This is OzzySay something nice about him!
Tomorrow, at 6 pm Eastern, the Jackbox stream is finally coming back. That's in less than 23 hours! In your time zone: https://notime.zone/LdB4eCmA7KR0OOur first stop is an all-new custom episode of Quiplash.
>>22761605He's not in jail.
>>22761605You're great. Although I prefer you with a penis
>>22761605Trans Ozzy makes way too much sense and I am gonna headcanon that hard
>>22761587>Pie Knight"OH 'ELL FACKIN NO!"
>>22761677Same, he looks better this way.
>>22761959I really like his shaggy stripes. And shaggy everything. You know? He has the same sorta unkempt, disheveled cuteness that Remmy has.
>>22761677Ozzy is perfect no matter what
https://foxialist.tumblr.com/
>>22761865I hope we get a cool History TT entry from Spoofer, his buns in armor are so cute.
>>22761605desu i expected velvet to be the trans reveal but ozzy is fine too
>>22762188>>22762460>>22762474This is the content I come here for!
>>22761605>>22761677Who draws and posts this shit? It's awful!
>>22762795me
>>22762801You're AWFUL! Stop embarrassing yourself. Don't post that shit, anymore.
>>22762708Nah, Velvet's had her antlers and been referred to as a girl since she was a kid, I doubt she would've been on HRT thenOzzy makes much more sense though>>22762795Weaver
>>22762822>>22762708Yeah, and her admittedly bigoted brother was referring to her as his sister since she was like 5.I'm not against the theory, I just think it's more likely she's a doe with antlers, which can happen.I'm also pretty sure HRT would get rid of her antlers, considering their growth is triggered by a surge of testosterone.

Is it true Weaver is a female to male transexual? Asking for a friend
>>22762980Weaver is whatever gender they want to be
>>22762576
>>22763068Such a cute poss>>22763081Aw damn! Thank you Spoof, you're a true hero! Judy's with a torch and axe is damn neat. Is she a guard?
>>22763041that still does not answer the question
>>22762980It doesn't matter, anon. It's easier if you think of Weaver as a force.
>>22763106Dont worry about it
>>22763100Neither, she was supposed to be dancing, but then I saw your post and and just re purposed it
>>22763167I'll just say she's having a great time at her job.
>>22763145I am now satisfied
>>22762145Scraggly and disheveled guys are great in general.
>>22763081Nice TT entry Spoof. Always happy when you decide to jump in.
>>22763490This was more happy chance than anything ha ha
>>22763217Hey, you know what? You may be on to something.Every cute boy in this story is disheveled in some way. Al, Rex, Wolter. Those guys are all scruffy and a little messy.
>>22763691Does that make Don a cutie too then?his boyfriend is kinda cuter though and hes not very disheveled at all
>>22763745He'll win us all over in the next chapter if we see him crying over Dewey's scruffy hospitalised body
>>22763691I think it's mostlu because i lean more towards the wiry and scraggly guys, so i chalk this more because it being my tastes.>>22763745And yes, i do like Don along with the other guys in his pack. Like as in "think they look good" to clarify.
>>22763904I think it'll take more than just crying over his bf to win everyone overMaybe if they also had a passionate kiss...
>>22763928I appreciate this because too many people hyper focus on larger, fatter guys, it's nice to see the whole spectrum represented.>>22763937>>22763745>>22763904Don's crew is pretty scruffy.I'm hoping it comes down to some confrontation involving Pandora's own testimony if they visit her hospital room in the next part. I'm confident that telephone message will go a long way.

>>22764471Here we go
>>22762474Judy's tail is much fluffier than that
>>22764471You really shouldn't reply to the troublemakers. That only validates that their effort is paying off. Promote and encourage positive interactions, instead.
>>22764624do you think any mention of trans people is trolling, anon?
>>22764643It might as well be for all the shitposting it causes
>>22764624You really shouldn't reply to the troublemakers. That only validates that their effort is paying off. Promote and encourage positive interactions, instead.
>>22764624Also, if you didn't notice, neither of these ( >>22764415 >>22764419 ) are even remotely transphobicEver consider you might be the one replying to the troublemaker, anon?

