By spoiling the rest of the intended series, rather than taking the time to actually write it.

Case #2 - As you may know, it' already in progress, but my planned outcome was to reveal that Judy's old high school chum Carol Courser was in fact the mastermind behind the entire night-howler drug running scheme, and Seth would bring her to justice after a high stakes battle within a burning building.

Case #3 - While this never got started, I had planned to write this as avoiding any actual mystery and instead makre it a character study where it would be revealed that Stoutwell's traumatic fear of foxes like Nick was a lie and in fact he was coping with a deep homosexual attraction to Nick. it would have covered him trying to come out to Nick, dealing with Nick getting engaged to Skye, and Stoutwell formulating a false relationship with Judy in order to fit into a less than gay-friendly ZPD.

Case #4 - Stoutwell would have investigated a murder on Pack Street, with familiar Ocs like Marty, Charlie, Hugh and Max Midnight as possible subjects. It would have ended with the reveal that Skye was the true killer, making way for Nick to accept Stoutwell's love for him.

Case #5 - Stoutwell would have investigated the framed murder of Chief Bogo, while also experimenting with night-howler drugs, allowing him to unleash his "Inner Savage", which allows him to summon a power from within.

Case #6 - Stoutwell would have investigated the rape and murder of a raccoon known as "Ariff", with a deeply woven mystery involving a beaver, otters, hyena, and a rabbit who is addicted to cyberspace.

Case #7 - not an actual mystery, but the grad conclusion of Stoutwell, Nick and Judy getting poly-married.

Hello anon! I was finally able to finish the fic. I apologize for the delay, as I was entertaining company late into the night.

There were a lot of grammatical errors that made it difficult to read, but I'd say that would be my harshest criticism. Is english a second language?

I don't mean to be rude with that, as ignoring that it was a nice read. A little humorously lovey-dovey from Anon's perspective, but he was sort of depicted as the classic gentleman sort, so it amused me greatly and made sense.

Cynthia, though there's not a lot to her character, fit the bill perfectly. Pretty much how I'd picture an affair with her going down.

The ending surprised me as well. I didn't expect it to go that way, but I'm sort of glad it did. I think it was a more powerful conclusion instead of just going all the way.

Grammatical kerfuffles aside, it was a nice read. Thank you for writing and sharing it.
