What do you think of Zoots with hairstyles? Can anons please share some OCs with hairstyles? (Besides Nobby’s) Been trying to give a character a hairstyle but it hasn’t been coming out correctly... I can’t even make proto Judy look right, and that isn’t even a full on hairstyle
>>14192866Usually our stance on seals, dolphins, whales and similarly aquatic mammals has been of nay (also the reason they can't be zoosonas). While you could go with hoofer magic for the hands, the lack of legs and the general impossibility for them to acquire a bipedal stance (both because of their lower body configuration and their excessive weight) requires too many breaches of reality for a somewhat realistic setting like Zootopia
Looking for more simple draw requests
>>14193081I see !! Just sine I saw the hippo swim-way tunnels from the beginning of the movie I had wondered about seals. Them not being able to go places that are not fitted with waterways around the city leaves them at harbors or in large bodies of water fighting fisher-mammals over fishing spots and not netting their kids.
>>14193078>What do you think of Zoots with hairstylesGo with something that looks like the natural extension of their fur, like proto-Judy, Gazelle, Priscilla, Bore, they look much better than random human hair like Gideon.
>>14193148Ah, yes, the ridiculous logistics involved is also another reason for why intelligent aquatic mammals in Zootopia are not possible
>>14193094Judy burrowing
>>14193181To be fair, there are enough actual examples of arguably ridiculous logistics present in the movie to make it somewhat difficult for us to poo-poo hypothetical examples of same.

>>14193078Robert's version of Nick's mom
>>14193181>>14193214If I remember correctly, the team of Zootopia actually considered intelligent aquatic mammals (like reptiles and birds) but they decided not to include it in the movie, because it was too complicated. It was in Art of Zootopia, if I remember correctly.
>>14193313Can't say I blame them. Definitely not saying we should give it a pass. Actual implementation would be a clusterfuck. Just playing devil's advocate for the concept.
>>14193313Did they say they did not exist, or just live elsewhere because putting them in the city was too hard? I do not really mind, I can just look for other animals, Seals are one of my favorites so I wanted to consider it .

I want a fanfic that's pretty much Zootopia 2. No sex. No out of place bad language and or themes. Not too much violence. Just a story long enough to feel like I'm reading the novelization of a rated PG family film sequel. Does such a fic exist?
>>14193917And why everyone wants to lewd him
>>14193745We had this discussion half a year ago, but I don'T mind sharing my points on it again. In all seriousness, sapient non-mammals is the last thing I want in a follow up story. Zootopia suppose to represent the unity of all. A place where EVERYONE can be anything. If there are so many species not present in the city, the whole that kinda taints the whole message of it that even seemingly perfect places can have unresolved problems below the surface (to be specific the predator hate).Every dialogue suggest that the city is populated my mammals. Judy's speech at the beggining: "We evolved! And now every mammal has multitous opportunities"And Byron and Rich both stated that they thought about how a world like this would work. If all animals evolved, what would they eat? There are animals that NEED meat to survive. So no. They stated that surerly not every animal evolved. If there are sapient lizards and birds. they probably are like zootopian equal of mythological creatures of dragons and harpies and exist next to non-sapient birds and lizards.
>>14193959Don't hold me up to it, but isn't that what kulkum and TWW are trying to make? Well only 3 pages so far. But no, I can't exactly think of a fic.
>>14193988Actually Byron confirmed that there are no sapient birds (it was an ask video, and he said if he would be a sapient animal he would be [type of bird], but "[sapient birds] are not present in Zootopia")
>>14194104Didn't he also say no sapient reptiles?
>>14193959fanficnothing that I recall, but yeah, that would be nice if not every fanfic writer would want to be so uber mature.Sadly the closest thing I recall to what you would like it Mead's Water under the burrows comic, but even that has a little bit of suggestive context with Nick's "rew up the old love machine" comment
>Betty is warm>My bed is warm>Betty is soft>My bed is soft>Betty is just an extra cute, nice smelling bedI must sleep on her.
>>14193988>If there are so many species not present in the city, the whole that kinda taints the whole messagenigger, they said "no domestic species". They also said "if it's not in the movie, it's not canon". The only thing tainting the movie is you.
>>14194113he didn't but despite that all evidence points at it, that only land mammals evolved, you going to want to have it as long it's not specifically said out that they are not there?why is it so important to you? Can't you accept a setting where lizards and birds fill up a different role in the system?

>>14195758I actually thought the exact same thing and I really think it would be the perfect way to do it.On top of that just make them roommates from the beginning. Judy moves away from Zootopia, thereby cancelling her apartment lease, so she has no apartment and if we assume the concept art for Nick's apartment are canon, then he was living in a dump. It would make all kinds of sense for them to share an apparent. I remember when the sequel to "How to train you dragon" came out, I was very reluctant to see it because I was 100% sure, that there would be a stupid subplot with Hiccup and Astrid falling in love, when it was obviously a total given that they would end together, anyway. As it turns out, DreamWorks thought the exact same thing, and basically made them engaged from the start. Perfect decision.

Nick asked while grabbing cups from a shelf.>"Hash browns, mushrooms and poached Platypus eggs," she replied.>"Oh, har har," he retorted.>"You know, if their 'eggs are kits' movement actually got up, they might even stop us from eating lizard eggs.">"Oh come on" she responded, "we've probably been eating eggs from the time of the dinosaurs, well you preds certainly have anyway.">"We were eating a lot more than eggs back then my little morsel," he said having snuck up behind her and given her tail a good sniff.>She jinked sideways, trying to move away, but was busily stirring the eggs and couldn't really go anywhere.>"Don't DO that!" she squealed, "I've got a pan of boiling water here and anything could happen!">"Sorry, sorry," he intoned, and stuck his snout between her ears and gave the back of her head a sniff for good measure.>"Look you, go and pour the carrot juice," she chided, trying to sound angry.

Nick sniggered taking his plate.>Judy just tried to do her best 'Evil eye' at him as she sat down.>"But yeah, those platypuses, or platypii, or whatever they want to call themselves, don't seem to know if they want to be mammals, reptiles or birds?" It's a cool concept, but some people can't hold their spahgetti over someone being more popular than them. As long as it's not competitive in any way it could work. We shouldn't have it be like cards where there's like an artist list or something though. That backfired.

>>14196340Rollan 4/5
>>14196575Agree with this. It's not disney-safe as it is, and it does lean on some tropes, but it also doesn't go overboard with anything. There are actual characters staying in character and having actual arcs, and everything they do is plausible and the world feels detailed and lived-in. It could be a bunch of OCs and it would still be better than almost anything in the fandom, imo. The fact that it's wildehopps is just bonus.
>>14199312>Coffeemaker>Excitement>Ever since Judy had gotten him a new coffeemaker, she had been ecstatic to wake him up every day.>He didn't really get what all the fuss was about, but Judy practically bounced around the apartment in the mornings as he was catching up with his drink.>He caught on pretty quickly that a simple thank-you after he finished waking up got her basically vibrating in place.>It reminded him of something half-remembered from ages ago, something about rabbit courtship.>Shit, he needed to go buy a book about it or something.
>>14196340Rollan 5/5
>>14199391>Action figure>Fascination>It wasn't often that Judy got a glimpse into Nick's childhood.>He claimed it was by and large uneventful, but she knew lots of it was painful for him to talk about, and that she'd probably get all worked up for nothing because she couldn't fix things that happened twenty years ago, or bring anyone to justice.>But when she found a toy in his room, an old action figure of a fox in detective clothes and no facial features, she had to ask.>He held it with no small measure of nostalgia, and ran his paws over it.>"He's just a guy, Carrots.
