You may be able to call up the parks and buy it directly over the phone, but you'd have to do it this week. And yeah, the Pin Traders Delight series is $15.45 for a bowl of ice cream + toppings with one of those pins. AU where Nick works on the Hopps farm one summer>"This is a terrible idea, Jude.">"Quiet." Judy didn't spare more than an ear for her sister. The refrain was a familiar one now, and she didn't want to miss the moment because she was distracted.>Not that the noise was going to spread far tonight. The deep summer breeze was up, rattling the reeds they were hiding in at the shoreline and causing a great rush through the crops to the south. Judy wouldn't have minded a dip herself tonight, especially with the muddy clay they were getting close to on paws and knees.>"How do you know he'll even be here?">"He does this every weekend," Judy whispered. "After lights out, his room is always empty for a while.">"And how do you know that?" Kira pushed her way up so she was even with Judy. "Does Nick know you stalk him like this? I swear, you're like a horny teenager still.">Eighteen was still technically teenaged, at least as far as the digits were concerned. But Judy just rolled her eyes at her closest sister and watched the dock on the other side of the pond.cont.
>>7992886>If she was honest, she didn't care. And Kira didn't care that much either, if she was out here too. They were both powerfully curious, thanks to the rumors that had swirled for two months now about how Nick made these little detours down to the pond on summer nights.>Help on the farm wasn't usually in the shape of a fox. Nick had been set to move out of Bunnyburrow to the city, actually, but something had happened that kept his small family here for one more season. The Hopps were always looking for a helping paw, and Nick had taken up residence for the summer without too much fuss.>Except he was a fox. Nobody really stopped noticing that. Every time she saw him, Judy was drawn to his tall frame, and his stiff ears and enormous tail, and to the teeth and claws that he was careful to keep hidden most of the time.>But she had never cared. She'd told him that, too, as they worked together and became friends, and laughed at how it made him squirm. Even his embarrasment was fascinating.>And his crepuscular habits, if they were true...>Right on time, there was a flicker of motion at the edge of the path by the crops. Two sets of rabbit ears twitched to focus it. Judy had to squint through the reeds in the faint moonlight.>It was Nick, all right, with a faint blue bundle under one arm.>He didn't have a shirt on. Judy leaned closer.>"Told you.">"Okay, fine." Kira glared. "You win. It's not too late to get out of here.">"Yes it is. He can see in the dark.">And she couldn't move now if she wanted to. Nick had stopped at the shore by the end of the little wooden dock, and he was looking back up toward the crops and the house. His ears might not have been as sensitive as hers, but they were plenty sharp, and Judy was sure he was using them to check for company.cont.

>>7992836On one side can be something great, on the other it could also be collars/snek which would eject me off the fandom.
>>7992896>She and Kira held their breath, mud soaking into their paws, as Nick turned to scan the whole near shore. He never looked right at them, but Judy could still see as his eyes flickered with reflected moonlight. She suppressed a shiver.>He was apparently satisfied. He dropped his bundle - a towel, from the laundry stack - and cut a long stretch. Judy stared, as he yawned wide and swished his tail. He was in good shape. A fox couldn't get too big, but farm work had put some definition on his frame. From this angle she could see the muscles in his shoulders moving under his fur.>And then things got better than Judy could have ever expected.>Nick reached down to pull at his belt, and dropped his pants in a pile. His boxer briefs were blue, like the towel, and they followed.>Beside her, Kira choked off a gasp. Judy just pressed forward, before she realized what he was doing, until she was up to her wrists in the cool pond, as close as she dared.>From this side, Nick was uninterrupted red and tawny fur from head to toe. He walked to the end of the dock and she just watched his hips and tail go. >He dipped a foot in the water, on the far side of the dock from them - and then bent at the waist to trail a paw through. It raised his tail, just so...>Kira squeaked and Judy looked over in time to see her screw up her face, her eyes shut and her ears down.>And that was her loss, because Nick still wasn't done showing off. He turned at the end of the dock, looking down at the ripples he'd caused, and then up at the night sky above them, and Judy got a good, long, forbidden look at an unmistakably canine sheath, and the barest flash of something light and pink at the tip. She felt her stomach clench.cont.

