather heated, others more respectful. The argument over pro-life over pro-choice is a minefield that one needs to tread carefully. However, in the end, if the couple is in a loving relationship -- and we are all assuming this is what Nick and Judy have -- then they will come to a mutual decision/arrangement. But life, unfortunately, is not a Disney movie. Artists like yourselves create art to force the readers to look at the mirror you are holding up to them. Some will like what they see, others will not. The theme of this comic is not new and is replayed millions of times around the world. Will there be a happy ending to the story? I can only hope so since you are the creator. But I foresee a very rocky road moving forward for the two protagonists of your story.

That's an amazing comment! You hit exactly everything... :) I love this controversy! Seeing forward to what will happen to them and i really hoping for an happy end (everything would be ok when they don't split apart!)

Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment, but I should tell you that abortion ISN'T the main theme of this comic.

Thank you for that assurance. As much as I respect the other camp's opinions, as a Roman Catholic, I am very much against abortion or the taking of any life. Still, your comic is doing what it exactly is meant to do...start a conversation/discussion about realities such as what Nick and Judy are facing very much like millions of couples around the world.

She also threw away her career when she thought she broke the city, didn't go to the ZPD when she found out about the Nighthowlers, and constantly went against her bosses orders to do, in her mind, what was the right thing.

Clearly her career is the most important thing to Judy.

In tonight's leading news, the wave of civil strife started by what's now being called the "Meter Maid Manifesto" has escalated into its first recorded murder, which followed a short but gruesome session of torture. Signs point to the violence being clearly motivated by a predator's hatred of prey species.

Outraged citizens of prey species demand that Mayor Bellwether takes measures to inhibit the supposed "violent nature of predators". The Mayor has ye to give an official answer, but her aides claim she's working on a possible solution which she has "had in mind for a while now".

A leader that was not able to move because of leprosy, but still had himself carried on battlefield because that to him was no excuse not to be with his troops.

He also kicked Saladins ass at the age of sixteen before Richard I even arrived in Holy Land. Shame he was a leper as he could have preserved KoJ if he was healthy.

I recomend reading up on him or watching some documentaries/videos. Probably one of the most underrated kings.

Sorbune the Fourth : Character Development Day

https://archiveofourown.org/works/10467288/chapters/23096343

Synopsis: Sorbune finally passes the Bechdel test, much to no one's surprise. The religions are now Fruits and Vegetables.

I was inspired to write this chapter after I went to Chipotle and the newbie on the job gave me like two half-scoops of meat even though I asked for DOUBLE meat and he was like it's two scoops man and i began to brood so I published this chapter so I could humiliate the newbie on the job even further by proxy because I imagine him as my main character

>That filename

Fucking damn it, I laughed while tearing up a little.

Still, I feel like this is probably a little bit of what Judy went through growing up. As a kid, it probably seems cool to some that a bunny wants to be a cop. Kind of like a superhero almost. When they get older, and see a bit more of reality, they think it is a fantasy, and Judy has her head in the clouds, or she is trying to stand out and be special. So she probably didn't have that many friends in her teen and young adult years.

Thanks for the picture, love it!

I guess even then they could be pushed either way, I mean the same could be done with Pandas. Pandas evolved from a species that definitely ate other mammals, but no longer do. They still have claws and fangs too. They could be argued being prey and being "predator" as much as any other species since they evolved from previously eating mammal meat just like everyone else.

I'm also going off the fact hes a GIANT Anteater. A regular anteater would be around the height or even smaller than Henrietta and Diana, but Tonys a giant one. So I'm going to factor that in later with PLOT DETAIL.

While he won't be affected by the pred scare as MUCH as Henrietta and Diana are, due to people looking at some GIANT CLAWED creature that eats mainly protein, he'll receive a bit.

Not to spoil anything though~

I haven't developed him much.
His appearance, connected to the fact that he is a maned wolf, makes sometimes mammals scared. This has been amusing at first, but he has soon grown annoyed by that.
However he decided to work with that: he became a tax collector, the true epitome of scariness, as revenge.
Still, all this keep mammals away from him, making him feel a little alone. He hangs out in pubs where he can find other "freaks", regarding bodily proportions.

Honestly, I don't know which would be more sad; Judy honestly believing that she is that important, or maybe she is trying to come up with every excuse feasibly possible. Yeah, she is a bit of a icon for small mammals to follow their dreams, but if she died/was injured due to childbirth I doubt many would go "Well, see what happened to that bunny? I guess dreams are just dreams." Hell, it would be more damaging if she died ON THE JOB, 'proving' how dangerous it is for a small mammal like her.

If they went to a damn doctor first, and were told the risks by a professional instead of just coming up with 'what ifs', Judy would have a better leg to stand up on. Instead she is just blabbing on about "Oh this could happen, this could happen, I am needed for such." Just say you don't want the kid because of the possible career halting you may get and leave it at that; some might not see it as the best reasoning but it is still your reason. Don't try to stack every worst case scenario just to convince your boyfriend that it is a bad idea.
>>

Reminder that rabbits have no gag reflex and are physiologically incapable of vomiting.

