How about this: Hybrid children are still extremely rare, but when they do happen they are the mother's species? Maybe with some of the father's species' thinking patterns coming through? Almost Elder Scrolls tier. That way interspecies couples still have a chance at having biological kids, but would solve the "why are there still distinct species" problem that comes with them.
>>7926024Might as well just go with the Disney 50/50 at that point
>>7926024You do you, mang. Just don't expect the thread to like it.

>>7926144Do you think someone has written vore fanfics of Moby Dick
>>7926024Intraspecies hyrbids are possible, but get rarer and rarer the further up the taxonomical model you go. You've got intraspecies (two different species within species; i.e. Siberian Tiger and bengal Tiger), interspecific (a liger is an interspecific hybrid), intergeneric (mixing a sheep with a goat), and very rarely inter-familial.There are NO inter-order hybrids. There will never be boxes or funnies, or Tigerbears or Mousophants.
>>7926153>Do you think someone has written vore fanfics of Moby DickAt the rate the internet has gone, how the hell couldn't there be one at this point?
>>7926166>mixing a sheep with a goatI learn new things everyday here
How does Zootopia survive with all these interspecies couples
>>7926204It's actually just a giant degenerate sinkhole.
>>7926204With electrical work.
>>7926166>There are NO inter-order hybrids. There will never be boxes or funnies, or Tigerbears or Mousophants. But they're cute and I want Desmond to be able to take part in the traditional giraffe birthing ceremony where he catches his own children before they can fall and hit the floor.
>>7926204Probably in Zootopia they are much less common than how it is depicted here in the threads. Also it seems many mammals have several children per couple, so there is that to stop population decline
>>7926224>Not the tradition of reaching into molly's pussy to pull them out
>>7926224Technically you can make a human-anthro hybrid sparkledog cute. That doesn't mean it fits the setting
>>7926245anon that's for bulldogs.
>>7925795I desperately wish to see the rest of the Pack Streeters be represented in this series.
>>7926246And that's why I proposed the "children are the mother's species while still being rare as fuck" thing for hybrids.
>>7926257Who else is left?Rex, Ozzy, Charlie I think, and all the auxillary characters
>>7925795>>7926257>"You know I'm a ram of my word, but this is WAY over the limit Martina!">"Shh. Call me 'Marty'"
>>7926024At that point it is less "Hybrid" and more...there isn't really a term for it. Previously mentioned, Disney 50/50. Or the Pokemon Effect. Either way. Personally I am not really for biological interspecies children but, if you had to do it, having the child be the mother's species seems to be the best choice. A rabbit having a fox child must be painful due to the size differences. Otherwise just stick with no interspecies children unless otherwise genetically possible. >>7926229On that note, I have been wondering if certain species actually evolved to have less children. Specifically predators; Nick seems to be an only child, Fru Fru is having a single child. There was also the strange occurance of the rabbit mother on the train that had a single child.
>>7926264Don't forget Al & Velvet. And it has to be both of them, lest the cries of cuckery never cease.
>>7926281Remmy/Al/Velvet is getting surprisingly popular. Does it have a ship name yet?
>>7926281>all the auxillary characters
>>7926291Degeneracy
>>7926261About this idea: while I personally think that magically having a child like this doesn't fit (based on the realism of the setting), I raise with thishttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interspecific_pregnancyIn real life, you can have mother and children of different species
>>7926291>Big Bad Wolf>Timid Little Sheep>Woman who's really in chargeTeam Bo Peep.
>>7926308>>7926261Realistically, wouldn't surrogates be incredibly common/popular? That shit is hardly unheard-of in real life, in a setting where it would be in much higher demand I'd imagine it's everywhere.
>>7926005Something something rabbit hormones something something polygamy culture something something Judy is a cheating whoreThere is actually a really shittly written fanfic that uses the title of a cute little comic to lure people in, so it can have people read Judy "kind of" cheating on Nick, her husband, on Valentines Day. If you are going to use the trope, at least do it well.
>>7926324Yes but this is 4chan. You can't bring up artificial insemination and surrogates, to say nothing of stepchildren or adoption without people screaming "cuck". I wanted to avoid that entirely.
>>7926204The only canon interspecies couple is gay so...
>>7926276It probably depends also on the environment: in the city it is less common to find families with many children (like the examples you said, also the Ottertons)>>7926324Yes, surrogates could probably be common
>>7926328>kind ofWhat.
>>7926308You know, I am pretty sure we had a conversation about that a long time ago in the threads. I think we came to the conclusion that Zootopia would probably be a lot farther into that research than we would be, due to the interest. There is still the relative issue of size restriction, a fox kit might be too big for a rabbit to carry to term.>>7926324Oh definitely; we have surrogates here for our single species, so I'd imagine they'd have surrogates as well even without the influence of interspecies relationships. With it? Probably plenty couples hoping to have children of at least one of their blood.
>>7926363Frankly at this point I'd just like to see Nick be the one to have some biological kids at this point. For some reason it's always Judy that has to have rabbit kids no matter what.
>>7926388That is how the fanfic described it, because clearly Judy being frustrated because Nick canceled their dates twice in one week, one on Valentines Day, and then has Nick walk in with the rabbit landlord on top of her is "kind of" cheating. Also no alcohol was involved, no drunk excuse.
>>7926425>I am pretty sure we had a conversation about that a long time ago in the threadsOh yes, we did. I thought it was interesting to bring back the idea, given the wave of new anons we have>>7926439Also it would make Mrs. Wilde happy
>>7926439>>7926477>Reverse trope>Nick is the one pressured into having biological children by his family>Judy has no such pressure due to her hundreds of siblings producing children >She is torn between her feelings for Nick and whether Nick would be happier with a Vixen
>>7926477>>7926477>She's waiting for a grandkit>See's her boy on the news>first fox cop in history>She's so proud>Now if only he'd bring a lady home>Time goes on, he and his partner make the news a few more times>a year later, he calls home once again to say he's bringing over his girlfriend>Mrs Wilde goes DEFCON 1>straightens up, puts on a fresh, clean dress, sets out some refreshments>Going to meet her future daughter-in-law and grandbaby momma.>Everything is set, just in time for the knock on the door>Mrs Wilde tries not to look frantically excited>opens the door>Sees her boy in police dress>"Sorry mom, just got off of work">She smiles, looks for the vixen>until her eyes drift down to see his bunny partner>No other mammal in sight>No vixen>No grandbaby momma>But she's got to smile anyway

