I think we might have a new meme:
>Canidae gets raped
>>
>>4962328
Well if you're looking for the in-depth ins and outs, I'd probably suggest getting one of Scott McCloud's books.

Otherwise, I'd suggest getting used to doing two things.
One, if you're going to be the writer, make sure to write out everything first as a script, both because that's industry standard, but also because it's easier to identify what works and doesn't before you commit it to drawings.
And two, when getting down to drawing the actual art, make sure to do a layout thumbnail sketch first on another piece of paper, as like with the script phase, it'll allow you to identify how the finished product should look like and prevent trainwrecks.

>Nick and Judy sat in silence after the bunny kits calmed down.
>Suddenly, Nick stretched and broke the silence, "So when are you heading back to BunnyBurrow?"
>Judy turned to Nick in surprise, "Wait, what? Why would I head back there?"
>Nick gave Judy a look as if her question was ridiculous, "Well, you need help raising the kits, your family has plenty of spare rooms, and you would have not only your parents but your entire family to help you."
>Judy's jaw was wide open, trembling before she replied, "B-but what about the ZPD?"
>"You won't be able to go back to the ZPD anyway because of maternity leave, as well as raising the kits as a single mother."
>Judy turned away, "I was hoping you would help me raise them..."
>Nick let out a snort, "Listen Carrots, I love you. I really do. But you don't love me, so why should we raise them together if we aren't actually together? We don't want to give the kits the wrong idea of seeing me as their father when I won't be, legally or biologically."
>"B-but in the future I could love you..."
>"'Could' being the key word."
>Judy bit her lip as she tried to find a counter argument but could find none, "I'll leave this weekend."
>"I'll help you pack, this is the best for the kits."

I had too much fun writing this. Not the whole "finding a father" but eh.

Basically a few threads back there was talk about how the story "Old-Fashioned Disaster" (drunk Judy cheating on Nick) would continue, and it resulted in the idea of Nick asking for a new partner after breaking up with Judy, getting reassigned to Fangmeyer, and big tigress comforts small emotional Nick.

So WildeMeyer.
>>
>>4962794
it was made in response to Old-Fashioned Disaster. So best of a bad situation.
Judy gets drunk and cheats on Nick
Nick dumps her ass and requests a new partner
Assigned to Fangmeyer (tigress)
She notices him doing really self-destructive things
In the process of saving him from himself, she falls for him

Hi, Zootopia General. I recently read Comicanon's review of Weaver's "Pack Street Stories". In his review he invited critique and discussion for feedback to help the writer improve (something Comicanon seems to feel strongly about). I didn't agree with some of his assessments and I also didn't agree with the way in which he reviewed the story, so I'm hoping to offer a rebuttal to some of that here.

Anyway, here's wonderwolf.

We're getting REBUTTALS now? THIS IS AWESOME.

I think it's important to remember that not all critique is based on 'quality', like, it can just be preference. For example a lot of people (readers and writers alike) enjoy leaving unexplained threads at the end to invite discussion, while others like to have everything answered neatly.

Still, you're awesome!

Hey, I have a question for the super fans. Earlier in the movie Judy calculates that Nick must be making considerable amounts of money from his schemes (she overly estimates for dramatic effect, but it would probably still be in the hundreds of thousands). So how come in this scene he's living under a bridge? Did he blow all his money on hookers and booze?

Maybe that place is sentimental for him, so he was just hanging there. He most likely isn't homeless, as tax evasion saves you a fair amount of money.

Personally, I believe he has an actual apartment or he just crashes with Finnick or some other friend. But the bridge made a much better setting for their heart-to-heart than his (potential) apartment would have.

So yeah, my thought is he sends it to Mom.

