Byron's was pretty fun. It's different in a subtle way. The real differences are in the eyes, every artist has their own.

Ijijiji's was tough because her lines are thin and theres lots of detail.

It's literally about Felde debacle with every CC who doesn't show up in forever coming to shit on the thread for not bending over and accepting their new buddy shitposting and telling everyone off, only to realize that they were on a sinking ship and ditching him the first moment they realized this might rub on them. Give me a fucking break with this new revisioning of them being justice warriors and the thread being full of 'trolls' who demotivate people from creating stuff and that they later realized the artist was a shitposter? People here absolutely love to be nice and motivate everyone, and now you come with this bullshit explanation that they assumed people here were actually bashing for nothing? Cut the fucking bullshit.

For a long time I used to go to bed early. Sometimes, when I had put out my candle, my eyes would close so quickly that I had not even time to say "I'm going to sleep." And half an hour later the thought that it was time to go to sleep would awaken me; I would try to put away the book which, I imagined, was still in my hands, and to blow out the light; I had been thinking all the time, while I was asleep, of what I had just been reading, but my thoughts had run into a channel of their own, until I myself seemed actually to have become the subject of my book: a church, a quartet, the rivalry between François I and Charles V. This impression would persist for some moments after I was awake; it did not disturb my mind, but it lay like scales upon my eyes and prevented them from registering the fact that the candle was no longer burning. Then it would begin to seem unintelligible, as the thoughts of a former existence must be to a reincarnate spirit; the subject of my book would separate itself from me, leaving me free to choose whether I would form part of it or no; and at the same time my sight would return and I would be astonished to find myself in a state of darkness, pleasant and restful enough for the eyes, and even more, perhaps, for my mind, to which it appeared incomprehensible, without a cause, a matter dark indeed.

Get your mind out of the gutter.

And Noir has about as much capacity to be 'edgy' as anything else!

But as >>6073250 said, it can be anything at all! It also has the capacity to be dramatic (tragic tales from dames wandering into your PI office!), funny (knuckle headed mobsters, one a big oaf and the other a small wiseguy!), action (shootouts with tommy guns and a black suited mammal hot on your tail!), romantic ("Yes, I admit it: I did it all for a girl, and I'd do it again, too, even knowing I'd end up like this..."), anything at all!

Ahhh, I gotta share this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO1jUlF9IVU

I used to listen to Johnny Dollar when I was a kid in the car with my dad when we drove back late at night. It was corny and cheesy and I always loved it...

I hope whatever funk he's dealing with lightens up soon; while I haven't read much of RSB (because I'm terrible at making time to read other people's works), I know it has a strong following and deserves to be seen through to completion.

And secondly, Otterly's comment at the end of the cap was funnier than it should have been.

Reshilling!

Kanene, despite everything-- the heat, the unpleasant company, the nagging feeling that she should go home-- was comfortable, if but a little bored. She'll soon wish she had less excitement in her life, because Zootopia's been invaded! Will she be able to survive the mad rush to escape the marching (?) army? Will she live up to her species' nickname? Was this a late War TT entry that I never picked up? Because if it was, I am so sorry this is so late. Find out in Last Night, part one, by Skathwelter!

Hello! My name’s comicanon, and I’m the VRbit! I do readings of people’s fics and upload them to soundcloud!

https://soundcloud.com/comicanon

There are a few kinds of readings I do, all on request of the author:

The first is a blind read though. A blind read through is me reading the fic without knowing anything about it. That way, the author can hear my instant reactions about what I’m thinking through a fic. It's sort of like a blind play test with a video game! At the end, I give my summary, thoughts and feedback for the piece.

The most recent blind read through I've done is here:
>>6073942

The second is an audiobook read through. An audiobook read through is me reading the fic in a radio drama style. It's sort of an acted out supplement of the work meant for entertainment purposes!

You can listen to my first completed audiobook, Raccoonfag's Stoutwell: Case #1, here!
https://soundcloud.com/comicanon/sets/audiobook-stoutwell
And of course, the original text can be found in the description.

As for the VRbit, its my Zoosona. I rolled a bunny as my Zoosona, and I work in VR, so someone called it a VRbit, and I thought it was super cute.

It's super nice to meet you! How you doing, buddy? What brought you into the lovely threads? Are you considering making content yourself, or just enjoying the wonderful works by our wonderful creators?

