>>84273006Just got home.What's new, lads?
>>84273124The thread. One made at 6am seems to have been jannied for no reason whatsoever.
>>84273215I wanna protect that smile.
>>84273263I think we all do
>>84273006How do horses, or any animal who have hooves, manage to do or use anything?
Just watched it recently. Actually amazed at how much I enjoyed it
How did the people in your theater react to the naturalist club? Did they find it funny, weird or completly natural? I loved how it looked as a window to "our" world with normal animals in them.
>>84273482So what were your expectations at first, anon?
>>84273143>jannied for no reason whatsoeverWell... what a surprise..
anyone noticed last two images from the previous thread?
>>84273493At IMAX people were laughing like crazy at this scene.
>>84273541Honestly when I first saw the trailer (the sloth one) I thought the gag was too long and it made me not feel like watching the actual movie. But it's actually so fresh and charming. Gave me real happy feels
>>84273612Wished I actually got to watch the film in theaters but at least I watched it with the family a couple of weeks ago and their laughs were music to my ears.
What are zoos in the Zootopia universe?
>>84273625You're not alone on that, nobody really expected much with film, /co/ even thought it was gonna be another shitty generic Disney film but with animals.Glad we were mistaken, I guess we have the marketing to blame on that since the film itself was already rushed behind schedule.
>>84273654They don't exist dummy. Better question: do eggs as we know them exist in Zootverse?
>>84273681Man I wish I got to experience it sooner then. Must've been fun. A real testament to how good the film is then, to have so much success despite it all.
>>84273697I meant more like why is it called Zootopia then. It's like having a place IRL called Prisontopia. As for the eggs, I'm gonna say no. It's eating embryos, isn't it?
>>84273724Well it did hit a well-deserved billion and that's something since it only had a hint of marketing compared to Minions and Frozen.
>>84273630Heh... I saw it A LOT. :^)You know those special glasses they give test drivers and test pilots that scan the eye and pinpoint exactly where they are looking? Well i'm convinced if the audience was wearing them they were all looking for nut sacs and buttholes!
>>84273789>>84273798Haven't seen these before, where are you getting these, friend?
>>84273825From somebody else! Although I think they're already on the internet if you reverse image search
>>84273773That means a probable sequel though right? Idk if that's a good idea.Afraid it won't be good enough.
>>84273835It hit a billion, it would be retarded for Disney not to make a sequel. I'm sure it wouldn't have as much charm as to the first film but I'm confident it'll still work with the world's potential and putting Disney into the matter. They're making a sequel for WiR and that movie only made 400 million so I'm guessing we won't be seeing the adventures of a cute bun and a smug fox for the next 6 years or so.Unless they're gonna pull a Zoot short like how they did on Frozen and Tangled.
>>84273900Yeah you're right Anon I'm excited to see more of the world. A short sounds like it could work well too
I have not returned. Not taking requests.
>>84274462Don't draw Nick's reaction to bunnies' obsession with carrots
>>84273900I think there is a graphic novel coming out in a couple of months
Can we get some love going for Finnick?
>>84273789>>84273798>>84273833reverse search wasn't too helpful, basically gave a few tumblr/pintrest pages that weren't very informative. According to a comment on the first image it was from the artbook, but I just looked through and couldn't find it.
>>84273493The adults and most of the kids laughed. I heard a few kids gasp, a few going "ew!", and one said "oh no!"
Why did this movie have such bad marketing?>FIREBALLIt's like Disney wanted it to fail. And yet it got 99% on Rotten Tomatoes and made a billion dollars.
>>84275288Considering the movie went through a re write half way throigh development, I don't think Disney even had any confidence it would succeed
>>84275288most likely because it was made out of abomination known as proto-zootopia.director wanted to make a noir film movie with talking animals living in apartheid kind of city.seriously.then test audience said they hated it, and then it had to be completely rewritten
>>84275288Disney execs had a master plan and they didn't care if it didn't make sense. They decided that Zootopia would be the spring B movie, and then bank all their advertisement and merchandising sheckles on Finding Dory, which they decided was going to be the summer A movie.
>>84275288its because they called it zootopia when the city has no zoos
>>84275288It had the same crap marketing that Tangled and Frozen had, yet those movies made mega money.
Sheep Charles Manson is cuteCUTE
>>84275346But animals are naturally racist and stay around their own species the most, you barely ever see interspecies bonds in animals unless its a symbiotic relationship.
>>84275122i always check twitter for new Finnick.https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=%E3%83%95%E3%82%A3%E3%83%8B%E3%83%83%E3%82%AFmaybe he's just a joke "old angry fennec" , but damn if he isn't adorable
>>84275493well.. the idea of the animal city came from seeing all animal - predators and prey drinking from same waterhole.then they decided to make serious movie about biases/prejudices.it was "interesting', but these ideas have no place in family friendly entertainment.
>>84275346But anon, test audiences are always full of retards, Proto-Zootopia was true kino.