>>22764777Deus Vulpes! The holy trinity has spoken! Someone must make it happen!
>>22764785Martina is just his sister anon
>>22764815Yeah, he'd have never invited Remmy to his and his sister barbecue if his sister wasn't real.It doesn't make sense to force events where you're both supposed to be present if there's really only one of you.
>>22764815Exactly. Any thoughts entertaining a different idea will be laughed off in a nervous, head sweatingly, panic attack-y way that is not suspicious in the slightest by him. He has nothing to hide. Martina did say that what you see is what you get from him, after all. We can trust "her" judgement! I do, at least.
>>22764852He's only nervous because you're a creep suggesting that he dresses up as his sister for sexual pleasure, anon

>>22761677It was a quiet night

I want Cliff, Neil, and Remmy to triple penetrate Ozzy
>>22765508>>22765294I love that Pack and Zoot has really given you a field to flex how good you are at writing relationships, Weave.I didn't see it enough previously, but damn. It's really grounded and sweet.
>>22766440He writes, like, two romantic relationships. Al/Velvet and Anneke/Wolter. Not really much to flex.
>>22766455shhhhhhhhhhhshhhh
>>22766455Do Cliff/Neil count?
>>22766478He was shitposting, anon, there's also Don/DeweyAnd since it was in reference to Zoot at large, messing with Judy/Nick and Nick/Honey that started the convo
>>22766490Im genuinely asking, how do people like their relationships? They don't get much focus but there's a few things that slip in here and there
>>22765294>I understood that reference
>>22766503
>>22766501I think the dialogue is very natural and the way they bounce off each other is very good. It's not a lot of focus overall, but it's basically 0-100 relative to previous works focus on canonical relationships.
he is happy for you
>>22766440Dialog-wise, Late Stake might be the best written porn comic I've ever read.

>>22766680Not just that, but no subsequent comic makes the porn take precedence over the characters. Take Burrow Sharing Policy, we never rush the actual characterization to get to the dicking.
>>22766659>>22766704Normally I'd fine you for awoo'ing in public... but I'll let it slide this timeWhat a happy doggo
>>22766659Gary is a precious awoo, would hug/10
>>22766754To be fair that's because Weaver basically doesn't put dicking in his porn. It's all just talking.
>>22766974Well shit then I like it.Though to be honest most of them aren't "porn comics" so much as they are nsfw comics, since the dicking is rarely on screen.Late Stake is a porn comic, Tiger Oil could be generally construed as one, since Remmy's masturbation is a core focus of it, even though no bits are ever actually shown. But I'd say the rest I can think of are generally just nsfw rather than outright pornographic.
>>22766659This is such a happy Wolf, i love it.Nice to see you again Skunkbutt.
>>22766659
>>22767035I love the care Dora gives to Remmy in that comic. She's clearly initially weirded out by his creepy forwardness of "I just really have to fuck you right now," like, ew, dude, did you actually just say that with complete seriousness in your voice? But then she takes care of him and it's oddly sweet and sexy how she helps him out.
>>22766659I'm happy to see you, SB.

>>22768774Afraid not Anon, most people here are against any kind of human in Zootopia type of thing.
>>22768802Mostly because we have taste
>>22768774Given the whole point of the movie was that there aren't any humans in the setting, most of the community, here and elsewhere, don't really do the Anon thing.Human x Zoot does exist, just don't expect it to be here; it gets (perhaps rightfully) meme'd to death.
>>22768776>She kinda looks male-ishAnd that's why I like it cause male and female zoots shouldn't look that different (except for a few background characters like the DMV pig and the elephant mother, who both had breasts). Even Avo looks sort of man-ish

Ah haha, janny deleted my thread on /v/.
You think mammals in the Zootopia universe pluck their whiskers, kind of like their version of facial hair, or do they just not have any?
>>22770400>pluck their whiskersIf they're real whiskers as per what animals in our real world have, of course they don't. It would cripple their sensory capabilities. Whiskers are highly sensitive, critical appendages for most animals to interact with their environment. Grooming them and keeping them in perfect working condition is a high priority.

