>>8618612I mean, we don't even know if Nick and Judy are together in this...I'd be curious of how a Finnick/Judy would go if cuck wasn't included. I can't think of any actual stories having those two together that wasn't, in some way, cucking Nick. There was one where Finnick confessed feelings to Judy the fucking night before she gets married to Nick, and she admits to herself that the kiss from Finnick made her heart pound in a way Nick's kisses never did (not exact wording but might as well). The second was a crack fic where Judy is in a love triangle with Nick and Gideon, she had kissed them when she was drunk and thought they were meh kissers. Finnick kisses her, saying she was perhaps the bad kisser, and then Judy bugs him so she can prove she is not bad at kissing. After the second time, Judy tells Nick and Gideon she will date whoever can kiss her like Finnick.

Its the weekend! How about we share films and books and stories that might inspire anons who are thinking of contributing to TT?For a movie, I would suggest Total Recall! Its a fun popcorn muncher with plenty of action and a cheesy plot that has a lot of interesting self-awareness to it!For a short story, check out They're Made Out Of Meat! Its all dialogue and its very short, but its quite fun to read!http://www.terrybisson.com/page6/page6.htmlIf you want to check out a longer book, I, Robot from Asimov is a great intro to sci fi! Asimov writes about awesome big ideas in a comprehensible and entertaining way-- and I, Robot is a bunch of short stories! What are your suggestions, everyone?

>>8618988Total Recall is pretty rad and not what I expected you to recommend, I had you pegged as a Blade Bunner. One of my own recommendations is the Aliens franchise, fuck I love that series so much. Intense fear of the unknown and unknowable building the suspense from scene to scene. I really hope the newest one isn't a pile of burnt out shit but I have been hurt so many times before... it's hard.
>Bunny ears were - well, they were a sensitive subject. Judy didn't have it as bad as most. She could function with the incidental contact and wear that came with working in the city without making any embarrassing scenes.>But it did get worse when she held off on the sex. Three days was a long time, when she was used to rolling around with Nick whenever the mood struck them.>The idea was to build the anticipation. And as they'd waited and made little plans and sat on their paws, Judy had started to notice her ears more. The breeze against them, those little brushes and flicks as they climbed in and out of cruisers and navigated crowded hallways. They had a certain soft inertia. Nick watched them do their thing, and made no secret of his fascination.>But with the exception of the kiss goodnight he placed against the base of her ear every evening, he left her alone.>By day two she could feel herself wound tight. By day three she was having trouble focusing on the paperwork. It took force of will to get home.>Now, Nick was sprawled on the bed, hardening up out of his sheath, and she was finding it harder and harder to stay on all fours above him as he brushed and pressed and licked and squeezed her ears.>His claws traced little lines of heat down their backs. His paws slid along their edges and warmed them where he pressed the flat planes inside between his pads.>And his teeth.>His teeth were so careful and light, but oh, they drove her nuts. Every time he nibbled on the edge of her ear or took adventurous, full-mouth bites Judy got a curl in her stomach that pushed her a little closer to that edge.>She left off digging her paws in his chest fur to skate one down her front. Nick noticed.
So, is Fru Fru's husband gonna die?
>>8618429>Judy babysits a 13 year old Nick>Alone with him, she gets curious of how big the young fox is, who is about her size>She seduces the teen with her wide bunny hips and fluffy tail>When she undresses him, she is surprised to see he is already bigger than any adult buck>Has the best night of her life when he knots her>Takes care to make sure no one suspects a thing>Nick agrees to keep it quiet, the sex is too good to pass up at his young age>As the years pass by, Judy can notice the tod's growth>Her bunny pussy gets used to the growing fox dick as she fucks him through his teen years
>>8619304who?
>>8619304Not unless he disrespects the Don or abuses his wife.
>>8619302>"Mmmm." His warning hum translated perfectly through teeth and fur and ear, like he was inside her head. Judy froze. He let her ear go.>"You know the rules." His pant was a whisper. It was all that was necessary. "No touching. You've got to let me do this.">Judy didn't know how he was managing even that control. His erection was bobbing in midair below her, dripping on his stomach.>She raised her head enough to look at him, and trusted her expression to get her mounting impatience across. Nick just grinned at her and reached up to wrap paws around the base of each of her ears. Judy's eyes rolled back.>And here she though there wasn't any more daily tension he could possibly massage out of her right now. He'd been working them over for ten minutes. But it was so good. The exquisite soreness from the constant tuning and turning her muscles did was flaring up - and then melting away to roll down in her belly. He kept that rhythm of gentle tension up until she could barely take it anymore. Now she was dripping on him, too.>"Please, Nick-">"Are you close?" he teased her.>Her need just came out as noise. >So he seized her left ear, right at its base, and squeezed.>His teeth fastened on her right ear, so his tongue laid its heat along the inside, and he pulled.>And Nick pushed a paw down between her legs where she was shivering above him and spread her wide. The pad of his middle finger brushed her clit, exactly enough->Judy squirted on him. She heard it patter on his stomach, even past the love he was heaping on her ears. Her shoulders and hips faltered under the rush that was making her fur stand on end, and she sank on top of him.>Nick growled his satisfaction into her very brain. He pulled at her hips and she felt his cock sliding home until his swelling knot pressed against her. He kept his teeth where they were and held her tight, and her orgasm was squeezing him right back. In just a few languid thrusts he started to throb.
>>8619331>Nick sat her on the edge of the bed afterward with a bottle of water, after they'd cleaned up and dried off for sleep. He was back in his shorts. She was in her favorite overlarge t-shirt, the big gray one with the faded carrot logo that was more like a blanket than a piece of clothing. >Nick ran slow, careful paws over every inch of her ears, so utterly tenderly that it wasn't even a turn-on. >"Are you sore at all, sweetheart?">She smiled at him. "I'm okay.">"No headache? Or your neck?" He kept checking her over. "There's ibuprofen in the bathroom.">"Nope, it's good." She reached for the soft fur of his chest. He always took this so seriously, and she loved him so much for it.>It made that last bit of caution finally slide out of his ears. "Okay." He held her cheeks in his paws and pressed his nose against her forehead. "Drink up. I'll get the lights.">He left her long enough to switch the desk lamp off, and then they curled up in bed together. Nick slipped his paws under her shirt and his tail came up to warm her front. She pulled it close, to telegraph her thanks.>"I love you.">"You, too." She felt his contented sigh.>And Judy had to smile, as his muzzle found its way to press against the base of her ear. >Some things never changed.end

