>>

I think you people tend to forget that Charlie and Marty are actually roommates. I'm pretty sure everyday is a different interaction between the two. Just because Pack Street is based on Remmy's POV, don't assume that two people that live together have no interaction
>>
>>8248150
That's because the shippers are clutching to any evidence that proves their ship is canon when in reality, none of the girls do
>>
>>8248346

>reminder: they've had only 2-3 lines of dialogue between them, pretty sure her and Al have had more dialogue

Yeah, these people that lived year in the same building, in the same rooms, doing their parties and being friends, They did not say a word to each other until Remmy arrived to record it.

That time Al and Velvet went on a date, yeah, they were just sitting there in silence because Remmy was nowhere to be seen.

Becuase that is blatant lie. All of the girls did something that hints at interest. Anneke most of all.
And even if we put that aside, until the girls say "I do not like you, you are not my type." You cannot say that "None of the girls have any canonical interest in Remmy"

>>8248429
That is what shipping is about.
None of the ships are canon so far.

>none of the girls do

You can make a case for most of the girls and why they are interested. Anneke is clearly interested. Even if it was only sexually.

But I know this is just the type of response you wanted. Enjoy your (you)

Thanks!

Well this guys nickname was Ginger Fox.
He was ruthless, shrewd and cunning monarch, he earned this nickname for his red hair and his bad reputation of plotting, double-crossing and oathbreaking to keep or better his position.

Sigismund ended the Papal Schism, tried to stop the early protestant movements of the Hussites (failed), he also founded The Order of the Dragon to face the Ottomans.
Among the members of that order were King Henry V of England (Battle of Agincourt) and Vlad Dracul III (Vlad Dracula) whose name originates from this order.

There is a lot to be told about this king. He did a lot of good and bad.

It appears to be a feel good comic, from the looks of it the series is about Nick bonding with Bunnyburrow. He talks to Gideon (though Nick does look annoyed at the end, and stares at Judy's cheek), and he talks to Stu who gives him the stink eye at first, but gets along with him later on.

Among wolves:

>"Consider this an idiot tax," Betty retorts with the faintest hint of a smile still at her muzzle. "Besides, what're you fuckin' doing buying sweets? This shit'll rot your teeth and you could stand to lose some weight anyway, fatass."

>Looking down at my thick wool, I glance back up to Betty with a thoughtful expression. "You really don't know anything about sheep physiology, do you."

>"No, I don't," she echoes, turning away from me with her prizes. "Don't particularly give a shit, either."

Sheepfacts:

>I can't imagine anyone around here SERIOUSLY wanting to listen to a fuckin' ram spout off about shit like hoof cleaning and wool trimming and life without horns. Besides, I know I'm not the ONLY prey species that's living on Pack Street. I don't really want to piss off the Pack by trying to flaunt myself as some novelty. Betty made it pretty clear she wasn't interested in sheep at all, and I can't imagine Al wanting to go for it either.

Betty only said she does not care for sheep biology. Honestly even if I wanted to fuck someone I would not care how their digestive system works or how they clean their nails.
And during Sheepfacts almost everyone made fun of him.

She never said she is not into sheep.
And looking at how red she got after he boasted about his dick I would not say she would turn down some mutton.

But again until she does not clearly say she does not like him this ship still floats. Same for other ships beside Dora.

Well but other characters have somethign else going for them. Martina is cute and has her Marty crossdress thing. Avo is snarky and has lewd potential and cool design etc.

Cliff and Neil are a tiger and lion dudebros/gays....nothing much
Don and Dewey are two similar canines in tuxedos, one of them has Don't meme going for him....ok

They are just not as interesting to do anything with. The only thing we could theorise about is if they are gay or not.

Pandora is cool but I feel like we do not know what to do with her. And if you want to draw someone she is probably not your first choice.

Once again I need to say I'm grateful that you like my characters enough to write fics featuring them. It's incredibly flattering and it makes me happy.

