But I'm also 100% convinced that the dynamic between Finnick and Clawhauser would be hilarious. With that said, I would prefer if this happened in Zoot 3 or later. Zoot 2 should strickly be Nick and Judy, because we still haven't seen them work together fully as partners yet, now that Nick is also a cop. And I don't want other characters to steal the spotlight from that. It would also make room for some romance to happen between the duo. With that out of the way, then they can start focusing more on other characters. And again I would prefer those characters to be the ones they have already created e.g. Mrs. Wilde, Finnick, Bogo, Wolfard, Fangmeyer, Snarlov, etc. One of the biggest flaws, in my opinion, when it comes to animation sequels is that they keep adding more and more new characters into each subsequent sequel. When we get around to the 3rd or 4th movie, everything just feels so bloated. All the characters are more or less crammed together trying to get the spotlight, but in the end, we only get snippets from each one of them. The other issue is that most of these new characters are rarely interesting, to begin with, and it's mostly the original characters from the first movie we actually care about in the first place anyway.
