>>11346658Judy's nipples there could cut diamond.
>>11346644It wasn't private at all.Ramis and Murray had a falling out since they had a disagreement on the philosophy and how long the time loops went on in Groundhog Day, they didn't speak for years, and he rejected any Ghostbusters scripts that came his way.Apparently, it was a miracle that he even agreed to voice his character in the PS3/360 game (and you could tell how much he didn't give a shit by his voice), and even then I don't think that he & Ramis recorded in the same room at all.Supposedly, they "made up", but Murray kept rejecting scripts and rewrites all the way up to Ramis' death. It is possible to like someone's work, but think they're a reprehensible human being. Just look at Woody Allen and Orson Scott Card.
>>11346350>Bill Murray as Garfield is weirdThey wanted to make a Ghostbusters cartoon after the movie. They got the rights. Bill Murray refused to let his image be used in the cartoon. They had to change the appearances of all the characters. Egon got a white pompadour, Ray was a fat ginger, etc.As a fuck you to Bill Murray, they cast Lorenzo Music as the VA of Peter Venkman and had him do his Bill Murray impression. The same VA also did Garfield. Over the years people confused Murray with Music. So when they made the movie the cast Murray for box office draw.

>>11346737All the problems that the Real Ghostbusters went through were undeserved and numerous.Such as the reason why they had to call the show the "Real" Ghostbusters.Don't get me started on Janine and the junior Ghostbusters.>>11346763Cash Up Front.Basically, the way that yiff.party gets material is that they have bots make pledges and download the material/get the links. It then cancels the pledge before it can get charged. When Patreon started noticing all the fraud, they gave users the option to charge their new patrons up front; i.e. you have to give the amount of money for the tier you want up front.Yiff found a way around this, by basically making it so that someone could take the bullet for the site by paying the CUF, and having Yiff piggy back and downloading everything to the site.Since that requires people to pay between 1-20 dollars or so up front, per CUF patron, you sometimes get a long stretch of no updates for a creator, if they even get one at all.

>>11346731>Orson Scott CardOh, OSC is a prick? (*Discreetly looks up on Wikipedia*) Fantastic. Now I can hate his work AND him.Honestly. I have no idea how anyone could possibly have thought Ender's game was a good book. The entire thing is just Ender accomplishing things literally any human being could do while the author wanks himself off silly over how super speshul he is for doing it. Seriously, the amount of wank is unreal (as you'd imagine from any character called 'Ender'. Honestly, might as well have called him Raven DarkShadow McEdge). It's informed ability all the way down. And that's not even going into how fucked up his depiction of the human race is. I've never read a scifi book where the premise was 'save the human race' and finished the thing thinking "For fucks sake *why would you want to?*"No one acts even remotely human in that book. Middle-class teenage schoolboys will go straight to murdering a fellow student if they can get away with it to start with. In fact, every child is violent to the gills! (Which is weird, because one of the so speshul characteristics of Ender is that he's so violent its pseudo-ubermenschian! *swoon* - but it doesnt exactly stand out).I experienced this dull feeling of 'oh, of course' when I found out he was Mormon, because he has this very obvious theme in the book that people cannot possibly save themselves or improve themselves. Greatness is something you are just magically born with. Everyone in the book is either a dumb, unthinking slave or a morally superior over-human. And not in the cool Nietzschean way. > TL;DR = I can't say it wasn't a compelling book. I read right to the end. But it's a book where I began desperately cheering for the aliens early on, and when I finished it I actually used it to help me start a fire in my fireplace. Seriously.I cannot believe that mary-sue wank fic got him fame. I've read fanfiction better put together.

I'd like to see what you have for chap 3.Well, my request is for a sexy, intimate picture with Nick and Honey Badger.Honey was a character who was part of Nick's scam crew in the prototype script, along with Clawhauser and Finnick, she was a conspiracy theorist who believed that sheep were controlling society. She got cut from the movie, but her model was reworked into the badger doctor from the mental hospital who was arrested in the final product.Since then, some people here (me included) like to have those two together, romantically or platonically. It's similar to the Jack Savage and Skye thing.

