Because the person I opened up about, that used to work as a prison nurse, that I was raped as a kid, may have had the empathy, but not the experience to understand that I never want anyone else to go through what I did. He just took what I said and just immediately told me the worst thing to me; that sex offenders get specifically targeted to be some piece of shit's bitch. When you're that weak and vulnerable, that you're exposing your worst fear or your worst experience, it kind of takes both Empathy and Wisdom. Because you're opening up about this horrible thing and half of it is that it terrifies you because you don't know how you can stop it.