She'd be taking that tongue with a smile and then asking Nick what else he thinks he could fit down there.
>>
>>8933704
By this logic, if the fact that she was in a relationship with a fox potentially halted her career progress, she would dump Nick on the side of the street. Surely her own feelings are irrelevant if being a symbol is so fucking important.

Honestly, it just feels like moral grandstanding on the side of Judy to legitimize her career ambitions. It did not matter to Judy one iota how far she got in the movie, because if that was the case, she would have accepted Bellwhether's offer to become the face of the ZPD. It's clear there are more important things (by her own admission) than career progress, so the author is either imposing their own belief on her character, or simply doesn't understand why she became a police officer.

>>
>>8933704
This whole "Im an inspiration to minorities" is largely bunk. You listen to interviews with successful people and you find that they were driven by an internal spirit, not from an external force. If you have the drive to reach for heights, you'll do it, regardless of if there are inspirational people who look like you around.

Dunno, movie Judy was more about doing what she thought was right, not out of attention or being a symbol, but out of doing what made the world a better place. Her behavior could change into something more "noble" like that later but it comes off a bit too much in the comic. There's Rodentia ZPD, and several small mammals were shown to have a good amount of power over the city. Maybe if it was changed to "bunnies and diminutive mammals can do stuff as cops", since that's her story, I'd think better of this speech. Right now it seems a bit too "I'm the protagonist of the world, the beat cop celebrity Nick!", which comes off... I dunno, kinda too much for me.

That said, >hybrids >judy getting pregnant despite hybridverse and not wearing protection >i need to abort to avoid not getting my promotion >my existence as the savior of smaller mammal will be tainted by not getting this promotion nick >im the batman and a career focused bunny >lets dump this one on tundratown. I'd rather have Nick not just looking over her fucking life being in peril being a good enough reason to think about interrupting it.

I could take her saying "I want to be the symbol of Justice and Righteousness, Nick!" rather than "I AM the symbol that small mammals can do anything, everyone is looking up to ME. Nobody cared about Bellwether being the freaking mayor, I AM THE GREATEST VGTG VGTG VGTG".

^That, throwing ifs left and right is stupid plot device.

Also by Judy's logic, Nick is a far bigger symbol. Sure, she overcame her physical limitation, but Nick is the one that really shows that prejudices are meaningless. A "shifty" fox becoming an outstanding cop can be inspiration to not just other foxes but every mammal who has bad appendages attached to their species.

I can understand her reasoning not wanting to have kids in the first place, that is understandable. She might feel kids would hold her back or, in what I think would be more in character for Judy, she might feel she wouldn't be a good mother with how much time she puts into her job. I just don't agree with her view on "being a symbol"; she most likely is a symbol but, unless she fucks up, her legacy is done. She literally saved the damn city, there isn't much higher you can go from there.

>I just don't agree with her view on "being a symbol"
I kinda agree with this, I think she would be a symbol but not focus her life around that. Kinda like people theorize she would be seen as the symbol of "prey superiority" after throwing the predator mayor hiding a conspiracy of predators going savage in jail and telling everyone that predators are the enemy, despite the fact she didn't actually want that.

For me she doesn't seem to come with such a super-hero-like statement. I think the original point of that showing her side and her worries, maybe pepper a bit of her insecurities about standing up to be what everyone expects from everyone else, maybe. But for me it came down as red signs for Nick to run, fast. As someone already posted, this means she'll do ANYTHING for this, and that is pretty worrying.

(Although Judy should run from Nick as well. He seems trying to guilt trip her every few panels and don't seem to actually care about her.)

My problem is not about having a chance to kill you, is the fact that despite both not knowing how this thing will go (because Borbaverse, don't think too much about it), Judy telling Nick that the child might have issues shook him a bit, but the fact she told him the size might cause problems to her left him in "you don't know that" followed by trying to emotional blackmail her. Hell even normal childbirth have complications, it's expected, but if it's known that it might cause problems, one side should at least fret a bit about it, if only to think "There's a higher chance of x getting hurt?".

Also Borbaverse goes with "No wolves barbarian ever invade Woolsex and kill the male Sheep and rape the female theory" where Judy and Nick are literally the first couple in the world and that they are the first one to also have babies, because else this scene would not occur. Thus there is, supposedly, no doctor that would be able to tell. (Thus the "You don't know that" - "Nobody knows")
>>
>>8935620
>(Although Judy should run from Nick as well. He seems trying to guilt trip her every few panels and don't seem to actually care about her.)