I'm hoping I can finish it this month.Other than rings and hair, is there a major difference with the models?

There are some versions where she's fairly thin, others where she's wider. The one on the right is closest to how the badger doctor eventually wound up looking.Personally, I'm fine with whatever design you wind up using; I just love some badger & fox lovin' regardless.
>>11348523Honey's actually got a huge number of designs. Most people seem partial to this one; it's very striking and hints at the conspiracy theorist part and has sort of a spunky vibe without going full on crackpot recluse like some of the other concepts.

>>11348661Only the filthiest, most degenerate kinks, Anon. Affection between two consenting adults. But seriously, there's no real baseline. There's been a few different examinations of her, mostly through a friends with benefits relationship with Nick before he met Judy. >>11350086I'm sure there would be great ideas and settings using human in zootopia. You guys always create great stuff, I'd read a story of a human interacting with Zootopia world and characters. Would definitely be more interesting than 'Nick visits the burrow' or 'Relationship Drama Screenplay with Zootopia Characters name'.
>>11350113I actually have a fic planned, Zootopia being part of another continent on Earth, much like ours, except Anthros and Humans evolved alongside each other, feral animals still existing, all that being luck of genetics. Some countries, say, the Middle East, China, some places in the US, hate Anthros, seeing them as an abomination against God, monsters, subhuman.Zootopia was founded by Anthros, for anthros, around the late 1800s, being a cultural melting pot of different species, minus humans, of course. Humans, until recently, weren't allowed in Zootopia. The protagonist is a human, military type, coming into Zootopia, mostly due to international pressure to open borders and start communicating. Zootopia has the exact same problems we face, terrorism, crime, war. I don't intend for it to be a super happy story all the time, it'll get dark.Still, of course, in the early stages right now.
>>11350126I remember the mixed reactions too. Always felt bad because I thought the comic was harmless. He seemed pretty set on making his second comic when I saw him talk, too. Thats why it surprised me when I never saw him again, but then again a lot of people got frustrated and just up and left.It surprised me that so many stuck around.Im grateful for it though, you all are cool people and I like the things you make.

>>11350172>"Nick visits the burrow"I can only think of a handful of times I have enjoyed that trope, because usually it turns into "Oh hey, I am bringing my best friend/boyfriend who is a fox to my home town full of bunnies who probably have fox repellent at the very least! I am sure nothing will go wrong and there will be no drama! Oh, and some festival involving carrots will be there too."

>>11350339Well, it's through the eyes of a trained killer. Not the idealistic innocence of Judy, or Nick's cynical and hurt worldview. Wolfe is a soldier, he knows exactly how fucked the world is.Here's a little sample, picture yourself walking into a civilian village, and seeing all the townspeople in a mass grave, kids barely old enough to walk, women. I apologize if that sounds a bit edgy, but war can be, in an unironic, fucked up way.And yes, his name is Wolfe, it's a play on how an actual wolf has a pack, this one's a loner. I've been doing some research on things that happened in Vietnam, Serbia/Bosnia during the purges, Iraq. Some of this sounds like something an edgy teen would write.

>>11350647As mentioned numerous times before, most human in Zootopia themes are just self inserts.A few newcomers get the idea as the 'stranger in a strange land' concept, and naturally gravitate towards using humans.Still a no-no.If they want to do strange, the option has been left open at various places to use non-mammals, typically reptiles. There is enough diversity to probably get away with this if anyone is thinking in that direction.Side note, TMNT/Zoot crossovers will only appeal to twelve year olds...
>>11350647There was also the anon who wanted to unironically have human mythology in Zootopia where whites were considered good by the mammals, where they saw the blacks as corrupted or evil. And the anon who wanted someone to write him a story where humans invaded Zootopia with our "superior armament" and how they probably wouldn't be able to resist.Or the anon who kept spamming some vaguely philosophical quote about how humans were the deadliest of mammals and trying to build up support to have humans in Zoot. They might've even all been the same guy.