When I was a kid, I thought 4chan was this terrible place, where no one got along and anyone could be a cuck. Turns out, real life is a little bit more complicated than a slogan on a board banner. Real life is messy. We all have limitations, we all make mistakes, which means - hey, glass half full! - we all have a lot in common. And the more we try to shitpost one another, the more exceptional each of us will be. But we have to try. So no matter what type of anon you are; from the biggest autist to our first girl, I implore you - try. Try to make the thread a better place. Look inside yourself and recognize that shitposting starts with you. It starts with me. It starts with all of us.

>>8623415Once upon a time there was a bun, and more than anything else the bun wanted to help all the other animals. She saw a bear who couldn't get comfortable, so she gathered mosses and leaves to make a bed for the uncomfy bear. Then she saw a fox who was cold, so she gathered branches and sticks to make a fire to warm the fox. Then she saw a beaver who couldn't fix his dam, so she helped him collect leaves and mud to patch the holes and cracks. Then she saw another bun, who seemed very tired and messy and in need of a good rest. She rushed to the bun's aid, wanting nothing more than to help another. But when she reached the bun, she realized she was standing on the shore of the beaver's lake, looking down at her own reflection. So the bun went home and took a bath and crawled into her warm, warm bed and took care of herself. The End.

4am hereI remember the good old days when we'd go to bed and have to catch up the next day because the eurofags would burn through 1-2 threads in the night. Now they cant even bump the thread. We're just the same 50-60 people regurgitating the same furtrash converaation day-in and day-out. Really activates your almonds.
>>8623822>doompostingI remember the good old days when OC the OG said that writefags, RPers, and cappers were cancer and would kill the thread. That was, what, July? Like a week after Zoot's House Party 2: The House Fire, when he got called out on his douchebaggery.