>>7926533Ah jeez you know she tried to be pleasant and nice, but she'd just have to break out the wine bottle as soon as they left.
>>7926533I want this in the sequel
>>7926533>>7926566Why doesn't she just voluteer to be a surrogate mother for Nick and Judy?
>>7926575cease your vaguely incestuous suggestionsor you're being serious in which case what are you talking about, they don't need a surrogate because they can't have a baby
https://picarto.tv/nobbydrawsgonna do some skye, gimme some more requests
>>7926533See everyone always makes a huge deal about how important family is to rabbits and shit like that, but always to push how Judy's GOTTA have kids and her family's asking her when she's gonna get knocked up and all that shit.Where's the story where family IS super important to rabbits, and that importance is exactly why Judy wants Nick to have actual kids of his very own? The Hopps family likely numbers in the thousands at this point, while the only Wildes we know about are him and his mom. You'd think that if family is so important, Judy would be adamant that the Wilde family line is continued.
>>7926536It will probably have Nick forgive her and everything will be alright. You know, he won't file for divorce or anything like how he should. Honestly the "Judy cheating on Nick" meme is kind of sad at this point. We've had hormones be the reason, being drunk as the main reason on top of that, fear, and now whatever the fuck that fic was. Still not sure why everyone has to insist on her being a cheating whore.