>>22777626If she dies while moving does the animation halt her movement or does she continue forward?
>>22775771He might be my favorite character, actually.
>>22775771Marty is a more interesting character than people give him credit for, in terms of being outright protective, and aware of these issues. He's cynical as all hell, but in terms of starting awareness of Remmy, he's not wrong. Well, he needs to be moderated by someone like Betty to tone down some of his accusations, but I think Remmy could learn a lot from Marty.
>>22777445>Remmy goes to bug burga the next day.>Rex looks at his face and smirks, telling him he probably deserved it.>Remmy reels back in betrayal before Rex laughs and tells him he's just joking.>Remmy doesn't laugh.>Rex rings up his order without asking Remmy what he wants.>"Hey, wait! You didn't even ask me what I'm ordering!">"One double roach deluxe, skip the hay fries, go extra on the ketchup and a large soda. Oh, and you only order larges on bad days, and from the look of things..." He smiles, his smug attitude a huge contrast to his kind and almost noble demeanor.>"You're order three-twenty-two. Hi, may I take your order," he asks the man who impatiently pushes the injured ram out of the way to reach the asshole cashier.>It's clear to Remmy why Ozzy broke up with the badger now.
>>22778727WowwwThis was fun, though. I do like to picture how people would react to Remmy, though.I feel like he'd probably be bandaged/gauzed just after, but I wonder if Remmy would have a scar.Does anyone have art of Remmy with claw scars across his snout?
>>22778687I like him in the first chapter where Remmy meets Charlie. He's immediately accusing Remmy of all the wrong things while also being right about certain others.Things he gets wrong:>Remmy goes to his house to be nosy>Remmy is "self-aggrandizing" for trying to stick his nose in other people's business>Remmy went in to try and fuck Charlie>Remmy broke his door downThings he gets right:>Remmy thinks Pack is a bad place just because he comes from a neighborhood which looks nicer>Remmy doesn't like them just because he's scared of them and doesn't try to know them first>Remmy is self-aggrandizing because he would rather hide away instead of at least being civil>Remmy doesn't know shit about stoatsAnd Remmy's right about one thing here too, and it's that he did try to help out by seeing if anybody was home in case there was a burglary. And Marty responds by trying to bite his face. For a guy who's angry at somebody else for not treating them like non-hostile assholes, he's sure quick to act like a hostile asshole before thinking about anything else. It's all because Marty's been looked down upon by others his whole life, not just literally. He fixates on sheep culture and how they have great families and nice homes, good pedigrees, etcetera. But he doesn't know shit about Remmy either. He doesn't know what Remmy went through to end up there, and while he's not obligated to be civil to a self centered prick, he isn't entitled to fly off of the handle just because he doesn't like said prick either.
>>22778894Yeah, from Marty's perspective, he doesn't particularly care if he's wrong about 50% or even 75% of those accusations, because the things he's right about, or what Remmy even represents, are threats to his home. It's very easy to blow him off because he was wrong about some accusations, but fundamentally Remmy is speciest, and was a total prick for the first week before the fic started, so I don't think Marty is wrong in thinking he represents what's wrong with zootopian prey culture, especially during the savage crisis. From his perspective, Ozzy got jumped only a few weeks ago, and a walking reminder just came to his door. Or through it, as the case may be.
>>22778894>>22778949It's also worth pointing: out we learn later that Remmy's narration has holes in it. For example, when we the reader meet Al in Chapter 1, Remmy has *already* met him. He describes him from a few run-ins, but doesn't explain much of what those were like. The story doesn't cover every moment of Remmy's life on Pack Street and more and more we're seeing hints that he wasn't as harmless and inoffensive when he moved in as he says he was. Plus we get the comparison with Phil, the lone wolf, to show that the Pack *is* capable of leaving people alone, but Remmy may have gone past introverted and asocial and into the territory of (unintentionally) shitty behavior.
>>22779089Oh yeah, that's what I meant by Remmy being a prick for at least the first week, I think? He also makes bad judgements and the information we get from him is flawed. So far we know:Remmy is bad at judging speciesRemmy is bad at judging body typesRemmy is bad at judging agesRemmy is bad at judging people
>>22779089Honestly I still cringe reading the first few chapters.Just seeing Remmy being a total shit to these people we all grow to love.