I think a lot of this guilt tripping and anger comes from the fact that, without talking to him about it, she wants to get an abortion. There was no "I'm pregnant, I am scared because of unknown health risks, what can we do?" or "I am worried about my career, what can we do?". To Nick, it might seem like Judy is just listening off the reasons why she is going to end it there, and telling him is a formality before she actually does it. Does't really justify his actions and seemingly lack of caring about Judy, but I can see his point of view.
>>
>>8935824
Boxes, Funnies or Fobbits I don't care which, she is having one.
>>
>>8935869
A doctor could definitely help with the size question, just consider the average liter size for rabbits, and compare it to how large a fox kit is.

Besides, if this is even slightly in character, Judy is being brash and impulsive again.

She tries her best man.
She'd probably agree with you though.

I'm laughing.

Adam is unemployed. He does odd jobs here and there. Probably shit from the want ads that no one else wants to do.

I don't know what job he's doing currently, though. You can make it up for comedy's sake, but whatever it is is probably a temp job.

I think I've built more backstory for him than I have personality, actually. He has a slightly older, much more successful brother who he is jealous of because his mom clearly loves him more (and it not afraid to remind him) because he makes her more proud. Stereotypical nagging mother. 'Your brother has _____, why not you?!'

He lives in the Sahara because it's 'far away from her'.

His relationship with his dad is better, but the guy is going deaf.

>I think your model can be extremely attractive for maned wolves.

She's meant to be an up and coming model. Likely didn't get much work during the savage epidemic. Understood, but still felt hurt by it. I assume she gets shopped a lot in her photos, and it makes her self-conscious.

Her relationship with Adam is one of platonic not-friendship and mutual pity, albeit for different reasons.

There's also the possibility that Judy is lying to Nick and she's actually pregnant because she cheated on him with a rabbit.

>Also Borbaverse goes with "No wolves barbarian ever invade Woolsex and kill the male Sheep and rape the female theory

Did you see the fucking page before this? Where Judy mentioned Hybrids existing, she just didn't think it'd happen to her. You're taking Judy's "opinions" as facts that this hasn't happened before between a Fox and a Rabbit and you're taking Judy's side that they shouldn't even research anything beforehand. Judy is making excuses to make a quick decision with no argument, while Nick is providing a counter argument. This entire situation is because Judy made ASSUMPTIONS without consulting others or taking precautions and now she's trying to fix the problem with a bunch of rash, quick, actions while saying how she's right and anything else is wrong.

Which isn't a healthy relationship because this would set the tone for their future relationship, in which Judy does something without thinking, causes a problem, ignores Nicks feelings to fix the problem and then expects everything to be hunky doory. You guys wanna act like its manipulative on Nick's part to argue against she wants to do, but that kid didn't magically conceive itself, it's 50% Nick too.

Unless this is all a fucking ruse on Judy's part to cover up her cucking Nick.

The actions are surely fucked by emotions and whatnot, but there's only a level I can take before it turns character into something else. I can understand Judy being overly worried, I can understand Nick trying to change her mind in face of it, and getting angry because of her brash decision, I can see him telling Judy >>8935740 after she said that, I can't see him saying "Well, I guess this means even if you could have a child with me you wouldn't want to".
>>
>>8936041
If that were the case she probably wouldn't bother to let him know at all and just get the abortion.

>> But they're extremely rare and NONE OF THEM involved a couple formed by a pred and a prey.

I'm taking her side believing that she is legitimately oblivious and in hybridverse she searched for "Can foxes interbreed with bunnies" and got no results for it happening ever. Because at any other point this comic portrays Judy in an even worse light.
>>
>>8936070
Honestly, I am not sure why she is telling him regardless, because she clearly doesn't want his input on the matter.
>>
>>8936164
That's a fair point. I'd actually like that point brought up. "If you're so intent on getting rid of it, why bother telling me at all, Judy?"
>>
why do people care so much about this comic? it confuses me

Exactly, burning a pile lumber isn't burning down a house.

Mother fuckers need to get over it, an ounce of mindless blood isn't a life. Even if it was we have an overpopuation problem and life is cheap.

Bitches need to stop heiling the sky father, put down the big book of fairy tales and pick up a science book.

Agreed. "Choice" happens before sex begins. If you want pleasure without risking pregnancy, buy a dildo.

Not portraying WildeHopps as a healthy understanding relationship under stress. A lot of points in these threads are correct in that a good relationship wouldn't have these issues, or even a mediocre one, all things considered, could avoid this shitstorm. In this case Judy and Nick are showing to be pretty shitty people and that the relationship is pretty much garbage. Most people don't like that, or stay angry with the characters due to it. I see similar when people make "protags are now protag kids" and turns out the protagonists are really shitty parents and people.

I'm with the author showing problems in a relationship with WildeHopps is important to show both eventually overcoming it is important, but the whole thing is making me hate Judy and Nick and not care about the relationship at all, that's going overboard, unless you're planning on actually going through with that being either addressed and both leaving one another.

that's a subjective opinion, not a fact.

which is why this argument is pointless and comes down to 'i feel my opinion is morally superior to yours'

there are no winners here except the personal ego