Its past midnight but I have another history lesson (which I still say is not bunishment, its just me reading my history book).Let me just open my book and... ah, here's the chapter I was looking for!
>>7926595Winter is a time of bitter cold and icy winds, when the land is blanketed by snow, and the whole world seems to slow down and become a bit darker. What a perfect time to wear warm, comfy sweaters, snuggle up by the heater, eat hearty foods, catch up on books or movies or games, and spend time with friends and family! However, winter in medieval times for bunnies was very different from now; we didn’t have modern technologies like UNIQUOLL jackets and streaming videos websites (and your species didn’t have them either, so don’t you dare say it's a dumb bunny thing!). How did medieval bunnies spend the winter months?First let’s talk about how they spent their non-winter days: preparing for winter! Because the lands would become unfarmable during this period, they had to work hard to store up enough food for the coming cold season-- which started at the end of September and went on till the beginning of February! That’s a long time to feed an entire burrow, so you had to stockpile a ton of food!Once the food was grown, it’d be placed underneath the burrow for storage-- yes, underneath! Burrows aren’t just holes in the ground: built like underground beehives, they draw heat upward to the main rooms, leaving the bottom floor cold cellars quite chilly. You could easily store vegetables (especially if they were pickled), fruits, beans, grains and nuts throughout the year. The second thing they stored was firewood, because when winter came, it would be their main source of heat! A bonfire (more like bunfire, amirite? Beaverdon’tgetthewrongidea) would roar in the main room, and, just as burrows would draw heat away from the bottom, the fire’s heat would be stored and circulated throughout the top rooms!
>>7926582Sexy Mrs. Otterton
>>7926582Molly bending over topless to show off her well-filled red laced panties.
>>7926599The fire would burn throughout the entire winter, and it would always be topped by a large cauldron where all of the cooking would be done. Anything and everything would be thrown into the pot-- the vegetables, the fruits, the beans, the grains, and even the nuts-- and turned into a stew called ‘pottage’. You can make it yourself: just empty your fridge into a sauce pan, turn up the heat and leave to simmer for a few months!Bunnies would work, too: they would have to fare out into the cold to repair portions of the burrow, salvage more firewood or to scrounge up any food they could find. They took sleds with them, bundled up in mittens, scarves and coats woven from heavy linens and hemp, and would even carry pots full of charcoals to keep themselves warm while they kept the burrow secure, hot and stocked.Of course, mammals would take advantage of burrows during the winter. Sometimes smaller mammals would dig tunnels into cold cellars and start syphoning away food, or caravans passing by would intimidate (usually) or raid (rarely did it come to this) burrows of their stock. However, the greatest cause of food depletion came from kings: burrows under the rule of other mammals would have to give tithes, and because they were so effective at growing food and easily bullied were sometimes the sole source of crops for an entire kingdom! Not only did they need enough for the burrow’s winter, they needed enough for a greedy monarch. To meet this imposed demand, bunnies would raise larger families-- since we rabbits don’t eat much and work very hard, the extra mouths to feed were easily compensated by the work they put in. With more food, kingdoms would grow larger, and thus demand more food from burrows, creating a population race! The cultural propensity for large bunny families stemmed not from biology, but from the labor demands of the medieval period!
>>7926605Ah, but when all was said and done, what did these large bunny families do with their off time during the winter? Well, they had fun, of course! Just like we do nowadays, bunnies would play in the snow, building tunnels and snowmammals and sledding (ever wonder where the term ski bunny came from?); music and dancing would compliment every meal, and since everyone was drunk (wine and mead were the preferred drinks of choice, since the alcohol stopped putrefaction and therefore was healthier than water), you probably had some wild dance moves; and stories would be told, whether they be sermonized or performed in front of the center fireplace before meals or told to little kits in their bunks before they went to bed. This is why, despite all the troubles that winter brings, winter is such an important season in bunny culture: yes, it can be a time for tragedy, hardships and sorrow, but it can also be a time of great warmth! When every day in the spring, summer and fall are spent farming tirelessly for the time when they won’t be able to farm, it's nice to have a period where you can relax with family…
>>7926610… Of course, that was way back when! Nowadays, bunnies don’t have to be farmers, and they have no lords demanding crop tithes! They can go to Zootopia and become their own buns! They can move to the city and be anything they want, like a coffee stand saleswoman or a gardener or an unpaid volunteer counsellor for bunnies who are depressed because they moved to the city…Look, the stereotype is true: bunnies, traditionally, don’t leave the burrow. When they do come to the city, they’re leaving all they knew behind them-- not just their old home and family, but their history and culture. Winter in the city can be especially harsh and bring up a lot of complex emotions: shame for not living up to family expectations; guilt for not contributing to the family workload; but the worst is feeling alone, living solo and missing the big, bustling burrow with hearty food and cheerful music and group dancing and hoppy beers and a bedtime story before you sleep that you once knew. Ever hear the joke that bunnies move out of Zootopia during the winter because they’re worried their ears’ll freeze? It started as a rabbit’s way to save face in front of others-- a ‘cute’ bunny admitting they’re lonely can be interpreted in ways that invite a lot of unwanted degrading remarks-- and other mammals started saying it as a jab at rabbit intelligence. Before Judy Hopps, the climate in Zootopia was rather chilly for bunnies. But just as winter can be a time for tragedy, hardships and sorrow, it can also be a time of great warmth. Some of my favorite moments of my winter were spent with all of you. Thanks for keeping me warm, everyone.