>>7992648Hi Vr, its Akella, I just went a couple threads back and wanted to say that I'm very glad that you liked the drawing I did! And thank so much for your very warm response too, I really appreciate it!
>>7992915>And then she and Kira both jumped as Nick leaped off the dock in a graceful dive. The splash sounded awfully loud in Judy's ears.>"NOW can we go?" Kira hissed, and grabbed at Judy's shoulder with a muddy paw. "Jude-">Judy couldn't tell if she was spooked or disgusted or something else, past the buzzing that was going in her own stomach and ears. They had to freeze again, as Nick broke the surface and shook out his ears, but once he submerged they scrambled backward deeper into the thrushes and shrubs.>"Never again," Kira swore, as they trotted the long way down the west side of the fields toward the compound. "You couldn't just settle for lusting after a nice buck, like a normal rabbit.">Judy decided to hold her tongue and just shook her head. If Kira knew that Judy was definitely thinking of sneaking out of bed again now, she'd try to put a stop to it.>So they washed their paws in one of the irrigation spigots and snuck back into the dormitories. It wasn't strictly necessary - adults had the run of the farm - but there would be awkward questions about where they'd been.>And Judy kept up the subterfuge, far longer than she probably needed to. She wanted to be sure Kira was actually drifting off in the tiny room they shared with Lauren and Mandy. She lay quiet and taut as a drum, for almost an hour, before she finally turned to face the wall and drew the sheets up over her head. >Sleep could wait.

>>7994190>Could you perhaps benefit from exploring the world of visual media?Well I have from time to time. Even took on an Inktober challenge that was given to me by Mead back in October (pic related).Sadly my drawing is always really flat and "bleh", despite constantly doodling since I was a kid. Things like writing, digital editing, and filmmaking has been more where my artistic skills have thrived. It's actually one of the reasons why I balk at seeing people like Beaver, or even Weaver (in his moments of self depreciation), say they're no good, since they clearly show that they're incredibly capable of breathing life and character into their art; something I've always lacked in with drawing. But still, I do still rarely doodle some of the ideas I have for stories (nothing in the case of my Zootopia fics, but moreso in personal writing).>>7994177>Stoutwell chapter soon? Recently read up on it, I really like it.Glad to hear it!I've recently had a few CCs tell me they've gotten into it as well, so there's been some desire to hop back in.I hate giving promises of updates, since Case #2 has been so spotty in regularly writing it, but I do hope to start working on chapter 4 soonish.Hopefully.

>>7994404Night man, take care

>>7994407To be honest, I think the author might have meant for it to be a pun on "naked CARNIVORE" since it would make more sense, but that would be spelt カーニボル (kaaniboru) so I dunno
>>7994407...Naked carnival is new. That phrase actually made me pause for a moment. Why you need that name, I am not entirely sure. And I guess missionary position is the "normal position"...why do we name it missionary? Thanks for the translation!>>7994453Possibly, Nick is getting undressed but Judy is clearly in the center of the shot. Might be a pun of Nick being a "carnivore" on Judy.
>>7994348Hey mr. Bit, has any writer ever told you that they cringe when seeing their own readthrough? It just makes me cringe when I read my own writing (even more so when I hear it read to me.) Sometimes, I feel like my cringing at my own writing makes me a worse editor, mainly because I'm loath to doing a deep read and edit of my work. Any solutions to this?
>>7994492>why do we name it missionary? If I recall correctly, Christian missionaries would teach colonized people that it was the only acceptable position for sex, hence the name
>>7994348I believe in you RF.Just like with writing, drawing takes a lot of patience and practice. I'm not saying you have to try to learn to improve if you don't want to, but know even though writing and drawing are different mediums of expression, learning them both takes a lot of hard work.I always feel the opposite. To me people who can capture a moment so vividly with only words are absolutely inspiring. Not to say artist don't do something similar, but I just marvel at excellent writing.

>>7994537I've seen it called "savage style" in some lewd fics.
>>7994537I'd assume that "doggy style" as a term most likely doesn't exist. I'd bet that position is fairly common since, in at least in Nick and Judy's case, they have no issues moving on all fours during certain situations so who knows how that translates during sex.>>7994562This seems like a good name for it.