>>8623851House Party 1:A lot of people had fun, mingling and such. There was a nice picture drawn of the event even. Pretty much any discussion of anything ACTUALLY Zootopia related was drowned out, but most people didn't mind.I can't recall if Nips even streamed the movie that night.House Party 2: The House Fire:Zoot and a few others start encouraging the desire to have another party. It actually starts, before things went terribly wrong.People, pissed off at yet another night of self indulgence, start arguing with the RPers and things got really heated.A few people, weaver included, tried their best to keep both sides calm, but (and I admit my memory might be faulty) a weaver impersonator claimed that "he" regretted ever participating in the RPing and that made things worse. Then Comic had the misfortune of advertising his latest fic when there were a few embers still burning and OC the OG basically told Comic to fuck off and he was glad to hear that Comic's dog died, which he admitted to earlier that week. What got me was apparently one of OC's triggers was that Comic used the ZPD wolves in his fic, and that they "belonged" to bernielover who hadn't hit meme status here just yet.

>>8624974Ok, Well it's kind of immediately noticeable that they're a married couple, and either recently or still happily so. If they're not middle class (probs not) they were at least raised in such an environment. The cougar is in a very relaxed point in his (her?) life, because that coyote is providing a sense of security. And also probably has about 67 pussy & feline related puns floating around in his head if that cheeky look is anything to go off of. That or he's thinking about how cougar / coyote hybrids would probs be called coutes [pronounced cooties] which is giving him this nice mental image of their offspring spreading across zootopia like an epidemic. But the cougar puts up with his shenanergannies and sometimes jockeys with him for the position of know-it-all.They appear to be college educated. Ish. Either finishing up a 4 year or already employed. Probably something media related like marketting / newspaper journalism, idk, something vaguely professional that still offers leeway. >>8625470Shakria refused to do the voice unless everything was sexually charged. The movie was actually cut down from the original version, which had a full sex scene between two characters, and was only aired in France to keep her on board.
>>8625459>backstoriesI think that's my problem with most OCsPeople give them a face, a name, a job, tell us about their family, sexuality, etc. They give us all this surface level information without getting into why I should actually give a shit aka an actual emotional investmentI know this is ztg and talking smack about anyone is heresy so I will just stop replying
>>8625513I think most people want to avoid coming across as overly concerned with their zoosona to avoid being called self inserts or simply prefer to focus on OCs which are not their personas. To be fair, it's difficult to create a convincing and interesting OC without coming across as masturbatory or Mary sueish
>>8625460>Tube dudes are already slutty.I take offense at this>>8625513>talking smack about anyone is heresyNo, baseless bashing is shitposting. You gave reasons, yours is a sound argument. I admit that I have to give more background to my dude too, even if I prefer the approach little by little. But the main reason is because I still haven't created much of it
>>8625513Son I've written a story and have posted it here just above, give it a look see
>>8625513Another thought - don't be afraid to voice constructive criticism, this is highly we grow and evolve. It's clear your comments are not malicious and you're raising very valid points. I've noticed you don't call out any names either so it's pretty apparent it's just a general observation.Nothing wrong with a reasonable discussion and exchanging opinions as we're all civil about it.
I think character development here need a little balance. Total development down to a bank account, is going to be self insertion. We really only need enough to interact with other characters, then further development ensues from said interaction.
>>8625554>I take offense at thisYou ain't denying it though