50/50 Rule is the only truth. No fucking hybrids. And the species must be somewhat similiar in size and family. Rhino and Hippo could have child, but Rhino and Rabbit or Bear could not.If there is a size difference (Let's say Fox and a Rabbit, I have no idea why I took this example)If Rabbit male was to fuck a vixen = a normal sized rabbit or fox could be born.If Rabbit female was to be fucked by a fox male = a normal sized rabbit or a "manlet" fox could be born.

The antelope born would have white fur and stripes? No. Slightly lighter fur would be the limit. If Judy and Nick had a fox child, it could be slightly tainted by Judy's grey mixed with fox red. >>7927286Except in virtually every single case Nick is a whiny doormat who accepts Judy back with basically no fuss, and in most cases actually needs to prove that he still loves her in some way. These stories tend to be written by women. Why? I don't really know. Maybe it's the fantasy of being valued so highly that they can have their cake and eat it too, and still come out ahead.
>>7927298>Ozzy and the little pup hangs out all the time.>Yeen and his little bro
>>7927298>>7927311>in his darkest times, it was his mama that kept Ozzy off the edge>he would kill for her>he would die for her>harder than either of them, though:>he would live for her
>>7927282It was a weird direction in the fandom that I am not sure where it came from. I know Old-Fashioned Disaster was one of the first, if not the first, to have Judy cheating on Nick but that was a prompt from Sprinkah. I guess it was the next step from Nick being a literal cuck to straight out Judy cheats on him? It is completely out of character for Judy to cheat on Nick for any real reason, and Nick, who is usually a pretty cocky, wise ass guy suddenly becomes meek.Amusingly, I would still prefer OFD over almost every other cheating fic. At least it doesn't have to do some contrived idea where bunnies are uncontrollable horny animals or practice polygamy. Judy just gets drunk off her ass, that is it.>>7927310>Maybe it's the fantasy of being valued so highly that they can have their cake and eat it too, and still come out ahead. This seems to be it honestly, usually you would think that the cheated party would be angry, immediately break up and cut contact. Yet Nick tends to roll over for Judy or display no real anger.