>>7994574Interpreting the quality of a piece of art or a story is a skill. Creating a piece of art or a story is another skill. Both can aid each other, but only to a certain degree-- both require practice and learning. We usually practice and learn consuming and interpreting art and stories more than creating them. Therefor, we usually are better at judging a piece's quality than we are creating something that fits that quality. This doesn't mean you're bad. In fact, it just means you can see where you can become better, because you can tell where you need to improve. It takes a while to get better at a skill. Its normal for it to take a while. But you get better.Make the story the best it can be, learn from it, move onto the next one.
>>7994386Can't complain, I guess.I have off days, like any CC here, but my personal life has otherwise been pretty good (job is low-stress, boss appreciates the work I put in).I do wish I had a stronger work ethic as of late, but it's hard to go back to the output I had when I started on Stoutwell and my initial TT regularity, since those days were when I was unemployed, and now I have less free time to spend.>>7994525Is this Inky giving me encouragement?!(probably not)But any other way, thanks for the encouragement. If anything, I do from time to time leave my mark in the aggie.io canvases, and now and then I have done silly doodles in GIMP for the enjoyment of others, even if they're anonymously.
>>7994583"Savage style" doesn't really sit well with me, especially since they place such negative connotations with "savage".
>>7994495>>7994574>>7994495Ha!I knew this might happen when I chose to use the one doodle of mine that was of VRBit.Sorry, anon, it's only Raccoonfag, not Comicanon, that you're replying to.However, to give my two cents to the matter; I actually relish people reading my stuff, even if it turns out to be a train wreck, because as much as I appreciate a thumbs up over my hard work, I really crave people dissecting and picking it apart. As with editing; I'd say anyone probably has their own ways of dealing with it.I'm not super into rereading stuff I already wrote, as my mind tends to mark it as "done" as soon as I'm finished, but there are always places for improvement, so often I just force myself into it.The biggest rule I tend to live by is "if I'm asking if this part works with the rest of the piece, then the answer is likely 'no'".A recent example of utilizing that rule was with my recent piece Nick's Valentine, where originally the story ended with yet another statement of "It's the though that counts. Right?"I hummed and hawed over it until i decided that if it sparked so much internal debate, then obviously it was a poor ending, so I cut it and stopped it right at the narration stating Nick decided to opt for flowers and chocolates. And the end result? Both Comicanon and Teabro gave me very positive feedback in their blind reads with next to no suggestions for changes. While the other TT story, A new Dawn, where I didn't implement that rule at all... Big, BIG problems pointed out by most readers. And with Stoutwell, I've mentioned to a few before that the last chapter was re-written about three times because the opening never "clicked" for me.So in short; let your cringe be your guide. If you feel bad when you read it, you might want to cut or modify it.
>>7994654Yes.I'm giving you encouragement friend.>I do from time to time leave my mark in the aggie.io canvases, and now and then I have done silly doodles in GIMP for the enjoyment of others, even if they're anonymously. As long as you're having fun. I don't doubt you'd like to improve, but another important aspect of art is enjoying it. Pictures tend to come out better if you're having fun while making them.
>>7994690Same for writing.Question for you, I get the most satisfaction when its 'out there'. Is that the same for drawing? Is the best feeling when you show it to others?
>>7994667>Panel 1>ぴくっSFX: piku (poke)>ふあっ?!Judy: "Fuah?!">Panel 2>どうしようニックとセックスしちゃったJudy (thought bubble): "What should I do, I'm already having sex with Nick">抜かないと赤ちゃんできちゃうJudy (thought bubble): "If he doesn't pull out, we might make a baby"
Stop it, you dickbutts, my face is starting to hurt from this stupid smile you're making me smile!
>>7994745Goddamn you Beaver, that was fucking cute as shit.Really did like your fic man.
>>7994537>>7994550>>7994583>>7994588>>7994667For what it's worth, the term I've heard for that position is 'mounting' - implying a connection back to animals mating.
>>7994733I was slightly afraid of that specific picture being a tad bit rapey- without context it is hard to figure out if Judy is crying from pain or pleasure. Granted this artist is usually comfy, but Judy seems to be tearing up a lot during sex. Thank you for the translation and all the translations you have done today!...Hopefully the typesetters don't have heart attacks from seeing this thread. >>7994791Mounting sounds like a term that would be used more often, kind of like our missionary.
>>7994690Oh! Well fantastic! You can start giving me encouragement by fulfilling this stack of draw requests I have here.Starting with... Ah, yes, The cast of Shorty Squad and telling RF how amazing he is!I kid, obviously, but thank you very much, it does mean a lot hearing it from you.>Pictures tend to come out better if you're having fun while making them. And the same is very true with writing, which is often why my update schedule is fairly erratic, as I know if I'm not that into it or forcing myself, it doesn't work out as well. Some of my more successful pieces have been done while I've been having a ton of fun writing them.>>7994745I'm gonna protect that smile!Even if I have to handcuff myself to you... sleep next to you... smell your fur...Wait, what were we discussing?