>Canidae had won, Swinton has lost, and now Stevens was her aide.
>Turns out he was actually attached to the mayoral position itself, not to Swinton.
>Canidae never asked and Stevens never bothered to correct her.
>But none of that mattered right now as Stevens reamed Canidae's throat as she lay on her back atop her desk.
>After too long her blew his load down her throat. After a few humps to make sure his cock was clean he pulled out and lifted Canidae up.
>As she started to cough and choke Stevens patted her roughly on the back.
>"Too rough?" Asked Stevens..
>"Of course it's too rough." She coughed a wad of cum into her hand then promptly smeared it into Steven's fur. "Else I wouldn't have almost choked to death."
>"Maybe we should return to something gentler?"
>"Fuck that. I don't need gentle after a day dealing with the idiots who think they deserve this city. I need something which hurts, burns, makes me feel pain and sets my cunt aglow with pleasure!"
>"As you say- Mayor."
>"You're dismissed Stevens, go back to wherever it is you live." As Stevens began to clothe himself Canidae went up to him, held his paw in both of hers and said, "Thank you Stevens. Well and truly for all you have done for me."
>Stevens gave a slight smile, "I wouldn't have survived five Mayors if I couldn't meet each and every one of their expectations."
>Stevens went home and Canidae finished off and started a few pieces of paperwork, and when she went to sleep she imagined Stevens fucking her properly, the way she wanted it.
>Rough but caring. Domineering without disrespecting. And after he came and she came they would snuggle in her bed until the sun came up.
>And she could ignore that such a perfect world could only exist in her dreams.

I'm really glad you said all this, because it mirrors my sentiments exactly. Comicanon's "critiques" come off as weird, cloying, pseudo-roleplaying weirdness that contains virtually no actual critique or literary insight.
It's written in this really bizarre fashion that's both knee-jerk and bland, like he's too busy making a spectacle of his own commentary to actually say anything worthwhile.

So I agree with everything you said, especially that bit at the end: we need less "Oh snap!" and "Remmy is angry!" and more actual insight and discussion like we get only at the very tail end of things. Give us less of you pretending to be cut off mid sentence and emoting gasps while pretending you haven't read the story already and focus on actual commentary.

I really hope Comicanon sees this.
Don't think of it as a takedown, more of a reality check or a refocusing.

One reading says that this sane and consensual.

The other reading says that she holds Gazelle in such high graces that she finds it hard to obect to anything she says. For example, if Gazelle was to say "Hold this dildo inside yourself for your next conference." Canidae would not want to do it because that conference is really important to her campaign but does it anyway because it was Gazelle to told her to do it.
And once Gazelle sees that Canidae has done that she'll be encouraged to do more extreme things unaware that Canidae desperately want to say no.

And all this could've been avoided if only Canidae used her words.

Just finished going over this a few times, and wanted to say thank you. When I posted it, I was hoping that Weaver would be able to attract this sort of feedback for his story, but you were very kind enough to give feedback on my critique at the same time. This is immensely helpful, and I really appreciate the time and effort you took to make this.

Thank you.

>>4964394
Nothing to hate about it: this is really incredible stuff.

>>4965265
I guess the one thing I'll offer in defense is that I'm not trying to roleplay. The idea behind adding things like "Oh snap!" and "Remmy is angry!" comes from how I do playtests for video games: I'd rather have running commentary than silence, even if its surface level "I'm having fun" or "I enjoy the background music" because it gives me something-- anything. In that way, I thought it might be useful to an author to hear when emotions in the reader change, what their reactions are, how they perceive the characters, etc.

I didn't mean for it to come off as annoying or weird, but then again, what its done is put myself in front of the work rather than highlight the work itself. It was never my intention-- if anything, that was the opposite thing I've been wanting to do--, but its definitely how it comes across.

It's not a takedown, its immensely helpful for me to learn to be a better reader: just like you couldn't get better writing without doing it and getting feedback on your work, you can't do anything without diligent practice and feedback from those further along than you. That's why I always appreciate writers like Raccoon who talk to me about my readings of their work, and I always love seeing Heavy and Clunky and Canidae's reviews.

If I keep doing this for a few years, and I keep getting feedback, then I'll be better than how I am now. That's always been my goal, and I'm always really grateful for moments like these.

My guess is he does have an apartment, probably the same kind as in Protozootopia. Or maybe a little bit nicer, but my guess is he's still poor.

From all the money he is making, there is a decent bit going to just savings since, well, he doesn't really have a retirement fund. So one logical answer could be that he sends his money to his mother, but even then that would still leave quite a bit unaccounted for.

I'm convinced the writers didn't quite think about that all the way.