The change in perspective in the middle sort of threw me for a loop. I can't say from a writing perspective how good or bad it was, but as a reader it confused me. I do think the story got more interesting to read when it switched to Maxine's perspective. The switching back and forth is a bit jarring to me, but like with the last story I feel like it picks up more and more the further in you get, even when it switches views to another character. I don't know if I dig it as much, but it was at least fitting for the scenes themselves.

Also, I'm not sure why you chose to use a real world lake when you could have made one up. Was it for to make the piece more relatable? Or was it because Zootopia shares similar things to our world (brands with puns, etc.)? I also want to nitpick the shoes, but given the weather I'm not sure how Zootopians handle that sort of thing.

I'd go on about the little things in character, but I feel like they sounded how I'd imagine, really. Maxine in particular was very well-done, though how the other two bounced off one another was nicely done as well.

Also:
>It was for the best they kept quite and cooled down.

I assume that's a typo.

We are never going to see Gideon drawn shorter than Nick until those two are shown standing next to each other in canon.

I personally think him having a large dick would be funnier than him lying about it.

Plus it seems like a pointless thing to bring up unless he wanted to brag about it. He could have just said the women he slept with had no complaints and left it at that.

Even if his dick is small or average it doesn't matter. I just think it's funnier if it's true.

I'm fairly certain Dawn's Pred-hate comes from her conflicted feelings over wanting to be fucked by Preds.

>Dawn has her wool torn out by rough Pred paws.
>Dawn is pinned down and splayed out by strong Pred arms.
>Dawn's cunt is lapped at until she grows wet by long Pred tongues.
>Dawn is fucked with thick Pred cock.
>Dawn is filled with hot, sticky Pred cum.
>Dawn is left a moaning, sticky, spasming, claw-Marked, mess by the pack of Preds.
>Dawn wakes up from her dream, clit erect, and curses the Preds.

The entire Nighthowler conspiracy could have been avoided if Bellwether admitted to herself that she could at least Try fucking a Pred, just to come to terms with what attracted her to them. But no. She instead turned her latent attraction to Preds into hate and now spends her time languishing in prison.
At least she found herself in prison though. All those conjugal visits by Preds really show how much she's reformed.

>>8250884
The funnier thing would be if he was ~9' long. He's still big. But he apparently found it necessary to lie that he was even bigger. Then everyone can laugh at how insecure Remmy is about his size.

Glad you like it.

Well If you ever look him up I recommend to just look up Hussite Wars. Most sources usually cover him as that was an important part of his life.

Also you will learn about the badass Jan Žižka, the guy never lost a battle.

If you like you can watch this, it has only 13 minutes and it's from an old movie about Hussites.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxiyVyYjZxE

It depicts the Battle of Vítkov Hill (Prague) where Jan Žižka defeated Sigismund's 4000 fully armored knights with only around 100 peasants.
It has choreography you would expect from 1950 movie but all you see are real sets, horses and people. And most of the costumes should be historically accurate.

More Jill adventures.

>The fox in the ZPD uniform was the only one in sight that night.
>Out of the shadows, a bunny in a far-too-large trench coat strode next to him.
>”Voletair would say that it is wiser to judge a mammal by their questions, rather than by their answers,” the bunny said, not looking up from their newspaper.
>There was silence.
>The bunny cleared their throat. “I said, ‘Voletair would say it’s wiser to judge a mammal by their questions, rather than their answers.’”
>“That’s interesting.”
>The bunny glanced up from their paper. “Do you have a... response… to that?”
>The fox pursed his lips. “Nope.”
>Both were silent.
>The bunny’s ears finally twitched.
>”Nick, say the response.”
>“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
>”Nick, you know what I’m talking-”
>”And how in the world did you know my name?” the fox feigned. “Do I know you?”
>”Nick, you know who I am.”
>Both were still.
>”Jack! It’s me, Jack! You know it's me!”
>”Jack Savage?” the fox gasped in mock shock. “Not international ZIA bunny spy Jack Savage?”
>”Yes, Nick. Now, could you PLEASE say the response?”