>>7994818Admittedly it's a bit of a moral gray areaBased on the fact that Nick's said nothing so far, he might be "wild" which would arguably be statutory rape in the sense that he is mentally incapable of giving consentIf not, it might be the weird Japanese trope of "girl cries while enjoying it because that's a thing apparently"
Seeing all this encorangement is one of my favorite things about this place and what makes this so different than anywhere else on 4chan.
>>7994745I need more blushing water rats
>>7994879I concur.
>>7994745oh no it's CUTE
>>7994348>Sadly my drawing is always really flat and "bleh"I think they're cute. Need I remind you how I was drawing when I first came to the threads? I was pretty ass, too.>It's actually one of the reasons why I balk at seeing people like Beaver, or even Weaver (in his moments of self depreciation), say they're no good, since they clearly show that they're incredibly capable of breathing life and character into their art; something I've always lacked in with drawing. Most of the "life and character" I put into my works are purely accidental.Like Freddy and his tsundere half-cuddles that Boney liked.Heck, when Comic did the readthrough for my fic, he pointed out things that he liked that I didn't even realize were there.Happy little mistakes, like Bob Ross says.>>7994758>>7994827>>7994927>>7994946Ahhhh, no. My face is going to melt at this rate.
>>7994866Isn't it supposed to be more along the lines of "the girl enjoys it so much that it's pretty much tears of happiness?"I mean I have constantly seen the "girl cries during sex" thing, that it seems to be common knowledge when it comes to doujinshi and such.Hell I do believe that there was only ONE case with a fic that had Judy crying right at the end of it. And Nick called attention to it, something along the line's of "I must have done something right, since you (Judy) haven't cried during sex in some time."And her reasoning was that she once again realized how happy and content she is with her life at that moment.
>>7994745this is how I feel every time I get a response to a fic
>>7995015>Heck, when Comic did the readthrough for my fic, he pointed out things that he liked that I didn't even realize were there.Yeah, it's kinda weird how often he does that.I'll litter my works with foreshadowing, references to other prior fics, and so forth, but then he'll manage to pic up on a minor incidental thing I wrote and discuss at great length about the vaster meaning behind it and all I can do is say "man, I wish that was intentional, because that makes me sound like a far more brilliant writer than I am".
>>7994706The best feeling is making people happy with what I produce, so I guess so.I also wouldn't draw something if I didn't enjoy the act of drawing, of course. Drawing is therapeutic for me, and on top of it something that makes me genuinely happy and excited to do.I get happy when the things I draw are enjoyed by others, and it's a bonus point if I can produce talking points with my pieces too. The biggest enjoyment comes from other people's enjoyment for me, though.>>7994827>I kid, obviously, but thank you very much, it does mean a lot hearing it from you. That's quite flattering to hear, thank you!> The cast of Shorty Squad and telling RF how amazing he is!Last time any of them encountered RF it was less than enjoyable for them I'm afraid.>Some of my more successful pieces have been done while I've been having a ton of fun writing them.I think it's very important to like what you do. Not to discredit people for wanting recognition (everyone does to some extent), but if you're having fun then it's gonna show in your work.
>>7995104>Last time any of them encountered RF it was less than enjoyable for them I'm afraid.Yeah, not gotta lie, I don't imagine Max or Percy would enjoy RF's personality either.Kinda odd to admit with my 'sona that I don't think many other OCs/Zoosonas would get along with RF beyond VRBit (though I imagine Ozzy, and possibly Rex, of Pack Street might be okay with him).I've often viewed and presented RF as my Id run rampant; a person who runs on impulse and desires with little regard for the consequences.I think if I was to do a zoosona who was much closer to who I really am, he'd be a bit closer to Hugh
I love this place you guys
>>7994667Do you think the negative connotation to the term 'savage' has always been there, or is it something we are adding now in 'hindsight'?
>>7995283I feel the same wayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDQoww668WQ
>>7995305Considering Nick was muzzled by other kids when he was young, it's probably always been there.
>>7995213And I'll ad as an addendum, this is why i tend to get ruffled when people mistake RF and Stoutwell for the same character, since Officer Seth Stoutwell is an independent and (hopefully) well-rounded character created for the purpose of crafting an engaging story, while RF is my shits-and-giggles avatar with little to him beyond puns and beaver harassment.

>>7995395das racist
>>7995418>>7995425He's still right though.
I sometimes wish this thread wasn't so gay. But we are in trash...
>>7995469Today hasn't been particularly gay though.

>>7995457Man, welcome to Trunk's Zootopia...>>7995474I think even beaver would admit he'd tell the diff' between RF and Stoutwell.
>>7995356I was actually asking from a real life point of view, as in 200 years ago, many indigenous people around the world were referred to as 'savages', and the term wasn't really considered derogatory or negative, simply descriptive.Am I overthinking this for a ZT site?