Hi, Comicanon. I'm the anon who wrote the rebuttal. I'm glad you received it in the spirit it was intended - not as a character assassination or a harsh condemnation of your work. You provide a service here and there was plenty of good and valid critique I agreed with in your review. I appreciate you for taking the time to read it and reply, and I appreciate the effort you put into going through work bit by (VR)bit to help improve. Nobody's gonna take that away from you.

>In that way, I thought it might be useful to an author to hear when emotions in the reader change, what their reactions are, how they perceive the characters, etc.
Sure. And in your defense nobody wants to do a legitimate blind read as they're reading a new chapter of a fanfic for the first time, so I can't fault you. It's just a limitation of the format you chose.

Either way, keep up the good work, and again, thanks for being so easygoing about it. Hope you have a comfy evening.

Hey Comic! I think even the review process is up to personal preference.

Some authors are going to like seeing the minutiae of a reader's thought process throughout.

At the same time, that minutiae may not be particularly helpful to others reading the critique with it included.

As always, you have so many different ways to do things and so many different ways people are going to like things done you're never going to get a consensus.

Let me be didactic and share for a sec.

Passive versus active learning: There are people who prefer one or the other. Being told the answer vs. finding it. Is more suggestive, question based feedback too open-ended for those who prefer to learn passively? Or is directive feedback too constricting for actively-minded writers? This illustrates the "can't please everyone" point.

In the field of writing instruction, there is a general consensus that students (or fic writers in this case) do benefit from a bit of a less is more approach. Just on an anxiety level, more than 3 comments per page can look so overwhelming to the creator that they shut down before they even start reading.

There is also literature that supports the idea of sharing your thought process as a reader throughout the work, but with a certain degree of restraint as above. Have a conversation with the author rather than telling.

Another point to consider is higher order concerns vs. lower order concerns. Things like grammar and punctuation are considered lower order, while things like paragraph structure, organization, and flow are higher order. Generally, you don't want to focus on lower order stuff at all - it turns you into an editor rather than someone teaching or critiquing.

In addition, end notes are commonly agreed upon means of summarizing key points of the critique and areas to be improved. Typically 2-3 paragraphs is enough here.

I'm not saying that any of our reviewers are good/bad, just sharing this stuff with the thread.

Keep at it guys!

pic related is an example

I run the ThreadJournal (which has been lacking lately, sorry), and thought a fun way to fill out the Content Creator section was to do little interviews with them in-thread.
This would served to show the CCs appreciation for their work, allow anons to follow along and hear from their favorite CCs, lesser-known CCs to step up and be recognized, and provide more accurate information for the ThreadJournal.

However it seems I've upset a number of anons along the way, and don't think I'll be doing very many more interviews; CCs seem reluctant to be interviewed, and the thread reactions have been less than friendly.

I just thought it'd be fun, along the same vein as TT.

I never had a problem with them. I mean, people are bound to get pissy, and some less favorable reactions are more then likely directed at the content creator and not yourself. Which is something you really can't help.

Even if you interviewed Weaver you'd still get some people upset.

Just keep doing it, you aren't hurting anyone and you aren't taking up any sort of 'precious space'

Since Judy presumably moved back in with her parents after she left the force, she presumably lost the lease on her apartment since she wasn't living there anymore.

I wonder if she ended up crashing with Nick at his apartment for a while until she could find a new place?

In hte wise words of Danny Sexbang:

This is incredible: I never thought there'd be so many people willing to help me learn how to give feedback!

I definitely don't want to get into the habit of telling people how to write their stories: I feel like what I should be pointing out problems rather than offering solutions, both because I don't want to take away the creative authority away from the writer, and I feel like if this was something they wanted, they could ask the threads and it'd be collaborative in that way.

Maybe I can restructure how I do recorded blind reads... I used to offer straight read throughs, but they were never a popular choice and I kind of forgot to ask people if they prefer them. I could read the story blind and point out grammar or spelling or punctuation mistakes as they come, but pause and take the time to write out my feedback to be more concise and pointed rather than ramble-y and on the spot... That'd take out the "Comicanon talks to himself for 15 minutes before figuring out what he's trying to say" portion that stinks up a lot of the feedback.