>”Alright, I think I’m close… ‘I still have my Christmas tree in my living room. Do you think it's a fire hazard by now?’”
>Jill’s eyes widened.
>”T-that’s- ...no, it’s, uh, not the correct-”
>”Jog my memory, what did that one-”
>”You KNOW what that one meant!” Jill’s face went scarlet. “Just tell me the code phrase!”
>”Why is this dumb code phrase so important to you?” The fox sighed.

It was really fascinating to watch it and honestly I really like Movies from the 1950s (Especially this old Moses film because of the "speical effects" or that King Arthur Movie)
I have to say it's fascinating that Jan Žižka was able to defeat 4000 Man with only 100 Peasnt who were not even well armed.
Also that woman fought in the on Jans Side was also very interestening.

I believe it was bitter for Sigismund that he lost many armored knights against some peasants?

Unfortunalty I don't understand what they are saying, still I was able to enjoy these Thirdteen minutes.

I am glad you enjoyed it.
Sigismund was the one at 0:52 btw.

Most of the lines are battle reports, Sigismund laughing at the peasants and celebrating early, Hussites cheering when battle turned to their favor at the end there was this:

12:15 -

General: Highness, I lead the formation around the...

Sigismund: And the blind man kicked into it and unleashed upon you those vulgar filthy peasants with flails and the fromations are gone!

General: Fear fell upon our army, that helped those heretics.

Sigismund: Any why did fear not fell upon them?! In battle they sing, to the death they sing and you run! They run you like a flock of sheep! What a humiliation before the entire Christendom!

-12:38

Yes, women did fight with the Hussites, even if they did not fight they were constantly with the armies helping out.

>I believe it was bitter for Sigismund that he lost many armored knights against some peasants?
Oh it was.
There were 10 crusades. 10! waged on Hussite Bohemia and all of them failed. During one batle the entire army fled when Hussites were singing their battle choir (11:51), Papal legate who was present was stripping all his cardinal robes and threw them into bushes so he could in naked disguise run to the closest allied castle. It was humiliation for both him and the Pope, and all who were involved on his side. He wanted the crown of Bohemia since he was born as a second son to Charles IV. His older brother was incompetent ruler and when he died Sigismund was unable to take control of Bohemian kingdom because of Hussites. At the end Hussites splitted on Left and Right and fought each other. The side that won wanted to return to the church on their protestant terms. So old Sigismund accepted and enjoyed crown of Bohemia for a year before he died.

At some point even Joan of Arc threatened to join Sigismund to fight the Bohemian heretics. She said that had she not fought the english she would already be fighting them.

Well yes, but they feed on attention. Laughter is the best way to deal with them. Derision, ridicule and mockery always makes them disappear.
Getting angry is a sign of taking them seriously.

Like, you don't get angry at a potato with down's for eating glue because you know it's incapable of comprehending its actions. Same with sjws, getting angry is the least reasonable reaction.

I still maintain that the original premise had the flaw of trying to get us to love the city, even though the city is an awful place. You don't cheer for the redemption of the apartheid state, but it's destruction.

Did it though? Previous script had Nick and Judy basically be BFFs and join up together to end an evil politician plot and solve prejudice on a city where Nick was basically shat on his whole life. Sure it was darker, but more mature? Than simply showing how people in real life are prejudiced even if they are "good"?

I mean, are we at the point that we REALLY need several collar induced abortions, people getting lynched dead on the street, zombie collars and whatnot to make something "mature"? I thought people realized that a 18+ tag didn't necessarily made something mature.
>>
>>8253578

I understand that, but what I want to say is that making something darker doesn't mean it becomes more mature, especially when you are talking about the previous collars that made prey devils and preds saints. There is no compromise, unlike the final Zootopia.

>>8253983
I'm willing to bet Ozzy's cheery attitude might have had something to do with it. Somebody like Marty probably pushes away people quite easily, or causes them to be antagonistic to him because of his own disposition. We know so far at least Avo seems to routinely roast him, while Charlie- dream aside- seems to just kind of disregard him and his complaints in favor of her own comfort. Ozzy's probably the only one who wasn't completely put off by the tiny bastard. Even Marty would know not to screw that up.