You could do that with Pred/prey, but not on the scale I'm trying to. This is a Zootopia that still talks about how even during primative times, humans were evil, while Anthros were able to somewhat coexist without a lot of violence on par with human history. The only reason Wolfe is even in Zootopia is they're all under pressure from the rest of the world, and running out of room for themselves.

>>11350647>So I ask you, does the story change dramatically if they aint humans? This is the question anyone needs to ask themselves before attempting to write a "humans/Zootopia" fic. Because for humans to even EXIST in this universe requires a good amount of explanation, as it has been stated that humans, or primates, simply do not exist. It is not something a Zootopia reader can just go "Oh, well I guess humans exist now." Is it worth coming up with a possibly convoluted background for human characters when you could tell the same story with animal characters? Stereotypical species as they may be, maybe using a wolf could be interesting, where they were once part of a "pack" but thrown out and is now shamed as a "lone wolf". And that is just one of the most common animals used in media!
>>11350827Perhaps a pawsicle could quench your thirst?

Like its an atrocity and a warcrime, and now hes in Zootopia. That would be hardcore and maybe too edgy to me but thats at least what is cool about Zootopia, I learn a new culture and I learn how it mixes with ZootopiaA human culture, I know about already, like the desired effect youre looking for might still be better done with like, proud segregated species

Ok, think of it like this. You have an isolated country, a country continuously growing and expanding, running out of room for the population, maybe starting to stretch their resources too thin, facing pressure from the bigger players to open up, maybe even facing pressure from people in their own country. War is out of the question, because, humans will inevitably unite against Zootopia seeing a common enemy. Zootopia doesn't see humans in terms of nationality, or creed. They just see humans. Humans, who have tried to eradicate them, humans, who have exiled them. That is one of the reasons I use a human MC, I can't see that level of hate or fear for a wolf from a majority of a population.Technology wise, Zootopia could roughly be on par with modern day, sans nuclear power or weapons. They're more ecological. Solar power, hydroelectric...As I said, still working out the details.