>>7927721Why thanks, I tried to capture the original's style
>>7927692I was about to say the same thing. Would it kill people to let Judy be completely responsible for her fuck ups? That is why I wrote >>7926659 , Judy still let herself get drunk, put herself in that position. She should feel the guilt and consequences of her actions, not "OH IT WAS SOMEONE ELSES FAULT BECAUSE DRUGS!"I noticed this when it comes to Judy and the press conference, a lot of fanfics like to spin the idea that Judy "didn't mean what she said" there and that it wasn't her fault. She was at fault, she meant to say those things because she honestly thought that, with everything she said to Nick afterward proving it. But Nope, sweet innocent Judy can't do anything wrong.
>>7927728Judy makes mistakes and she tries to correct them, but she can't always do it. I can accept that. It's a good conflict for a story. You are pissed off on fans who like to protect Judy when you feel she doesn't deserve the help. I understand that. You should understand, that I am pissed when a writer makes Judy make a mistake that feels forced and OOC af, just to make drama.
This thread's obsession with making a fic where Judy cheats and then gets stomped into the mud for it is not any less pathetic than the people making fics where she cheats and walks all over Nick. You are intentionally fabricating some weird situation where Judy does something wrong just because you want to see her punished for it. You guys have serious hangups you may want to reflect on.
>>7927671But is this supposed to be a continuation of the story with Judy telling her friends about 'cleaning off the dirt'?That would take a lot more work than this story. This would need a complete change of mindset from Judy, and even then, she would have to work hard to get Nick back?
>>7928129This desu no wonder these threads get seriously triggered whenever Judy ends up with someone other than Nick, you fags self insert as Nick because he's the only emotional stunted manchildren in the movie then scream cuck when he gets btfo for it. I'd rather have more fics where Judy cheats on Nick just to see you fags triggered.
>>7928129We don't have an obsession with making one, you idiot, or else it would exist. We just bitch about the fact that all of the stories about Judy cheating on Nick he's a fucking doormat and never actually gets pissed off about it.

>>7928157He bitches about that, and I bitch about that Judy cheating in the first place feels like a forced OCC conflict for a story.
>>7928175Well of course it is. But if you're gonna use that as the foundation for something new you don't just handwave away all the bad stuff that happened. It's cheap and boring.

>>7928116>You should understand, that I am pissed when a writer makes Judy make a mistake that feels forced and OOC af, just to make drama.Oh no, I understand that entirely. Everytime the subject of Judy cheating comes up, it is always pointed out how completely and utterly out of character is. Which it is, Judy always has the best intentions at heart, which cheating is completely the opposite about. Judy never wants to intentionally hurt someone like that, let alone Nick who she already has hurt badly. Making her cheat is completely forced, and usually involves stupidly convoluted plots that have all the galaxies line up.However, I wrote that greentext with OFD in mind- I wanted Judy to be responsible for her actions instead of the blame being shifted elsewhere as usual. At the same time, she fucked up, and she is sorry for that which is why Nick forgives her. Forgiveness doesn't translate into trust however, and why I ended it on the neutral note of "co-workers, hope to trust again.">>7928154Honestly I am perfectly fine with any ships with Judy not involving Nick. I just get annoyed when people have to put Nick through the ringer to do it. If people can make stories where Nick and Judy are just friends, and Judy gets with someone else? Good on them, I'll read it.
Gonna riposte this one more time.I've been working on a Remmy/Wolter story, and here's what I've got so far. Also, in writing this, I have gained a new respect for writers ITT. Wolter replied, not even stopping to glance back at the restless ram.>The smoothness of his response failed to assuage the ram. >And so, Remmy's paranoia began to resurface.>Wolter's seeming ignorance only served to amplify his suspicions...>Was this another joke being played on him?Another pack custom he was unaware of?>How many of them were in on this? Was there an ulterior motive at play?>What could possibly be going through Wolter' s mind?>And what was that store across the street that he was->Oh. He'd found it, after all.>Remmy managed to hide his embarrassment before Wolter turned to face him>The aardwolf looked pretty jovial. Giddy, even. Remmy wasn't sure how to feel. >Before the ram could offer a word, however, Wolter began to speak. >"You better not forget to add the ice cream. I'm telling you, Remmy, it tastes HEAVENLY."