Funny enough, it's a kind of relationship I see a lot in real life, where even the most snarky, aggressive types have a merry, amicable friend, one that is somehow beyond the scope of their dickery.
>>
>>8254052
>>8254108
My point was more that friendships sometimes crop up in odd ways and for a number of reasons, and even very different people like Marty and Ozzy can be great friends for reasons that don't have to be fully predictable
>>
>>8254154
The posts are a separate story entirely. I think I understand what you are asking: "First Impressions" is like episode 1, "Infiltration" is episode 2, "Captured" is episode 3, and these greentexts are episode 4.

Honestly, these criticisms are considered only due to the movie being able to make money, which includes shit like toys and other stuff for children, so I'm pretty sure they ignore the idea that Pixar improved by making it the current Zootopia.

That said, it is STILL the person who is writing Zistopia, so there's that. I think the collars are such a retarded idea that people latched to without thinking about it too much and now are too invested to realize how much they change of the universe.

Here's what I found so far:

>"No shit she's lying, you think I'm a fucking idiot?" Marty spits, like I'd just said the dumbest thing he's ever heard.

If I remember correctly. When the Collar Movie was shown to test audiences no one liked it. AT ALL.

Everyone felt down and saddened after watching it, and the city was so terrible, the audience questioned and wondered why Nick and Judy would ever want to save it.

The audience never cared about the city itself even though the point was TO care bout it and want it saved.
>>
>>8254613

I looked it up on google and found one, but it may also just be bullshit. I just skimmed. I asked because I found one. If not that's on me.

I'm only one person, so maybe other people would enjoy the shift in perspective. I know it's a thing authors do, but I've rarely read anything that does it, let alone ones I enjoy. I don't think it's bad be default of course.

When it was Maxine's perspective it was engaging. We saw her frustrations with the way the trip was going, viewed the trip (and the pairing) from her perspective and saw that like Percy she was displeased. Just for different reasons.

Having Percy's perspective was good because it gave us a chance to view Maxine from outside her head as well. Granted since it came too late in the story I'm not sure it benefited overall, but I could see where it would be interesting if the whole story was from him.

The third person perspective helps in us seeing the situation as it is without a character's biases, so that also works.

That's why I think any of these could work, but jumping between them just left me feeling like I was reading three different stories about the same thing at once, if that makes sense. It's the closest I can give to a criticism, since otherwise I really enjoyed it.

Well sure, but it's not so much that an oppressed minority can't have prejudicial thoughts or ideals, rather more that those aren't usually made into legal policy or lifechanging social institutions

It's like sure, both mice and foxes have stereotypes
But the stereotype for mice is "ha ha they sure love cheese" and for foxes it's "they're violent untrustworthy criminals"

If I can indulge in a bit of my own nerdiness/faggotry, I'd wondered why Hugh wasn't involved with this at first, since the trio is usually a set.

Then I remembered a few things. Of the three Hugh would likely be the least interested in going camping. Not quite not interested in leaving Zootopia for a while, but getting out there in the cold, harsh winter probably isn't fun for him. I imagine he's incredibly lonely given the season though. Probably at his mother's during their trip.

There's also the fact that he fucking despises Clancy's guts. Prolly not good to put them in the same radius let alone the same tent.

I agree and I've written about this before, but that's why my favorite part of writing Pack Street is that it's not a perfect allegory for any real life group; it addresses basic prejudices and intersocial problems without being a 1:1 parallel

The animal traits are important, and the relationship preds and prey have is not a specific metaphor for any particular real group

I stand by the opinion I've always had personally: It's a neat concept, would have loved to see what they had of it, but I don't think it would have made for a good movie and probably wouldn't do very well in theaters.

I also think one of the reasons I think the concept is neat is because I like 'what if' scenarios so much. If I hadn't known it was a thing I wonder if I would have thought up an idea like that on my own or not.

