Desperately trying to get out from between what he is and what he wants, when he's getting a little bit of truth from everything he's done, and everyone around him with all their frustration. I guess I'm trying to make an unsympathetic person valid enough to be understood beyond what he appears to be. Trying to figure out himself and the world around him enough to challenge it. Comic's compared him / Kitsunegari to The Invisible Man, and I haven't read it, but... After I'm done with this story, I will. Beyond that, without having watched any of his movies, I think I'm going for the same thing Charlie Kaufman realizes in his movies. And a lot of my favorite movies are like Jacob's Ladder and Dark City.Beyond that, a few of my characters are not as completely fleshed out as I'd like them to be. But.... Not to cut myself any slack, when I'm knowingly punching so high up above my own weight class, but... This is my first story. And, rather than for anyone else (This is probs never gonna be as pop as zistopia), I think I need to finish this story more for myself than anyone else. It's why I haven't given up, after writing it for two and a half years.
