>>71274821. Wait someone to post something that can be misunderstood or even aggravating. It can range from simple misunderstandings to dumb opinions. (One example would be someone praising someone's work, eg: "I love Chumpy works!")2. Once you identify that, built on it as you were agreeing with said poster but take an aggressive or extreme point of view. You must aim to make it really extreme, while still being 'supportive' to his statement ("Yeah dude, I loved him too, too bad the thread being shit made the awesome dude leave.", "Yeah, I loved him and the threads before, mediocre CCs spamming their scribbles we got left, hopefully he comes back!"). 3. Get a shit-ton of "Joker", "shit-stirrer", "bait" and "officer content", what have you.4. ???5. You'll still get tons of honest replies and (You). Depending on how much your post annoy people you'll even get people supportive of you.

I swear I notice something new every time I watch the movie. And on another note...GOLDEN GLOBES WOOOOO!!(I know award shows are meaningless drivel, but it still feels nice to back the winning team once in a while.)

>>7127953Hmm. Having Judy act as a babysitter to Nick definitely would make the most sense. Interesting having Judy using the fox incest thing as an excuse. Can't say I would've expected the pegging idea but whatever gets the job done... I certainly like the idea of Mrs. Wilde going savage on Judy as an act of revenge. >>7128282Well, if you post it all at once it may interrupt the thread a bit but if you do it slowly it may be harder to follow/cap.That being said, I think i would prefer the slower way.
>>7128238ah, alrighty then.i guess i don't really find a point inn making someone reviewing something before being released unless it's a long fic.>>7128260thanks, dude.i went for pegging because it felt a bit more forceful than forced insertion, and also allowed the chance for it to physically hurt him;i wanted to reinforce the idea that this would end up to be a traumatic experience for him.>>7128351i don't even know anymore

Reshilling for new thread. Update to the Shorty Squad.http://www.philome.la/tomoesgrudge/morning-coffee/playMay shill one more time tomorrow, but that's it. I promise.
>>7128260I'd imagine that Judy as a babysitter would work well if this was some AU where Judy was in Zootopia as a college student, and she takes up babysitting on the side to earn some money. Nick is the first predator she babysits, and during her first session with him she steps on some fox faux pas, maybe saying something foxes take seriously. Little Nick and Mrs. Wilde don't hold it against Judy after the situation is explained, but Judy looks up fox culture to avoid this again. She learns on the internet of the stereotype of fox incest, which is complete nonsense, but it makes her see foxes in a sexual light. She still has some deep rooted fears of them though, but Nick is small enough and young enough to where she feels she has power over him, over a fox...

>>7128282If you're going to write a "greentext" that long, why not just make it a regular story?Greentexts are traditionally quite short; I'm not sure why this trend of massively long greentexts has caught on. If you're going to be writing pages and pages of text, it will just work better as a story, not a greentext.
>>7126749Different person, if the quality says anything about it.>>7128282You do what feels right.
Look at his face>Oh shit, I won this award so I won't win the Oscar, fuck.
>>7128689I can't write a serious fic for shit and people are more forgiving with greens.
>>7128601I like this format, and I think I'll stick to it for the time being. A lot of what I had planned works for it I feel. It doesn't mean I can't experiment, but I was mostly looking for a format I could quickly get out that could still get across what I wanted it to. Sadly drawing the comic takes me too long.Which is strange to say, since it took about the same amount of time to get this out, but I assure you it took less time than it seems. Still a while, but not as long. For the time being, expect this format. I think it works for what I wanted it for.>>7128606I don't know if that makes him a good polecat. Maybe he can't help but strike poses. When he's not huddled in his own sweater.
>>7128753