It'd be neat to see what they had before they changed their minds, but as an actual movie I don't think I would have liked it very much.

Then again I guess I'll never know.

>but that's why my favorite part of writing Pack Street is that it's not a perfect allegory for any real life group

Even if the series did in fact deal with humans in some real life setting, this would be the way to go. It's important, if you ask me anyway, to not get so caught up in creating a parallel to or allegory for some real world group/event/whatever that the author, and by extension the audience, loses sight of the overall message.

This is why it ticks me off when people try and say that the movie is about racism, or homophobia, or blacks, or gays, or any number of things. Zootopia was one of the rare examples of universal prejudice, and instead of praising it for being fair, people try and co-opt it for their own pet issue.

I always hated the idea because it was an overly dramatic mess compared to the final result. You can't have a message of understanding and peace between everyone when you throw in slavery procedures, it's like trying to write Hebrews in Egypt or other shit like that and then try to paint "and everyone lived happily ever after" fade to black with both Egyptians and Hebrews. I mean I love it as something fanfics/webcomics have, as much as I love ideas I see on webnovels and lightnovels that are considered experimental and hard to pull off, but as a movie?
>>

it has a GREAT dieselpunk a e s t h e t i c, set in not!60s, judy was cooler, palette was awesome and it have probably become a cult work.

but still, it wasn't something you Disney would show to children.

a lot of criticism comes from edgelords who think "haha, zap the animal, LOOK HE'S SAD" is a good plot hook. Which is pretty much the same that the original script had by the way.
>>
>>8255103
Right, plus the more specific you make it the more divisive you become
Sociopolitics are as heated these days as they've ever been and no matter what groups I picked it would eventually get a bunch of detractors saying that one group is much worse in real life and friendship between them is impossible or assign all the blame to one side and not the other or on and on
it's way better to go with sheep and wolves

>I wouldn't have come here, would probably have come off the theaters saying "wow truly the struggle of minorities of 2016".

As in, sarcastically?
>>
>>8255037
The problem I saw with it- and what probably would have left viewers quizzical about the matter- was that, if I remember right, the collars were specifically a Zootopia thing- which meant apparently, there were other cities that were either entirely segregated, or not pants-on-head retarded about integration. I would've spent too much time questioning why the hell somebody like Nick and Judy would bother saving such a city that imposed the collars- or why there would even be a pred population willing to put up with that when there were apparently alternatives without the shocking.

The problem was the shocking to begin with. It's hard to build a narrative around such a harsh impediment when there are so many alternatives to avoid that impediment in the first place- there's a point where you can't be sympathetic because the skeptical part of your mind is going to be saying 'Why don't they just leave? Obviously Zootopia is trying its hardest to piss off half of its economy.' The idea that somebody would not only accept such a reality, but actively reside in a city that encourages that, is a hurdle I don't think the writers knew how to overcome. Everybody would have just been saying 'move to a city that doesn't suck'.

The shock collars themselves were a good concept, but the implementation in the setting wouldn't have worked. We had have to believe that an entire population of preds weighed 'not being in Zootopia' and 'getting shocked on basic urges', and actually went with the former.
>>
>>8254555
>their relationship

They haven't one. They're fairly indifferent to each other if not outright antagonistic. The first story she shows up it's heavily implied that he sees any attraction to her as being repulsive.

>"When in the history of Zootopia has that line EVER worked?!" Marty retorts, incredulous. "Man, I knew you were a fuckin' deviant but this -- this is -- FUCK! Oh, you sick fuckin' grazer, this on an entirely new level! And with CHARLIE?! With CHARLIE!"

She probably got a roommate strictly to have someone with a legal job pay the bills.

People thought it was cool before we started seeing more and more of what Protozooptia was. The idea that shock collars were cool died when the deleted scenes got released, and it got buried when people actually starting thinking of all the plot and story tone problems they would cause.