It depends on how long Judy was gone from Zootopia. How long do you think she spent out back in BunnyBurrow? The general thought is about a week. Some spin the idea that Judy would still technically have until the end of the month for her apartment.

Also, if we are to believe that Nick was telling the truth on his tax forms of at least his address, he doesn't live in an apartment as the apt section is left blank.

Step on down and answer some questions!

Who are you? What should we know about you and what you've contributed?

How long have you been here?

What is your association with other content creators? Have you collaborated with anyone? Any parodies?

What was the original inspiration for the otter? Is it an interpretation of you, or an autonomous mammal?

What is your favorite green you've made? Which was the most fun to make/best received?

Will PapaFranku ever return to his home dimensions, or will he be forever trapped in the rice fields?

Are you the anon who did the 150-page doujin scan last week? What is the scanning process like for you?

(I'm legally obligated to include this last question for public safety purposes):
In the past three months, have you at any time been approached by a strange antelope and, if so, did he threaten you with shears or attempt to coerce you into sexual acts of deviancy?

It's a different kind of hell for me. Even once he stops the Judy is Dead timeline and goes back to contemporary wildehopps, which he says he is going to do, everything afterwards will, in my mind, be tainted by JID unless he states otherwise somehow, explicitly or implied. Nick and Judy having good times in a park? For all I know she'll be dead next week and we go along with the morbid timeline. Having a nice dinner together? She might be dead soon and the rise of Chief Wilde begins.

It's dumb but I cannot get it out of my head.

According to Moore, Judy was in Zootopia for the majority for those three months, going back to BunnyBurrow at the end of that.

On a side note: the three months always amused me in a way. I somewhat refuse to believe that Judy didn't go to find Nick during that time to either apologize or talk to him. Either she didn't go searching for him for some reason (not knowing what to say maybe?) or she did and Nick basically went into hiding.

I guess that makes sense, albeit being pretty plot-convenient, that she doesn't go see him til she has the answers.

You can see it in the apology scene that she doesn't begin to apologize at first; she comes to him with the truth of Night Howlers and expects him to be like "Wow, Judy! Let's hurry up and finish the case!"

He probably thought she was just there to give him some closure on their past adventure. Nick probably couldn't imagine that someone cared about him enough to ask for his forgiveness.

I like the little comments. Its a good indicator of whether or not the reader is interpreting the story in the way the author intends. If the reader misses the more subtle aspects of a given part of the story, there is no way for the author to see that in a critique given at the end, and if the reader gets lost, the constant notes will show when and where it occurred.

>Nick probably couldn't imagine that someone cared about him enough to ask for his forgiveness.

The best part is the fact that Judy didn't ask for his forgiveness, because she thought what she did was so horrible it could never be forgiven. She only asked for his help so she could do right by him and all predators, then he could continue on hating her despite how much it clearly hurt her to think that.

It is still an interesting thing to see that Nick decided to forgive her and help her three months afterward, and held onto the pen for that long. He could have completely given up hope, said "Fuck it, time and time again no one will see me more than a fox so why should I help?" Instead, when Judy comes back to him and shows how much she cares, he turns around and goes back to being her friend.

Side note: looks like I have something to work on besides cleaning up "Drying Off" as a fanfic. "Meme Fashioned Meme" here I come!

>Who are you? What should we know about you and what you've contributed?

I mostly go by Bread-kun, otter man who's only real claim to fame is scanning of numerous doujins. And filthy frank readings late last night.

>How long have you been here?

Since about late May. I only lurked and greentexted back then.

>What is your association with other content creators? Have you collaborated with anyone? Any parodies?

I'm associated with one. I did in fact meet with Comic-anon several times, including a trip to disneyland that we recapped about a week ago. And much lesser known is I ended up working close to where Labjer lives and so I have met him before, too. No collaborations.

>What was the original inspiration for the otter? Is it an interpretation of you, or an autonomous mammal?

I ended up rolling an otter. Honestly I was hoping to be a trash panda but, I was happy to get a slippery tube dude. I'd say probably a form of interpretation at this point, I haven't really done anything with him to be on his own, just get some art pieces.