Here's my first content submission to these threads. I've written in the past and I'm beginning to draw so I'm basically testing the waters with this short piece. Hey, it's another writer dude here!I've had some severe depression and other things to deal with lately, so I've been writer's block-ed bad... but I'm still trying to get this notion of a comforting, after drinking Zootopia piece off the ground.Right now, I have this done so far: http://pastebin.com/F62behvvAm looking for ideas from you guys! Comments! Anything, thanks! What would you like to see here?
>>7129366God I wish that were
>>7128771I love this fluff. Aside from a bit of grammatical and punctuation errors, it was really good. I also think that you should try and push a little of the exposition that you make (purple eyes, archeology) into the dialogue itself to make itself seem more natural. It was lovely.
>>7128771There's one specific line that sticks out at me:>'The resemblance is so captivating that everyone liked to think Judy hired experimental scientists to create a daughter so alike her and Nick.'Nearly all of this writing is pretty solid, but this certain line sticks out at me at being really awkward. I might just strike it out entirely. Or totally reword it. Maybe nitpicking, but it brings up a weird mental image plus kind of interrupts the flow.
>>7128911>>7129040Sleep tight bunners!Aaaah, waking up, going to work, missing all the content and discussion of the night. I didn't miss this.>>7129386At least with your fic Pseudo I can take some time to give it a read. I will tell you my opinion later today>>7128760Inky! I already said that but I liked how this story is developing so far!Just a question: will you post more frequent and short updates or continue with the slower long pages? Also, good morning /ztg/!
>>7129439I second this pretty much. Comfy is so great to have more of.
>>7129566
>>7129515The updates will vary in size. I'm gonna have to do a lot of them if I want to get the story I want finished. Some will come out faster than others as a result. However I'll likely take breaks to do quick art/requests too. I can't resist doodling most of the time, and I miss doing requests.I'd also like to do a few mini/inbetween comics like this one here. Once in a while. The style is simple and fun.
>>7129386It's a bit brief. You overused the word foam. I couldn't really follow what was going on as they walked. Like when Judy nearly fell down the ditch It seemed to just appear, same with the shrubbery. Pretty solid base though with some edit I look forwards to reading it.

>>7129598>"Ah'ma let y'all finish, but Kubo had the best visual effects a' ole' time!"
>>7129585Yeah, I should probably sketch out the geography a bit more. As far as using "foam" too much, I think I should edit the sentence that's close to the end. It's short, but like... damn, I'm rather stuck. Not exactly sure what to have them see (or who to have them see) before Nick tries to get Judy changed and sleeping at her place.
>>7129439>>7129549Thanks for the advice>>7129496I hated that line when I was editing, I'll try to be more cohesive next time
>>7129665Well almost satan, just think what would happen next and why it would happen. If you can't think of anything just write whatever comes to mind. If it's bad don't worry, edit it until it's good. If you need motivation I have a trick that works perfectly. Think of everything wrong with your life and how badly you have failed! Imagine the fic as yet another example of you not following through and leading to further failure. It works like a charm! You never write like panic writing!

Charlie in pink. Thoughts?
Would Zooptoop buns be hard to keep in cells if architechs didn't realize they can change their state of matter?
Let's have a discussion about prospective TT themes. I don't really like top ones - illness it too much gloom, species swap seems boring and medieval is very close to fantasy theme we already had.Family, Highschool and maybe bullying would be interesting to see. What are your thoughts?
>>7132441I like it. Pink suits her
>>7132555was gonna go with orange originally, but i agree
>>7132504try harder next TT?
>>7132441Pink seems a little not-Charlie as a colour for me. I think maybe more earthy tones, brown, orange, etc.>>7132504Well, I am the one that submitted Illness so I will speak about it first. I will use an old post of mine:It can be dramatic and it can be comfy. It can be of the body and/or of the mind.It can be easily drawn and you can write a lot about. Also a fox getting ill is usually something life-threatening so if you want more drama here it is.So, yes, it seems gloomy, but it is not limited to it. Also usually the most dark themes (like Rainy days) are the one with the highest number of comfy creations.I am still surprised that it is so high, though.Species swap doesn't seem much interesting to me, Medieval in a way can be similar to fantasy, however one can find many differences. It is a theme that focus more on the society, especially in times where a big, strong mammal species can effectively reign through pure strength over smaller ones. Also it focuses much more on the military part.Another theme that seemed interesting to me is Interspecies troubles/relations

