Reposting for the new thread! Its Thematic Thursday!Guilty Pleasures Edition! In a city where its easy to stereotype mammals, you might feel pressure to put your best paw forward when it comes to presenting yourself to others. Have you ever feigned interest in a book that you've never read just because you wanted to seem smarter? Have you ever put on classical music like Meowtzart to seem refined? Have you ever sat through a Jodoromousky movie you didn't understand and tried to seem cultured by saying you really liked the director's sense of 'mice on scène'?Well don't you worry, because now you're all alone and you can indulge in your favorite superhero comics, sing Gazelle at the top of your lungs and watch the latest Fast and Fur-ious movies with nobody judging you!Nobody... except yourself. So what sort of guilty pleasures might we see today? Does Judy find out she actually really likes dressing up cute? Is the reason Duke only pirates animated kits movies because he loves princess films? Does Remmy eat at Bug Burga? Let's find out!I'm judge VRbit, and court is now in session. If I find your TT submission pleasurable, you're guilty!I think that's how the law works. Good evening folks, 8Ball here. Pleased to see TT's going well, unfortunately I don't have something lined up for that as my last big project was a horror themed thing.Instead I'll take some requests I find appealing, but before I do I did have a few ideas in mind for another 'big' greentext thing. I'll post em and see what people have to think about them>Multiverse Remmys; Remmys from across the different universes all come together in one Pack Street to generally be intrusive and annoying>Pack Street: Alpha and Omega Stories; Big inspiration from GTA, Al and Remmy must tangle with criminals, crooked cops, and the diminishing trust the Pack has for them once they're pulled unwillingly into the underbelly of Zootopia>The Black Hunger: Documentary style piece detailing the background that surrounds Rats in the modern era and what distinguishes them from other rodents>A Tube and his Bun; Duke and Judy meet at a gloryhole and have lots of unprotected sex

>>15414483Works building, history, and a documentary style. Could make it like a Zootopia history channel thing, or even a radio play and get comic and miw to do stuff with it.

>>15414483The Black HungerZootopia never began as a City for everyone, it's origins as neutral ground did not extend to other Mammals initially. It's historical significance, while undisputed, does not take away from the fact that there was a world beyond it in which time and the Mammals living in it marched forward. Over time the City's borders grew, as did it's population. Though built on the water that could only feed a limited percentage of it's people, hence the need for a stable reliable food source. It's theorized Zootopia was one of the first populated centers which sparked an agricultural revolution to sustain, a far cry change from the largely nomadic lifestyles nearly all Mammal species lived.Time was needed for relations from species to species to change, as many Predator species still saw Prey as food or other Predators as competition. The same could be said for Prey, who deemed any other species a threat. This attitude of competing species sets the backdrop for the topic for today. A part of history many would like to forget and many more can't afford to. The Black Hunger is both considered to be a period of time in history as well as an active condition found in a very specific group of Mammals. The condition, with some exceptions, is present in almost every modern day species of Rats, as well as some Mice. Little Rodentia, while the name might imply otherwise, does not actually have a large population of Rats living among them (according to a 2014 Census). Quite the contrary where only a fraction of a percentage of the total population was any species of Rat. This is large in part both due to the condition, the misconceptions surrounding it, and Rat culture as a whole. Detailed here will be a comprehensive history of The Black Hunger, with accounts never before heard by the public. In thanks to the French and Austrian Museums of Mammalian History. For the sake of preserving historical accuracy, viewer discretion is advised
>>15413154>>15413077Good stuff.
Alright, so, quick question. I'm revising the final version of my TT submission, and the long and short of it is that someone's experiencing side effects after recovering from being Night Howlered. The side effect is that they've developed a taste for food that struggles as it's being eaten, which is where "guilty pleasure" comes in. They indulge this by eating a live chicken. I just need to know who I should make the character. I've been going with Pandora so far but I've been thinking about maybe switching her out for someone else. Just don't know who.
>>15415854who else has been Night Howlered?if not Pandora then its a random character really
>>15415854>I just need to know who I should make the character. I've been going with Pandora so far but I've been thinking about maybe switching her out for someone else. Just don't know who.Chief Bogo