>>7928222Having her act responsibly, having her deal with a problem she created I can work with. But I can't accept a story where she is forcibly written into a corner, where she can't do anything to correct her mistake. Having her walk out broken hearted accept that making it look like she accepts the reality that there is NOTHING she can do, is not like her. Judy doesn't know when to give up, and she will fight to make the things she did right, even if it's hopeless or impossible That's her character. But I'm done now, really I have work to do

>>7928548Thematic Thursday, it is a bi-weekly event we do in these threads.First week we choose a theme.Second week whoever wants make some content (drawing, fics, greentexts, songs, etc.) about this theme (obviously all Zootopia related) and submit it on Thursday (hence the name). Late entries are accepted. The theme of this week is Teenage years. You can see more informations in the links of the OP, all the old TTs at http://t3event.tumblr.com/Everyone can enter, just need to do something and on Thursday post it saying that that is your TT entry
>>7928419I don't see how this is possible, without some OOC
>>7928548Thematic Thursday, or TT is a thread event we do every two weeks where artists, writers and other cool content creators make cool stuff based on a topic or prompt that was voted for. This weeks TT is Teenage Years.

>>7928648Actually as long as the character name appears, they are the same species as the original and it is sexy it's good.Really you don't have to make it recognizable at all, most don't.
>Fic where Judy cheats on Nick with landlord. Can I get a link to this fic people were talking about?
Good news, everyone!I've gone through the archives and we have an apparent increase in thread pop, hitting 100 IPs quite regularly and actually getting 120 in the latest Oscar thread. This would mean we have about twice as much lurkers around.

>>7928707Me (a_signature)Can I ask if you could invert the order of the second and third of my TT subs for Valentine? Also I noticed that NAH's submissions seems strangely low res.And there another little thing I always forgot to say: it would be nice if you continued the idea of putting the number of pics and texts for every TT in the main page. It gives an idea on how successful that TT was. You're doing a good work, continue like this NeoTT
Oh boydid someone say gay ozzy
>>7928769I thought I was the only one.
>>7928769No, we said Ozzy x Betty.
>>7928708Just make it sexy. Have them say something that sounds like them. Like this joke here >>7928510 .With Betty being angered by this, but still chuckling at it, telling him to shut up, maybe throwing some layabout piece of clothing into his face.Add a lot of lewd, keep to the theme and it will turn out good.

>>7928769So cute
>>7928708To use Best Girl as an example, let us speak of Martina fics. This is Inadvertent Seduction: http://archiveofourown.org/works/9616475/chapters/21725465In it, Marty uses Martina to pass on his thanks to Remmy because he's not comfortable doing so as Marty, and after a mix-up an awkward romance develops between. This fits with a popular interpretation of canon (Martina is Marty as a cross-dresser) and from that canonical, IC position, tells a new story. This is In Vino Veritas: Getting Graped: http://archiveofourown.org/works/9795260In it, Martina is on the prowl for dick and ends up hunting Remmy after 'her' timber date goes poorly. This introduces an entirely new character element - Martina as a cockthirsty power-bottom - and works it into the existing character. As a result Martina can be said to be OOC, but is still easily recognizable because of their other character traits. This is how to do OOC 'properly'.A hypothetical third example would be if I found any gay smut story and find-and-replaced the names to Remmy and Martina. The story would be OOC, like In Vino Veritas, but it would be unrecognizably so - anyone trying to read the story would be immediately taken out of it by how completely out of character they both are.Between the first two story methods, the first is trickier and takes longer to reach the point that the author wants the story to go, because they have to massage the characters to get there from a canonical position. Greentext as a format is for quick stories, both in amount of effort put in and in the total length, so the second method is much more suited. Instead of having to explain how Marty acquired a thirst for dick and take the reader through that whole character arc, you leap straight to him quenching that thirst. This provides instant entertainment to the thread.