>>7132504>Not wanting New Years resolutions
ya ever get bored of canon stuff nowadays?like, you just don't give a fuck about nick or judy or whoever anymore?or am i alone here?
>>7132590like so?
>>7132734I'm not.I'm not bored of the canon characters nor the fandom created nor the universe, there is so much to do with all of them. But de gustibus, some were bored with the canon in August, I remember. Everyone has their reasons to stay here.>>7132755Yes, imho it makes a nice contrast with her eyes. Also is compatible with her 'shifty' attitude
>>7132784thanks for the feedback man
>>7132734I'm bored of Nick and Judy. The other characters rarely get any attention and they have tons of untapped potential. It sucks that CCs rarely pump out something that has to do with canon characters that aren't Judy or Nick.
>>7132734I'm not bored because I'm extremely picky and demanding, so I'm actually starved for content
>>7133024If only
>>7132906As a CC I will say there are two main reasons:First, Judy and Nick are the more developed, well rounded characters, with their psyche deeply analyzed in the movie.Second, it is also what many want. Many want Nick and Judy, so it is obvious that they are the so popular in works. Also there are some other characters that have many works with them, like Gideon. That said, I tried myself to give more popularity to very unpopular canon/fringe canon (previous takes, comic) characters: Weaselton, the raccoon lady of the DMV, the arctic triplet. And I will try again, maybe this TT.Also, since there is the occasion, give me requests, I will do them this evening since I am still at work
>>7133057There is a raccoon lady at the DMV?Lewds when?
>>7133103>There is a raccoon lady at the DMV?Yep in the comic>Lewds when?Would you lewd such a patootie?
Why is Judy so mean?
>>7132734>>7132906I get bored of most things Zootopia, the movie really was not that great. The characters, even if unique due to their own animal perks, are easily forgettable when you ignore it. Judy and Nick are the most interesting, but that is simply because most people who watched it keeps cheering for them to end up together, rather than them being truly complex characters. Let us be honest here, Nick Wilde motivation and trauma comes from a scouts incident that happened when he was 12. Other canon characters are somewhat bland or one-dimensional, something your average hack of a content creator cannot work with. That is why a lot of them choose to work with Jack Savage and Sky(e), despite them being portrayed as a gender-swapped species-swapped Judy and Nick. Or how most try to create their own characters to tell a story. I am surprised people care about canon this much still with almost twelve months of the movie release, it's a good sign people are finally putting some criticism on the movie and moving on, I was thinking we'd have to pretend it was good and not just furry bait for a whole year. It already got the globe and made Disney look stupid by not investing on it guys, no need to pretend it is any good anymore.
>>7133143Well at first I'd establish her as a real character, add a little dimension to her, make her more likable. Then I'd add some drama, make her experience all kinds of emotions. Reveal some of her flaws. In between I'd sprinkle some teases, to get the masses going. Then after everyone has fallen in love with her people will rush to draw lewds. It's in the long game, anon.
>>7133163i thought the movie was a fun watch desunothing to write home about sure, but it was still pretty decent.i will agree that we've latched onto most of this stuff for far longer than we should have.
>>7133143Kameela is not canon, neither is Belle, Violet Hopps and other comic/game characters.
>>7127710Judy using a golden globe as a dildo when?
>>7133194It really was not even fun, everyone who I've talked either said it was a really weak Disney movie, even taking PatF into account, or said it was amazing while having a fursona on their profile picture. But each person is entitled to their own opinion. A shame a sequel will probably take the spot of something else just because of funny talking animals.
Gays are faggots.
>>7133196doesn't mean we can't talk about her.why do you think jack savage is so popular?>>7133190given that we only see her helping flash find love, my immediate thought is to have her be some sort of counselor.perhaps she wants to help others do what she's convinced she herself will always fail at doing.i dunno, what do y'all think of this idea?
>>7133230ur gay
>>7133190Then go for it, anon. Makes us proud of your creations>>7133196No she isn't. But it is fun to talk about her. Also where does the name Kameela comes from? She wasn't given one in the comic>>7133235She seems the perfect wingman, someone who will try to help you with all her forces. Strangely enough I had a similar idea for a short story with her, she is open with friends but shy with strangers, for that she usually fails at relationships. Here is the fic, a part of my TT entry:http://pastebin.com/h5V6mywB
>>7133057>As a CC I will say there are two main reasons:>First, Judy and Nick are the more developed, well rounded characters, with their psyche deeply analyzed in the movie.Definitely true, though I would chime in also as a CC that I tend to gravitate towards writing more fics about underdeveloped canon characters because it give me more wiggle room in depicting them.Because Nick and Judy are so developed and defined, I tend to worry if I'm veering off course when writing them, or possibly flanderizing them by playing it too safe and focusing on very specific traits. While if I'm writing someone like Gideon, or Clawhauser, I can afford to take risks in developing and exploring their characters, since the reader knows less about them and are more willing to accept new angles on their characterization (within reason of course). But definitely that comes with a cost, as you noted with your second point:>Many want Nick and Judy, so it is obvious that they are the so popular in works.
>>7133227I for one thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long while because of it's brilliant attention to detail, mature themes and coherent consistency as a modern fantasy world. The city is amazingly convincing and features architecture from a myriad of cultural origins.Judy is an inspiring character and Nick an admirable personification of a witty trickster. While I don't think the movie tried to tell an epic story no moment felt like boring filler. I have to agree with you on Nick's consequences of his trauma being a little exaggerated, but it had a certain relateable element to it. Certain jokes were really on point, but some lose their touch really quick (DMV scene after my second watch was stale already). In general, it was really refreshing to see such a confident take on modern world with talking talking animals instead of humans. But what spoke most to me was the message about racism and prejudice and how we're all racist to a certain degree, even if we don't want to admit it.I see where you are coming from, but may I ask why you didn't enjoy it?
>>7133162Lack of appropriate bullying.
>>7133289Flash calls her Kameela in the last frame of >>7133143
>>7133162
>>7133238Am I really?
>>7133163I think a lot of the appeal comes from the fact that the Zootopia universe and canon has so many possiblities and branches to expand upon. Basically "How would [human thing] be like but with anthropomorphic animals?" ad infinitum. That sounds dull at first, but this is basically the entire premise of the movie. Also, anthropomorphic animal characters are super easy to identify with. That's why they're such a popular premise in children's shows and movies, and considering that we never let go of all of our childish tendencies, we find them appealing as well. While I agree that the characters can be seen as a bit one-dimensional, well, that's to be expected from a movie for kids. Because that is what it is. Plus, the characters being simple gives content creators tons of opportunities for creating backstories, headcanons et cetera.I still love Zootopia, though. If Disney doesn't release anything (series, sequel, anything) they are either A: fucking retarded, or B: truly, truly despise money.
>>7133163I disagree with about everything you've said, but it was an interesting read. I loved the story, the characters, and the world.Would love to see some of your work, since you come at the movie from such a unique perspective different from my own.
>>7133369If you go by the majority of work where you fuck, yes.
>>7133385But what about the stuff where there isn't another guy around?

