People will always try to draw parallels with interracial relationships around the 50s, homossexual relationships and wacky one dimensional villains who are close to some real life equivalent. It's the kind of subject that even our boy Borba went with for a comic before scrapping it for not being nearly as overdramatic as it could be (though to be fair, even Iji made a comic about it).