>What is your favorite green you've made? Which was the most fun to make/best received?

I haven't done one in a while (Though I do intend to change that). I do remember writing up something about Nick and Judy trying bondage for the first time, it's archived somewhere.

>Will PapaFranku ever return to his home dimensions, or will he be forever trapped in the rice fields?

That would indeed be me. I've done image dumps in thread, that 1 doujin which I had linked to, and one other Zootopia doujin that I didn't dump but is floating around.

>In the past three months, have you at any time been approached by a strange antelope and, if so, did he threaten you with shears or attempt to coerce you into sexual acts of deviancy?

They never actually said that anything other than mammals are intelligent. They left that part vague in case they change their mind either way later, because it wasn't important to the first movie.

Obviously they don't have flocks of birds in the city like we have in ours, but it's plausible that there's a technological reason for that. Birds would be dangerous to small rodents, so they have some kind of virtual barrier that deters birds from flying near the city.

Not only would something like a hawk be a major threat to all sorts of small animals, but even a pigeon attacking a mouse to steal a bag of groceries would be reason enough for them to want to deter wild birds from being in the city.

Word of god says that birds and reptiles have their own cities, but from what we saw in the movie that doesn't have to be the case. The movie doesn't say either way what reptiles and birds are like in this world or where they live.

Here you go! Part one of my glorious odyssey

It he was cold. No he wasn't cold, cold was when your blanket was too thin a breezy day. This was mid winter with no wool cold. In fact that what happened. Remmy's bonse shook and his teeth chattered. He should've never gone and moved to this god damned neighborhood. What part of drugging his cereal and shaving him was a prank and not a felony?

"Motherfuckers the whole lot of em." He grumbled to to the thin air.

He knew if any of them heard him say it they'd comeback with some witting saying fitting of a slice of life comic strip. He always found it weird how everything etheir ended really depresing or what could only be described as comfy. No mellow goodbyes or simple parting of ways. There was always a revelation about Al's past or god forbid a cuddle pile. Something always seem odd about it.

so i realized i can't write a plot but i like writing small interactions with little to no significance.

>Judy laid on top of him, her paws grasping at his velvet like fur while she nuzzled his chest and took deep on his scent.
>Nick just watched the mesmerized rabbit intently, his claws working small circles on the rabbit's back making her shiver. 'What did i do to deserve her,' he thought as he leaned forward and kissed her in between her ears and then rested his muzzle on top of her head.
>Her paws moved across his body, making small stops here and there, taking her time to explore every inch of the fox she was in love with.
>Eventually her paws drifted towards his muzzle, cupping it and gently guiding it lower until their noses touched and their sights crossed.
>Both were lost in each others eyes. Hers more beautiful than any amethyst, His more alive than any field. Both just watched in silence, every second feeling as precious as a life time.
>Eventually reality crept back, Nick reluctantly broke the silence and gave her a quick kiss. "Land to carrots. We need you back on earth."
>"Shhh, earth can wait," She said as she rested her head on his chest. "Besides, we still have about half an hour together," She shook her hips slightly making Nick moan in delight. "You made sure of that."

so that's what you get, small interactions with little to no significance.

>The fox followed her lead and he couldn't avoid it. It wasn't the fact that she had grabbed his tie and was pulling him along, he actually enjoyed the little display of possessiveness though that he would never tell her.
>"Nick, Come on! We are gonna be late," she bellowed while tugging at his tie. "Take it easy, fluff. You weren't this eager to go a few minutes ago," his response came as a smug grin formed on his face.
>The bunny came to a sudden halt, her ears shot straight up as she felt the heat of her blush; She spun around to glare at the fox only to find his muzzle mere inches from her own. She Froze.
>The grin on the fox grew wider, a hint of white fangs showing, a low growl followed as he closed the gap and placed a single peck on top of her nose before he started to walk past the bunny.
>"Come on, Carrots. if you keep standing around we are gonna be late!" The dumbfounded bunny brought a paw up to stop her nose that was twitching uncontrollably. She spun around with a hop, a smile on her face as she followed after the fox.
>The bunny followed his lead and she couldn't avoid it. It wasn't because she had to but because she wanted to. Her paw took on his and they went on their way.

maybe more later(don't count on it)

Seven little carnivores cuttin' up their tricks,

One got fuddled and then there were three;

Three little carnivores out on a canoe,

I think it's not about you putting yourself in front of the work or vice-versa, it's more that your commentary should focus on the work as a piece, rather than on the diegesis. Such considerations are important to make, sure: who's a jerk, who seems friendly, who's made a dumb or hypocritical decision. But it's also important to talk about the work itself, the insight various lines give you, the language used, etc.