Unfortunately for buns, they like to dig holes in large fields, i.e. livestock pastures. Lo and behold when a horse or prized bull comes along, steps in a bun burrow and breaks its leg, the farmer wants the buns gone.

Also they do some considerable damage to crops once their numbers get out of control. They're not that big a deal in Murica, but in the Uk and Emu-land they're serious pests that must be controlled.

>Shotgun blasts did horrendous things to flesh and bone
>In combat, they could easily rip apart a torso and send the organs within onto the adjacent wall in a macabre piece of art
>In suicides, they were mostly directed toward the roof of the mammals mouth
>The resulting blast would often blow the inner walls of the cranium inside out, and the eyes would bulge due to the shockwave
>Quick and painless, if not highly messy
>Nick Wilde remembered the third night of his shifts, and the call of reported gunfire in a neighbours house
>When he and Judy pulled up, they exited their vehicle, weapons drawn and ready for the possibility of a firefight
>Upon breaching the door, the sight of what was within quelled their thoughts of a fight
>A Jaguar was slumped backwards in a chair, shotgun between his legs and eyes bulging out of his ruined skull
>It was a sight that was burned into Nicks mind from there on out
>They called paramedics and requested a body bag, cleared the house, and found no evidence of a forced entry or altercation
>Waiting for the medics to cart off the body was the hardest part
>Nick forced himself to watch as the body was rolled onto the spine board, bits of grey matter falling from the open skull
>But the eyes
>The eyes bored into his soul
>Sightless, cockeyed, bulging, and dead
>Those eyes would haunt him for the rest of his life

>"Where the hell did he go?" demanded the koala.

>He started battering the one dressed as a 'human', and when he tried to help, he tore off the horse mask of the other and stomped it into the ground.

>The two bullied bullies shrugged. "It's... fun. Its just the holiday."
>Percy jumped as the locker banged with the kick.

Hopefully the only casualty of this situation is Remmy's gym bag, it wasn't a great bag but it tried its best. The confrontation between them should be interesting, I wonder how that scene is gonna play out. Will Remmy seek out Al or vice versa and will Al own up to his own mistakes?

We've seen little of Al in a good mood so far but the other members look up to him and have on many occasions said he's a good guy but the only decent interaction between him and Remmy were at the BBQ where Al was kinda chiller than usual and when Remmy and Charlie brought in all the bug burgas from their sauce caper.

The biggest question I have is why didn't Al tell Remmy anything, why he held back or why he's been kindof a dick to him the whole time. That burger incident in the beginning was a pretty fucking terrible first impression.

Well, then again one of the preds he offended the most took care of him during his illness. Witch even on our humanfag standards is a big deal. All others are really aprriciating his trying to make it right, saying Al is a sweet guy and that he will be cool if Remmy plays ball. By the time they will talk he will hear that Remmy cleared things out with Avo,Betty,Ozzy and even his love Velvet. Plus Remmy will do that submision ritual. If that is not enough to impress Al im not sure what is. I would be impressed myself.
Of course Remmy will be stressed of how it will turn out but that will be time for Al to shine and show that nice guy inside.

So lets cross our fingers.

I really wanna hear more about Al helping his pack, I would also really like to know why he never explained anything to Remmy. Hard to say its a prey thing since he's engaged to a cutie, maybe its a sheep only kinda thing? Or maybe he just didn't know how to? I don't know. Next episode if they do get their chance to speak, should be really interesting.

>>6075850
That was a nice touch, I liked that Betty was such a big help to Remmy while he was wearing away and that she was the first person on the block to actually talk to him about the pack and what it means, even if he still knows very little its a lot better than what he knew before.

Also super cute pic, that's Nobbs right? I must have missed it! So pretty.

looking through the archvies I am at a loss. How come a film main message of which is that we should respect and try to understand one another attracts so many spiteful, vile and autistic people?

And some have been dogging threads for month, with no result whatsoever, but they keep going an the gist of their message is "how DARE you to have fun?"