>>15415890>who else has been Night Howlered?if not Pandora then its a random character reallyYeah, figured I'd at least ask incase there was an OC or something that I hadn't heard of. Pandora will do though.>>15415962Don't think I'll go with Bogo for the submission but there's the possibility of a meme edit in the future.
>>15412470i want to blow a raspeberry on his belly and then pet him
>>15415983Manchas is one idea, but I'm still leaning more in Dora's direction.
>>15415999personally i think just a random night howler victim would be much better, but you do you i guess. i think it could stand on its own with your concept. doesnt need to be dependent on pack street characters.
>>15415772Am excitedHow long you think this will be?
>>15412470
>>15415772To better understand the condition itself, one must first understand the species the condition afflicts. Rats are a social species of Rodents who primarily live in subterranean burrows. By daytime they remained underground, sleeping or maintaining their home whereas by night, they would venture above ground under the cover of dark. Rats in the modern era largely remain nocturnal, a remnant of this preference. In those days Rats, much like other small Mammals, were not actually thought of as intelligent by larger Mammals, only those they interacted with would know that they were indeed intelligent and organized. In those early days the threats Rats faced on a day by day basis kept their numbers under control, as they were and remain a fast reproducing species who's populations could rise and fall quickly should resources be in excess or scarcity. Not unlike any other species of that distant era I admit but this will be a key thing to remember later.Lagomorphs, much like the Rats, also lived in burrows then. It was not unheard of for one's burrow to breech into another's home. Competing for the same living space they were among the first species to discover the Rodents were in fact intelligent. With knowledge came understanding, and from that, communication. Cooperation between certain species was nothing unique, Herds of Deer or Sheep would sometimes make use of a larger predator to protect themselves, either as a guard or as a warning system in exchange for shelter where another pack might not provide. For the Rabbits and Rats, their form of cooperation revolved around two simple necessities; living space and food. This need for space and food, lead to the birth of an agricultural revolution which made places like Zootopia possible. And would plant the seeds of the Black Hunger's beginnings.
>>15412511can i get a source ?
>>15416051Leto sure does a ton of fine tuning, at first glance it's not a lot different than it was 3 hours ago.
>>15416022>i think it could stand on its own with your concept. doesnt need to be dependent on pack street characters.I'm not writing it from the perspective of a PS character because I depend on it for popularity. I just happen to enjoy the characters. It's fanfiction. Making it about a brand new character is one idea, but I'm not sure how I feel about creating an OC that I'll very rarely use for anything. The only time I'd use them would probably be for edgy stuff and I doubt anyone would really be into that, ontop of the fact that I'm not terribly fond of the idea myself. The group of people who enjoy darker writing amongst the thread is small. I feel like inventing a whole new character would be a waste of time for something I'll rarely do. Unless I wrote them as some faceless nobody and only described the mental processes instead of how they as a person feel.

>>15416327Un-distorted version here:>
>>15416036Truthfully? Can't say, I'll write however much feels enough to me.>>15416055In a world of much bigger Mammals, it was wise not to make enemies of the only ones who could consistently find you and find a way to get to you. Since the early Tribes wanted the same things, and they did not want to become food for anything on the surface, basic truces and deals were made which would keep Rabbit and Rat from interfering with one another in exchange for the other's assurances.Time would move on, thousands of years would pass with this unique relationship having it's ebb and flow. Rabbits, much faster and mobile than Rats, would venture out into the Daylight to recover food, and in exchange, the Rats would maintain their burrows as well. Come nightfall, it would be the Rats to brave the night who could remain unseen while the Rabbits would remain behind resting and protecting their home. For the time, to trust your kin and home with another species was a very rare thing indeed. Almost unheard of in non-pack based Mammals. This however was not from kinship or trust. Purely, it was a need for space, and food. The very cooperation the two species would seek served to force their cooperation With added means of obtaining food and aid in building shelter, both would find their populations growingNewer tools which aided in digging and farming, exasperated the supply and demand. Come the period of the Roman Empire, there were innumerable tens of thousands of these jointed Burrows across the Eurasian continent. Farms sprawling on the surface while underground, vast trade tunnels ferried food and goods from one Burrow to the next safely, bypassing those on the surface entirely. Exponential growth and the demand for farmland did lead Rabbits to encountering other nations of the world. Not having much of a history of warriors, save a few notable exceptions, they found themselves absorbed into these nations. Providing tax revenue and tribute, often in the form of Food.

Hi, /ztg/! Falke here. My guilty pleasure is procrastinating. That is, I wrote a little something in the last bit of time I had while it was still thursday. Please enjoy this little stack of indulgent behavior.>Weeknights were usually nothing special. Judy had planned to make it special anyway. In an ideal world, she would have had time to cook dinner, and maybe watch another episode of Nature's Fury before bed.>Vice operated on a weird schedule, though. Apparently the best time to nail drug dealers was the dead of night - and because she and Nick had drawn detail with them, they were still at work at almost one in the morning, explaining the finer points of illegal catnip operations to a nervous impala in thick glasses.>"I know you're hoping there isn't a next time yourself," Nick said. "But if this ever happens again, there are a couple things you can keep an ear out for. Your power bill, for one.">"My power bill?" He adjusted his glasses. "I pay that on time, too.">"Oh, we don't mean to suggest otherwise." Reeves, their big bear friend from Organized Crimes, chuckled. He sorted through the paperwork with the tips of his claws. "It's because the sun lamps that grow this stuff draw an awful lot of juice. Did you not notice?"https://archiveofourown.org/works/6727384/chapters/33378192