Your commentary at the end was the best part of the whole thing, because you really dug into the meat of the story, its message, its presentation, etc.
The rest of it felt less like you were responding to the work and more like you were responding to the characters within the work. Don't admonish Remmy for making a bad choice, delve into what that choice says about him or his priorities. Don't merely gasp when a reveal is made, consider the method and presentation of the reveal.

You have some really good commentary in you, and it shows by the end, but I think that's what you should focus on. There's no harm in saying how something made you feel, but there has to be more than that for a literary response.
>>
>>4970191
And just to clarify, I do like the running commentary/interspersed comments. I'm not saying you should pile it all on at the end. It's the content, not the syntax, that I'm talking about.

I like to think of it this way: we can't help but compare hooved animals because we have thumbs and it's hard to imagine trying to operate without them. But what are we missing that other animals have, that if we did, we wouldn't be able to imagine not having? Like maybe a fox's sense of smell telling them where things are, or a bat's echolocation.

So let's take a look.

>Ten little carnivores standin' in a line,
>One found a gun and then there were nine;
Suicide by gun. Evidently, Al. Too much grief, guilt, thoughts of wasted life/what could have been.

>Nine little carnivores swingin' on a gate,
>One tumbled off and then there were eight.
Death by accident: someone takes a fall off a roof? Probably Marty. Fragile.

>Eight little carnivores dreaming of heaven.
>One went to sleep and then there were seven;
Sounds like suicide by pill/poison? My money's on Ozzy for this one. Especially with "The Long Slow Goodbye". One last curtain call for the performer, and then a long rest for a weary soul.

>Seven little carnivores cuttin' up their tricks,
>One broke her neck and then there were six.
Likely another death by accident. Female. First line suggests while doing something shady. Probably Avo by process of elimination.

>Six little carnivores all alive,
>One lost her con and then there were five;
Arrest/murder. Female. My money's on Charlie: without Ozzy to keep an eye on her she hustles the wrong mark and pays for it.

>Five little carnivores on a cellar door,
>One tumbled in and then there were four.
Another accident. Possibly industrial? Sounds like Rex is a good bet.

>Four little carnivores out on a spree,
>One got fuddled and then there were three;
Fuddled = drunkenness. Remaining Pack Streeters go out drinking, someone never goes home. Accident/alcohol poisoning/arrest. My money's on Betty, I could see her drinking herself to death.

>Three little carnivores tried to make do,
>One was caught with a girl and then there were two.
Sounds like imprisonment, probably for statutory. Smart money's on Wolter.

>Two little carnivores out on the run,
>One met the fuzz and then there was one;
One last blaze in the face of misery. Anneke gets arrested/takes suicide by cop.

>One little carnivore livin' all alone,
>He got married
>and then there were none.
Remmy lives. Goes on to a life of quiet domesticity.

Wait girlfriend? He barely knew anything about her. But he'd slept with her multiple times. But then why did he have the memory of him marrying charlie? Marrying carlie? What a ridiculous notion. He's only lived here for... How long had he lived here?

He searched his thoughts ts but could only summon conflicting reports. Did he live alone? What was his job? Who was he going out with? His head hurt and he felt weaker and faint.

Actually I had tried to show it from the very beginning, whenever it would be visible. I guess I just didn't do a very good job. Or really doing just about any common human task requires at least an opposable thumb.

Betty spied on the shivering ram. She felt a sense of guilt over the shaving. Mostly because she had not even a scarf to show for her efforts. But still the ram was cold and needed her help.

She crept through the apartment silently. And then she pounced. Her massive weight slamed into Remmy bathing him in warmth and a massive amount of muscle.

He didn't even bleat he just looked up and said.