>>7132590I like the idea of Illness, but I wish it also included Injury.Illness can be very comfy, like being waited on when you have a cold. Like almost every TT idea, none are inherently comfy or uncomfy. Its what the artist or writer does with them. But Injury, be it sprained ankles or amputated legs, is kind of close to Illness. I think it would be many TT votes before it doubles up.

>>7133658Well, now I know the name of who I'm drawing tonight. >>7133722You too, let's draw raccoon DMV ladies!
>>7133680I preferred Illness only because I found that otherwise the theme becomes less focused. Funny fact: the idea for this theme came to me when I was ill, at the beginning of September
>>7133868Are you better now, anon?
>>7132734That's still the only reason I'm here.I don't like straight OC stuff, so that cuts out about half my possibilities from the start. I've tried writing some of it myself, to see if maybe that's my problem, but it still just feels weird. If the characters and settings don't evoke Zootopia right away, it feels like generic furry to me, which I don't find all that interesting.>>7133041I know your feel. My mechanics standards kick in and make it really hard to get into any of the remaining stories unless they're written "properly." If I see too many dependent clauses or adverbs etc., or if the prose is just purple, I drop a story as not worth my time.Sometimes I feel like it's kind of unfair.
>>7133921What oc driven stories have you read that you like?
>>7133874No, it's chronic, I have till summer. Please vote for it so I can pass on happy.
>>7132734Honestly I'm sick of it but whenever I suggest we allow a more free content creation fandom and that we move away from just Zootopia canon stuff people here go apeshit at me.Animalia General WHEN?
>>7134027what the fuck is animalia
>>7132734Those two are the main reason Im still here. I don't really care about the OCs
>>7134027wouldn't that just be furry general thenand isn't that just all of /trash/
>>7134051Why are you even here?
>>7133163I still think the movie was quite good because it had a plot that was directly impacted by our charaters actions, in particular their flaws. And the chemistry between the leads felt authentic compared to others where the two leads just stand next to each other for a while.