The reason why she wanted Judy to be the face of the ZPD was so she could look at the department every day and laugh at how everyone in the system was so stupid to believe what Judy said and how dumb the Rabbit was for thinking that. She probably gave Judy the offer to join her because she figured she'd be dumb enough to believe it.
>>11351253Nice
>>11351335Because human in zootopia is shit and canonxOC is doubly so. You're pretty much grilling up literal cancer and then asking "what's wrong with the steak?"
>>11351342I think there are a few of>mearound...
>>11351335So, forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. Still, I get it. Plenty of people have tried what I've tried and fucked it up. I can see where you're coming from.
>>11351335You can make Nick bi. Lots of good fics make Nick bi.You can make Nick with an OC. There has probably been one or two that have been good that did that. You can make Nick with a human. There hasn't to my knowledge been a fic that did that very well. You're doing all three. You're treading dangerous ground.Look, write it if you believe in it man. If its the first thing you wrote in four years then just get it out there, you know? Cause maybe the thing you write after that will be even better. Or maybe this is genius. Hey, if people dont like this story, try another story too. Try one for TT.
>>11351335
>>11351364In some ways, taking the real life parallels that can be assumed in the movie, the underlying fears/hates are really a bad reflection on humanity. One needs to have a bit more suspension of disbelief to continue enjoying the movie once that concept has sparked.
>>11351335>I'm sorry, but AnthroXHuman is a big kink of mine. And that explains so much.To be blunt, in almost every human OC story in this fandom (or any fandom with animal characters), it becomes apparent very quickly that the human is the self-insert, and so that has quickly become the natural reaction to such pairings. Self-inserts/canon characters is basically a big no go for most people, and even then OC/canon character still makes people cringe. Then add in you are going against the WildeHopps pairing, where people go "REEEE" at pairings where Nick or Judy are with other people, and you are going to face quite a bit of opposition. As >>11351274 said though, no point in trying to defend a story that doesn't even exist. I don't think there is a point in arguing "Hey, give this a try" or "it is still in the works, it won't be so bad" until you actually have it written down and published.Just keep in mind the criticism the thread has given, ESPECIALLY the "does the story significantly change if these characters aren't human?" and could you possibly tell the same story with animal characters, and not just use human characters because you want to due to some kink you have or you REALLY want to see humans in a story.
>>11351374Haven't looked, but I guess Lola has pawpads?
I unironically think that there's nothing inherently wrong with the concept of a human in zootopia. It's just they've all been terrible because all the writers are terrible.
>>11351474All the writers that do the stories are terrible because all the good ones understand that there are no fucking humans in Zootopia.
>>11351253Holy shit, this is super awesome dude. Thank you so much!
>>11351505That's what I was waiting for, my favorite thing about these cards
>>11350692Don't lie to that Anon you fucking hereticI leave to play some Vidya and this shit happens
>>11351495Doesn't mean there can't be.Good writers know how to use their imaginations, anon.
>>11351533>Doesn't mean there can't beYes, it does. Primates do not exist in the entirety of the Zootopia universe, period dot the end.
>>11351459I actually support WildeHopps. This won't be some cheap "Judy is a bitch to Nick so, he gets with the OC because the OC is super fucking perfect." Wolfe might be a "Heroic" character, might be a bit badass, but, again, as I said, soldier. Psychological trauma, nightmares, injury, PTSD. I want to deconstruct what some other writers rely on. The "unkillable super awesome character saving everyone and has no flaws."

>>11351545That's a nice headcanon you've got there but it's not a very good use of your imagination.
>>11351548>Wolfe might be a "Heroic" characterBut the gayness anon...
>>11351565It's fun to go back and watch this now and then.
>>11351548Heres another thing to think aboutTractionDo you think a lot of people will be interested in reading your story from the threads? Its hard to sell a military fic, or even one that isnt a comedy. Human in Zootopia makes a lot of people instantly say no. AWAHO is universally regarded as the best, and it still has people who say they will never see it because its got humans.Lets say only 10 people read it. Will you be happy with that? Just asking cause this will probably be a reality.
>>11351533>Doesn't mean there can't be.>Good writers know how to use their imaginations, anon.I have seen this wording before a long time ago...

>>11351620Yep. I'm not doing this for popularity or fame.Worst case scenario, I fuck it up to the point it's mocked on here years from now. Did I give it my best, and did what I could? Yeah? I'm happy.
>>11351659Doesn't ring a bell.
>>11351576>Nice headcanonThanks man it's the same one the creators have

I'm happy.Good on you then, and godspeed. I really mean that, I wish I had the courage to try shit creatively like that, I would write a lot more than I write now.

>>11351709Not that, either. I'm just stating the worst.Ideally, it receives a lot of praise, realistically, it'll be mixed, maybe slip under the radar.

>>11351253>You break the rules and therefore this card cannot exist! But for real, that's a nice card T and I don't really mind the non-uniform design. It's actually a pretty cool dark/light theme.HOWEVER. Since you didn't give Chilly a suit, I can't add her card to the main deck. I'll still put her in an extra but if you're willing to give her a proper suit and rank, I'll move her up.Might I suggest her as the Scribe of Lewd?(and yes, I changed the title from Peasant since that seemed a little mean)
>>11351867Nah, it's ok 'cause I had already made one for Boney anyway. I am fine with my new cards being simply "wild cards"
>>11351867also her arttist hat could technically be counted as her crown. Ok I'm done bye!
>>11351943Okay then. Would've been great to have another main card to fill the deck sooner but I'll respect your decision. Thanks again, T!
>>11351123Thanks anon. Still haven't found the damn tablet pen though