“The bill is not perfect, but it faithfully reflects both mine and the President's principles of providing tax relief for families and businesses. Additionally, the bill provides mortgage assistance to homeowners in need. I am proud of my Republican colleagues who were able to defeat efforts to weigh down the legislation with irresponsible expansion of government spending. Senators Clinton and Obama have a plan to raise taxes and government spending -- that is the wrong way forward. This November, voters will choose between my vision for lowering taxes, cutting spending, and restoring fiscal responsibility, and the Democrats' tired ideas of raising taxes and increasing frivolous spending.” [Press Release, John McCain, 2/8/08]

acted irresponsibly…I believe the role of government is to help the truly needy, prevent systemic economic risk, and enact reforms that prevent the kind of crisis we are currently experiencing from ever happening again. MCCAIN CRITICIZED CLINTON FOR HER LACK OF SUPPORT FOR TAX RELIEF

Appearing On Fox News, McCain Argued That His Desire To “Give Americans Relief…From Taxes” Represented A Difference Of “Views And Philosophy And Vision” Between Him And Then-Senator Clinton. “I want to give Americans relief -- relief from taxes. And that’s my goal, and I, again, hold to the firm conviction, the fundamental principle is that a reduction in taxes lead to growing economies and eventually increases in revenues. And increases in taxes have the opposite effect on entrepreneurs, on businesses and families in America. And that will be a clear difference of opinion between -- and views and philosophy and vision between myself and either Senator Obama or Senator Clinton.” [FOX News, Your World With Neil Cavuto, 4/16/08]

DAVID AXELROD INSISTED THAT HILLARY CLINTON DID NOT OFFER REAL CHANGE IN THE 2008 PRIMARY, BUT RATHER A CONTINUATION OF WASHINGTON POLITICS

Axelrod On Clinton: "But For All Of Her Advantages, She Is Not A Healing Figure…The More She Tries To Moderate Her Image, The More She Jeopardizes Herself In The Nominating Fight And Compounds Her Exposure As An Opportunist." "I also offered Obama my assessment of his most prominent potential opponents: Hillary Clinton is a formidable candidate, who should be considered the frontrunner for the nomination because of her strength, intellect, discipline, and, of course, access to an array of assets far in excess of any other candidate. …But for all of her advantages, she is not a healing figure…The more she tries to moderate her image, the more she jeopardizes herself in the nominating fight and compounds her exposure as an opportunist. And after two decades of the Bush-Clinton saga, making herself the candidate of the future will be a challenge…" [David Axelrod, Believer: My Forty Years in Politics, 2/10/15 ]

"With one ad-libbed comment, Hillary had identified the main fault line of her campaign. Her message was clear: she understood the limitations posed by a bitterly divided and corrupted Washington, where political survival and self-interest were paramount. You can't change that game, she implied; to get things done, you had to know how to play it. As soon as she said it, I recognized the opportunity that Hillary had handed us. Axelrod: "[I] Also Believed That Barack Offered The Country Something Hillary Could Not: A Fresh Start." "I could never forget Hillary's willingness to be there when Susan launched her charitable crusade against epilepsy, and I knew that the Clintons would see my role in this Obama insurrection as an unforgivable betrayal. However, I also believed that Barack offered the country something Hillary could not: a fresh start." Axelrod: In 2008, "The 'Change' Hillary Was Offering Was Not Much Change At All- Certainly Not A Move Away From The Raw, Divisive Politics That Had Come To Define Washington." "She had pressed her advantage on Washington experience and gamely parried our call for change by embracing the word. Yet the 'change' Hillary was offering was not much change at all- certainly not a move away from the raw, divisive politics that had come to define Washington." Axelrod: "At The Very Moment When We Were Arguing That She Was Nothing More Than A Status Quo Washington Politician, Her Awkward Evasions And The Critical Commentaries That Ensued Buttressed Our Case." "Hours later, during the NBC debate at Drexel University, it was Hillary on the defensive, the real tripwire for her coming when Tim Russert asked about Governor Eliot Spitzer's abortive plan to provide driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants in New York. Hillary danced around the issue, palavering at length about Bush's failure to enact immigration reform, without giving a direct answer to Russert's question. She soon found herself besieged by nearly everyone onstage, all eager to take the front-runner down a peg. It was the first time in a dozen debates that Hillary tripped up. At the very moment when we were arguing that she was nothing more than a status quo Washington politician, her awkward evasions and the critical commentaries that ensued buttressed our case." Axelrod: Clinton "Was Too Much A Part Of The System In Washington Ever To Change It- And Without Changing The Politics Of Washington, Real Solutions To Big Problems Would Never Come." "With one ad-libbed comment, Hillary had identified the main fault line of her campaign. She was too much a part of the system in Washington ever to change it- and without changing the politics of Washington, real solutions to big problems would never come."