"Where are we?"

And Betty's world shattered with the realization.

Honestly, I am not sure of how I am going to end it. I am more or less writing it with two certain themes in mind, Judy learning the lesson that "there are some mistakes you can't fix" and Nick learning to believe in himself and his morals, rather than being somewhat dependent on someone else believing in him. If I end it with WildeHopps, it would be after years pass in the story and the two characters "growing up" so to speak. I am leaning towards a WildeHopps friendship ending.

You're right.

I was hoping that the interspersed comments would be more a barometer for how the story pushes and pulls the reader. Like a playtest, I'd hope that a person would tell me if this section makes them feel one way or another: if they feel scared during a funny section, I know I'm not hitting the mark somewhere in that level.

Instead, I ended up writing something like a transcription of that annoying friend-of-a-friend who doesn't shut up during a movie. If I had taken all that stuff out, it would have been better, directed, concise information for the author. I'm grateful for everyone pointing this out.

I appreciate your feedback, anon. With your help, I'll be better at this, and for that I'm really thankful for what you said.

Found out the name of the news anchor: Fabienne Growley. Damn.. I don't suppose there are any fics about her.

Also, I just can't for the life of me like Jack Savage, or see him as anything other than a non-character and a cuck. I'm seriously trying to enjoy/root for some hypothetical ship or other involving him..

Again, I actually really like the way commentary is interspersed. I feel like it's much better to have an annotated review than anything. No one's saying you should lump it all at the end and drop the mixed in annoations.

And seriously, don't beat yourself up for it. I'm sure nobody here is gonna judge you or hold it against you, least of all Weaver.

She probably goes uncharacteristically quiet and flustered. Like, opening her mouth to ask/state something savvy, but ending up just closing her jaws again and fidgeting with something.
She'll keep this up for months, doing all kinds of small favours and kindnesses without even so much as a murmur.
For all her savvyness, smarts and wit, her words fail her when she's facing her future.

I actually work at Ubisoft and it's been nice seeing a resurgence in the playerbase since the new BattlEye system was implemented. The game was slowly dying down because of all the cheaters, but now it's actually our most popular game by a wide margin in terms of daily players.

The ridiculously quick time-to-kill in the game is by design (so I'm told), since the game is supposed to simulate high-stakes, fast-paced, live-or-die moments during the siege of a hostile location.

I suck total ass at the game and almost always am the first person on my team to die. But when you can get some friends together to play as a premade 5-man team, it's super fun to coordinate and strategize. I basically never play unless I can get at least 3 friends to play with me. Playing solo is just meh to me since randoms don't typically communicate enough to make it fun.

It's a fun game. But if I'm being honest, I only play it because I got it for free. I rarely, if ever, shell out $60 for a game. I got the Gold Edition along with all of the available DLC for free since I work there, so that was definitely a factor in my playing the game.

That is basically Jack's character in a nutshell, Savage is literally used when the author doesn't want to make some OC bunny as a love interest, so they use Savage who is also an OC bunny but with a set up physical description and the trait of being "SuperBunny". It is hard to care for him honestly because in the end, he is an OC of whatever the author wants to make him. The few other concept characters, such as Swinton and Honey, at least have a few other personality traits given to them. Jack Savage has nothing, and it is amusing to see him used as a stand in for any OC bunny, such as business bunnies or high school stuff.

Also Fangmeyer is female.

>Fangmeyer is female
>Really? Hot d-damn. How do we know this? The Zootopia wiki is frustratingly ambiguous!

To be honest, it's still unclear what Fangmeyer's gender is. We had to wait until the Case Files game to come out before we realized that Fangmeyer WASN'T one of the wolves.

Add to that on whether or not a lot of debate in the early days of these threads on whether the tiger (then known as Delgato) had feminine eyes/eye shadow or not.

For the sake for the ship's genesis, Nick getting cheated on by Judy from uzr's Old Fashioned Disaster fic and the desire for Nick to be happy after getting his heart broken, you got this.

I don't think anyone wanted to hook Nick up with Francine the elephant, so tiger is a tigress in this case.
>>
>>4971293

Rich tweeted that Fangmeyer was the tiger months before that.