>>22779605What's your reason for making Remmy a Cavalier?
>>22779605>The oracle bug burga badger, using his special deep frying techniques he can read glimpses of the future in the grease stains.
>>22779657Hell yeah Ozzy!
>>22778457atm, movement continues the the Y direction (up-and-down), but stops in the X and Z directions
>>22779690Remmy was a difficult choice, to be honest. But he has a number of stand-up traits that made cavalier a good choice. For one, he is consistently at his best when he is acting selflessly, because it works past his previous issues of being selfish (or at least self-centered) as Betty noted. That's been a notable trend of the last few chapters, he puts others first. First with Jam with the cop, and 'For a Friend' with Charlie, quite literally charging off (on an admittedly borrowed steed).Remmy has recently taken the initiative where he doesn't have to. He's taken his position as Omega seriously, whether approaching Al on the steps, or helping Wolter go to Bunnyburrow. And holding to others, showing solidarity with Pandora.Cavaliers are found advancing their cause directly, their power comes from the conviction of their ideals and their increasing willingness to put others first. The oaths they swear and the way they help their fellows, even if it means being a bit of a punching bag in combat.>This comic was also an inspirationYou don't have to stand your ground, as long as you Power Forward

>>22779866Well said. Fucking wow, dude. That was extremely convincing! Al's van as his borrowed steed is a hilarious and on point example. Cavalier Remmington, traveler from the Medowlands.
>>22779866Remmy's character arc is honestly the best thing about Pack Street. Thanks for putting a lot of thoughts into words better than I ever could.
>>22779605Now I wanna hear your reasons for making Wolter a Swashbuckler.
>>22780115Admittedly I was working with a limited set, Pathfinder (the setting I'm most familiar with, as well as the one with the most base classes) doesn't fit predominantly social classes that well, but!Wolter is, in my opinion, the most stable unappreciated member of the pack. Like his sister he's principled, rejecting anyone in bed who is even a year younger than him. He virtually never fights with people, Al noting that an argument between him and Annie is unheard of.But he's willing to still stand up for someone he recently met to someone he's known his entire life because he thinks he's right.Swashbucklers appear arrogant, maybe daring and perhaps all too devil-may-care, but underneath that there is a consistent, stable person. They're known for their humour and convincing personality, but they don't 'get lucky', they earn every step, and as a frequent dancer, so I feel like his footwork is probably pretty great.Wolter is there for his sister against the world, but he's his own person who puts himself out there for her, but also stands up when he think she's wrong. That's not easy for someone who has evidently faced a lot of hardship and rejection. >Don't let the swashbuckler's easy grin fool youIt's not a charmed life.
>>22780277(I also didn't want to put him and Annie in the same class, same as with Marty/Martina, Don/Dewey, or Cliff/Neil)

>>22779605Dewey must've been the hardest to pin down Im guessing? What made you decide investigator?
>>22780969I was debating between Vigilante for him or Martina, because it's the most 'civilian' class, but I settled on Martina deserving that one because it emphasizes her social role in supporting the community.>There's the added element of the joke that she has an alternate identity, even though I don't personally believe that theory.Dewey fit an investigator because of the first exchange we talked to him about.>Don glances over at Dewey, who's pulled his cell from his coat pocket and has it aimed at me. "Dewey? Don't.">"But--">"Don't," Don echoes, much more firmly. "Imagine if you were over off of Flock eating salad, and someone was doing that to you. Worse, imagine what the boss would say if she found out. We're not freelancers anymore."That was it:>We're not freelancers anymoreThis implied to me that they both held some kind of job that independently supports photographers, which are typically journalists, paparazzi or other various kinds of information brokers. In all cases, knowing things are the trade, and being in the right place at the right time is crucial.I suspect that may have played into Don being able to find out if he was looking into it (even if he leapt to conclusions), and all it took was one wrong place at the wrong time for Dewey.

>>22781291He drew the bird face, but derailed the rest of the round because the drawing took up the entire canvas, leaving little room for anyone else to add anything. We got creative. For example, Weaver (I think?) stuffed a bunch of fox tails in the mouth when the game prompted to add a tail to the picture.>>22781342Nah, no one's mad. That was great. Actually the most fun final draw I've played.
>>22781210Yeah, not necessarily formal PIs, but someone in information. The thing I've spent the most time debating is Pandora. I didn't wanna go the typical barbarian route, because the savage event was not -her-, so to speak.Vigilante was my highest consideration for her so it hints at a darker side to her without overshadowing her more mercantile, public-speaking element that is actually the Pandora we know and love. There's a few archetypes that would work, but I wanted to mostly focus on base classes. Prestige classes could work, though, hmm.