>>8625631Try this>>8624984
>>8625631Still fairly new here and just picking up on typical trope lore, have to read a bit more yet..
>>8625542I would like to think that the trick is to put a bit of yourself in all of the players. You can't just put the whole of you in one made up person. There ought to be enough of you around to distill and concentrate into more than just the protagonist(s) without turning them all into one dimensional characters. I would like to believe I've accomplished that with my own story, but I'm not sure if I'm the best judge of that. But... I'm kind of left believing that nearly every story, even the classics, best sellers & ancient epics, had some form of gary stu or mary sue in it.
>>8625594It was implicit!>>8625631Usually the more developed are OCs different from sonas, principally because of the self-insert/Mary Sue problems talked above. However, take a look at the census: https://ztgcensus.tumblr.com/, you can find many interesting (albeit short) stories
>>8625673A Mary Sue is a protagonist in a story whose never had to overcome any obstacle or face any consequence. Everyone loves them, their life is perfect, whateverI could see someone like that juxtaposed against actual characters for comic relief, but as a protagonist they're horribly boringEven Superman and OPM have shit going on in their lives
>>8623891Oh shit I remember that! Poor comic!
>>8625673As a beginner, I figured it was easier to use yourself (or maybe your dreams) as a basis to character creation. But after reading through the writing 'rules' as put forward on the ZNN site;https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WNKSaEFV51KDoNjzDUDONRtgjeU5xIRBkePAwQXcxWE/editI figured I have to tread carefully?
>>8625513Agree with >>8625564I've voiced my criticism before about some OCs people like, like Desmond and Molly, coffee lynx and metal wolf, Sunny and Zeke, and Calvin and that badger. They're mostly just couples who do cute stuff without effort, to varying degrees, some more some less. I would like to see stories with them that make me care about them and that's not shitposting, I just dont go for the images of perfect life working out every time that some people do.That said character writing is hard, especially for people who are new, and there are less people likely to read a story about OCs than there are people who will look at pictures of them, and the people who draw are less likely to also write stories. We have Inky, who has great characters, Middry, who had one chapter of a cool story but who is busy IRL, and I don't think there are any other OCs being drawn by people who also tell stories. So you just have fics, and people are less likely to read OC fics here, which means less discussion about characters in those fics. Nobody discusses Lino, even though people some people have read Sorbune. Some people talk about Hyenahurst characters, but lets be honest that discussion was helped a lot by fanart by a reader.Lots of people would love to talk about OCs with stories attached to them, but the problem is there are rarely conversation partners. Also you might be reee'd at for discussing OC faggotry, which is just shit posting, but yes its a demotivating factor.Anyway thats the reasons why I think you don't see a lot of the kind of OCs youre looking for, artists might not have the same experience and skill of character development as writers, not as many people read OC fics, there's less chance there can be discussion about them for people not knowing about them or wanting to talk about them.
>>8625875Anyway here's a ton of characters written by someone who does nothing but make characters, they're fun.https://pastebin.com/VEN4cXNX

>>8620719He exposes his mid-riff. He's already crossdressing 24/7.
>>8625875So to that end, my forays into fics have used canon characters until I get a better handle on filling out new OC's.
>>8625875I've had one conversation about OCs that aren't Pack Street.>say "Hey I like X what do you think will happen blah blah blah">someone asks what I'm talking about>post fic and explain>zero replies>next thread author says he saw my post and thanks and they're still writing and that all my questions will be answered next chapter which is coming soonYeah, there's really no one who talks about OCs.