Protozootopia as an idea is cool. Once you start thinking about it and trying to make a story out of it it starts to fall apart.
>>
>>8255257
>the collars were specifically a Zootopia thing- which meant apparently, there were other cities

I got that too, but I don't think it was ever established. It's what I thought though so the entire plot is just stupid, since the predators clearly still have freedom of movement.
>>
nero, write more The Devil's Fur is Red pls
>>
>>8255257

Maybe Zootopia the city, in Protozoot, would have been written to be more of an imagined necessity.

Preds move there and put up with the collars because of the opportunities there vs. other places with segregation or bad economies.

Actually, that makes it sound rather like the refugee crisis.
>>
>>8254976
The main issue I have always had with the collar idea is that it requires us to accept that somehow the majority population was ok with collaring 10% of them. Even in the final movie, we saw that not everyone was ok with the prejudice. Plenty of prey were standing up for predators, there were still prey and predators hanging out with each other, etc.

The setting itself might have been interestingl they could have got rid of the shock collars, kept the !not60s style, they could have kept the Wilde Times as a place for predators to relax without prey looking at them with the stink eye. The main problem though will always be how to make us care about the city and the characters, and the final product does that just fine.

Probably would be "why don't the eagles fly the ring into mordor?" or stuff like that of Zootopia. Though I'm pretty sure in the original plot Judy and Nick would 'save' Zootopia by accident, Nick & Judy end up in Animalia, try to show Nick being a savage and attacking Judy, ends up showing that savage Nick protects Judy through the power of LOVE™ and the city is suddenly convinced collars are stupid like awakening from a mass hallucination and end prejudice.
>>
Do you guys ever wonder if tumblr artists start this drama themselves?

I've never been able to prove it because I have no access to the accounts in question but...it seems awfully convenient to have on ask, anon or otherwise, tell you you're shit and then suddenly you have dozens/hundreds/thousands (dependant on # of followers) telling you how awesome you and/or your content is.
>>

I always took it as the opposite. I assumed since they were living together they were friends, and his response of 'with CHARLIE!' was like a 'you come into my house' type deal.

That's just me though. Not that he thought she was ugly or sexy. Just a sort of 'in my house, with my pal!' Especially since Marty didn't like Remmy in his bubble.

As someone who gets frequently shat on in askboxes (I got hate for drawing Judy drinking) I can tell you tumblrinas love bitching about how you're not drawing/writing things the way they want you to, among other things.

What matters is how you react to them or what you choose to post. I don't post every piece of 'hate' I get in my askbox nor do I try to make a big deal out of them. Some people could just be replying to get asspats and 'start drama' sure, but it doesn't mean they send the drama themselves.

Not to say it NEVER happens, but you overestimate the userbase if you think it's often a setup.

And that's the main flaw even the great and almighty NW couldn't solve.
She tried selling this world that had no real enemy in it, one where everybody was at fault for the current situation.
Then she introduces the "evil-brain-washing-sheep-government" as the main antagonist in later chapters.
NW must have realized how there actually must be a "one true evil" preventing everybody to realize their mistakes and get along.
(source: https://zistopia.com/pages/17/its-my-very-embarrassing-secret)

My personal theory that's based on absolutely nothing is that the way the movie would have worked is that it would make you laugh at the collars in the beginning, essentially making the audience naive and unaware to how bad the collars really were, much like Judy, and and then use the cub scene or one with a similar impact to show how horrible they really were which would coincide with Judy realizing the same thing.
>>
>>8255908
Thats why the saturday morning cartoon villains and the bunnies must be stopped bullshit ruined it entirely for me. It used to be the world that was evil, and they had to navigate through it. How in the ever loving fuck do you not suddenly ruin any comedic effect that you once had with "lol Finnick got shocked because hes so angry" or "lol Clawhauser got shocked because he saw a donut lol Clawhauser is fat" or "lol Nick got shocked cause jerk gerbils rolled over his foot in a tiny car" when you get the context of "oh when you are a child you get a collar that shocks you if you are too happy and its literally the worst fucking thing that happens and you will never forget that horrible moment"?