Genuinely curious:Do people unironically like Pack Street to the point of obsession, or is it some kind of joke?If it's really not, then what's with all the hype?
>>22782302Can rams play the guitar? I can imagine him being sad that he can't play pred rock music because of his limited appendages. Then again with a band named the "Ramboy Dukes" maybe there were actual hooved guitarists

>>22782347It's good and we don't disguise our love for it under layers of ironyPeople genuinely enjoy it and like to discuss it too
>>22782347The hype is that there isn't much else to fixate on. >>22782509Do you want an explanation or not?
>>22782519I've been asking for one this entire time
>>22782537So first of all, how familiar are you with Pack Street?
>>22782509Alright alright, it's a comedy and our main character is really standoffish and snarky in his narration but is also a giant pussy when talking to everyone. If you like fish it of water stories and suggestive humor as well as wholesome, then you'll like it. If not, then whatever. That's your opinion
>>22782548Alright, we're getting somewhere. Now, what makes it stand out from other fanfics that you've read?
>>22782537I'm going to assume you have no familiarity and are just seeing it pop up in the threads frequently. The attractive elements of Pack Street is that it takes the core element of Zootopia as a whole, the dichotomy and relationship between predator and prey species, and set that in a medium that the movie could not, in a flawed prey narrator perspective set in the heart of a lower income predator neighbourhood.Out of his element, and vulnerable to prejudices and fears, the main character, a very (not intimidating) hornless ram is left to navigate living in a community that is much more engaging and positive than he initially believes. The various characters are rough around the edges, but generally good people, and it all coalesces into a comfy slice of life fic about a guy who is finding his own place in a community that is very different from him.It emphasizes different is not bad, and finding your place in a really well-fleshed out community. The characterization is well-written, the development is basically textbook quality and the world building fits right in to the setting at large.
Weaver also unintentionally kept me from making the worst mistake of my life through Pack, so I am admittedly slightly biased towards it.

>>22782347>>22782396Worth noting the fanbase, at least by volume of pack street-adjacent discussion and material, is mostly here in the threads. It can seem more popular than it probably is overall.I found it an acquired taste I never acquired, mostly due to the unreliable first-person narration and very heavy use of ambiguity and slow payoffs. Not my cuppa, so I filtered it.
>>22783088It's also part of why the threads are alive, even if it isn't all of the threads. But yeah, it coalesces here and in a couple other spots. It's surprising how popular it is, even quietly, actually.

>>22783088>mostly due to the unreliable first-person narrationRemmy's not an unreliable narrator. His internal monologue is heavily biased when it comes to interpretation but it's not like he's telling you things that didn't happen.
>>22783241Thank you Mr. Mouse.(Or Ms. Mouse, i don't know.)
Alright, fine. I wasn't going to say anything but people have been fonning over it so hard someone has to say it.Weaver is a bad writer. Roomates is written good because Weaver had someone else write all the dialog for him. Look at Late Stake or The Slodhed Fox for how his dialog normally is. Forced, doesn't make sense, etc But Pack Street is written good. So what does that tell you?Weaver has Otterly helping him write Pack Street, namely all the dialog. But he doesn't give him credit. This isn't a conspiracy theory, Weaver admitted it on his server but has sense deleted the post. I think Otterly may also have been Pokemaniac (author who "co-wrote" but actually full-wrote Roomates) and they just moved on to a new work to help make Weaver's writing look like not shit.Weaver has made it clear he can't write and he shouldn't be getting all the credit for what is so clearly not even his own work.
>>22783156>>22783243>posts to hereYeah, I think it's more a case of, those that have read it, from whatever other fandoms they frequent, find ztg the more central place to interact with like minded people.Roommates is equally as good, but has had it's own thread to post in, although I know a lot of those here have crossed between the two.ZNN <https://www.zootopianewsnetwork.com/> is a bit SFW and kid friendly, but also very WildeHopps centric, so you don't see a lot of reference there.(has a look and sees a Borba update, WTF?)
>>22783416>>22783088Remmy as a flawed narrator is one of my favourite parts, it helps you look back on everything you thought you knew and re-evaluating it.Remmy jumps to conclusions (like with the pillow), he makes lots of false judgements (people's species, ages, body types, character), etc. That's really hard to do well and I love it when it is.