>>8625986To be fair here, pack st provides a lot of fuel for speculation and is emotionally engaging, which is why anons hotly debate most asinine aspects of the series, bit that's only one side of the coin. I think it's also a matter of habit too as anons are incapable of maintaining a conversation about any other series, even if they like them. >>8626050>>8626080What would I give for that it could be Day and Night at the same time in the world. At least we don't live on Venus I mean hehe instead of 24 Hours, a day is on Venus 117 Days long.
>>8626034Pack Street is very well written and is done in a way to provoke interest in what will happen next, and the characters are fleshed out just enough to keep people guessing while eager to learn more. That's a specific way of writing good characters, which is harder than even just writing good characters.Compare that to Inky's characters. We know about Maxine, Hugh and Percy's surface level descriptions, but what do we know about the meat of their characters? There are much bigger mysteries about their pasts and presents than Pack Street characters and learning about them is the thrust of the Shorty Squad story. But how much discussion can you have about their characters?>"Man, what would happen if Percy ______?">"I mean I don't know, either he'd be a nervous wreck or it'd be something to do with that thing that happened that's hinted at but we don't know yet."Inky has good characters, but they're really hard to talk about because she's the only one who knows who they really are. That's what's fun about reading the stories, but its harder to discuss them in depth without it turning into Ask Inky Questions. This isn't a criticism of Inky or Shorty Squad, its just pointing out that Shorty Squad is written different than Pack Street. So you're absolutely right, Pack Street is easy to talk about compared to other stories. Its characters can be played with, they're tropey enough but have enough depth that they can be used in different situations by different creators, and any new information we get adds to a greater pool of character development that isn't a grand revelation to finally 'get' the character.
>>8626116It's funny how this will stop being a meme one day.
>>8626042Seconded on the sheepdog comfy
>>8625953Remmy plows Ozzy in the ass.
>>8625953Bellwether have sex with Sheperd from Weaver, or another wolf.
>>8625953Remmy in a threesome with charlie and betty.
>>8626121I can see that. I like Henrietta but her comic is more about telling a story. I couldn't write Henrietta fanfiction.
>>8626121Very good analysis - thanks.
>>8626114Yeah, when it comes to Time Zones I really would apreciate it if the Earth would be as flat as a Schüttelbrot. I also try my best with the time and that I can apreciate it, but unfortunatly since I still have school I have to wake u early, since the school is a bit away (I have to wake u at 5 a.m to attend the school that starts at 7:50)Also I wanted to say Thank you for accepting my heretic request about Remmy dancing to the Sheep Song (It was something I kind of imagines Remmy would do heh.)
>>8626178This is the most German post I have ever seen in these threads.
>>8626156And Henrietta is a story told entirely through comics, which is excruciatingly slow and meticulously difficult to produce. And every page is colored.Maybe in 10 or 20 pages we'll have way more information to discuss, but its a long time before that happens. Till then the discussion will mostly be about how pretty the pages are and how excited we are for more.
>>8625875You can tell a story through character design. I just want interesting characters that aren't the same example of They're Comfy, like Mint's bun and tiger. I like that she's fat.
>>8626116It is with a heavy heart that we sing the /zgt/ national anthem one last time:"I am white... And I've got all the luck I need..."
>>8626254>>8626254>>8626254
>>8626233You absolutely can, but that's very hard to do.Discussion of characters is about exploring the characters, knowing enough of the 'what' to be able to ask 'what if', 'why', and 'how would' questions and be able to debate without speculating too much.Unless you're Mint, you won't be able to answer how those two OCs met, why they like each other (apart from physical attraction), or how they would go about their day. We have a few pictures of them fishing or napping. That's it. A nontraditional character design doesn't tell a story.
>>8626186The most german Post you say hmmm.I once had an Uncle named Friedrich, he came from Bavaria and only wore Lederhosen, also he worked in a Bavarian Beer Factory that was lead by monks. Also you have to know he was really into engeneering and liked cars so he owned an VW, an Opel and a BMW too.He never took a break nor did he make a vaccation also his broter worked by Hekler und Koch.Every day he would eat sausages mostly Weißwürste and to that he would watch football.Nothing from that is true and my apologize to all Germans here.PS: Apologize again that this has nothing to do with Zootopia
>>8626269I really like you, Krautbro
>>8626281Thank you but a Kraut I'm not.I'm that what people would call in Germany aÖssi
>>8625953Is it possible for a lewd Sharla/Gideon?
>>8626307G'DyM8.I really am going to bed this time, just have to read it all tomorrow.
>>8626233>>8626266Isn't this exactly what happened with Jack and Skye? We had nothing but concept art but look at how much stuff has been written/drawn about them. Granted, we have no concrete version of how they actually act or how they live their day to day lives but the amount of stuff made for them shows how much character design can generate interest.
>>8625953Some Betty lewd. With Remmy preferably.
>>8627303Jack and Skye have no authors. Anyone can create anything with them because they have no right answers. We have about twenty versions of Jack, and many have Skye. More can be created.