>>84275628>Proto-Zootopia was true kino.exactly! it shouldnt even be mentioned on bluray.id' rather see the deleted alternate ending.
Was finally able to see this amazing film last week. I liked that the movie could make a person think. I knew from online reviews that there was racism in the film, but I did not expect RACISM. Really wish I had been able to see this when it was in the theaters. That Nick boyscout scene though, that was tough to watch.
>>84275709now imagine a movie with like, 5 such scenes involving nick.
>>84275760I wouldn't mind an entire movie of Nick growing up and becoming a con man, but I feel like it would be impossible to get through, but for all of the right reasons.
>>84275801hopefully that prequel comic will try to do it tastefully.
>>84275590>it was "interesting', but these ideas have no place in family friendly entertainment.I wouldn't say no place, but I agree that the initial inspiration for the movie (learning that predators and prey drink from the same watering hole without attacking each other) really had nothing to do with the direction the movie was going in, and in fact the darker version of the film seemed to run opposite of that initial moment of inspiration. The point of proto zootopia seemed to be that if predators and prey were living together without any fighting, the predators would ultimately get screwed over because the prey outnumber them 10 to 1. The final version of the movie is more about the difficulties in making an integrated society like that work. The important part is that it's up to the individual people to make it work.
>>84276128Imagine Rich Moore never existed
>>84273756There are 5 animals that are mammals that lay eggs, echidna are 4 of and the noble platypus is the last, I think they would be seen as freaks. I mean they also sweat milk.
>>84275137I know when they first got posted (or at least the first time i saw them) the poster's name was "A Friend" and the filenames were "trust is gone" and "futile protection".I want to believe it's either Byron or Rich having some fun.
>>84276482I'd rather bieleve Hoppsman. Moore is working hard on the adventures of Ralph and Vanellope in the internet.
>>84275464 B A E W E T H E R
>>84276528>Ralph and Vanellope go to Internet Land>all the cameo characters are memes from 10 years ago
>>84276617dude, it's Moore.he found puns where Howard couldnt find them despite having them in front of his eyes!
The sequel better feature more rodents.
>>84276750i know people just want more nick and judy, but you can't beat around the bush through the whole movie... i just want more city, but you need you new subject to use it. can it be done with same characters? sometimes what you want is not what you need...
>>84276482doubtful, the pics definitely aren't new (see: http://nami-san22.tumblr.com/post/144941533923 dated may 26th). but for some reason I'm having a hard time figuring out where they're from. the style looks similar to the official storyboards, but could be fan content for all I know.
>>84276750>the giant judy scene
>>84277027nah, it's Byron's work for sure. the source is unknown though. the collars are nasty thing, but what bothers me the most it kinda strips the magic of the final movie, seeing a bizarre version of characters in completely different world made me uneasy, you just fell in love with them and the you see... this. i'd be fine with that if i saw it like.. a year from the premiere. not right after, i'd shrug it off.but for some reason they wanted to show it asap , "let's get over with it!" kind of thing.did frozen had a whole documentary where they changed elsa from villain to hero?
>>84273493I imagine it awoke furry desires in some
>>84275363Which is a shame. Because I actually hate Finding Dory and I wish that movie didn't fucking exist.
>>84273756Do you know why zoos are called zoos?
>>84277749'Because Sun Tzu took 2 of all his enemies animals and let them onto a boat before beating the crap out of every single one of them'
>>84275288>Movie almost entirely scrapped late in the production>Marketing literally approached furry fetishists to help sell the movieWe exist in one of the few realities where this movie succeeded.
>>84277711money maker man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQEVgbMqq7o
>>84277785Our reality is pretty fucking crazy at the moment, so it's not that surprising
>>84277914>ZootropolisOh fuck they're too close to me
>>84277947I will just never understand why they're distributed like this
>>84275464She was pretty cute. I really hope she doesn't undergo a change of heart while in prison if she shows up in the sequel.
>>84277975>nick and judy visit her>she sits, staring at them, not saying a wordWhy so quiet? Nick asks.
>>84278032"Look Gary, there are five people in this research base and you're the only one who answered immediately when we had that conversation about spirit animals. Just admit it and we'll give you back the suit."
>>84278107There's no way to prove its current, could have been the team before us. Now if you give me the suit i'll get in contact with HQ and I'll get it sent to the real owner.
>>84278238To instill terror in your enemies
>>84278359Well, in that case, it's certainly working.
>>84278238>>84278359>>84278372Might just be trying to copy the way animal eyes reflect light in the dark
>>84278019>Silence of the lambs is the prison gang code of conduct
>>84277788this. walk into any store where they sell toys, and you'll see dory crap just slapped onto everything as far as the eye can see. Anything they can put nemo characters on they will and they will market it as official Finding Dory merchandising.
>>84278428well then why not just use reflective material for the eyes? so that it will actually mimic reflective eyes.
>>84278454i saw dusted off Finding Nemo puzzle boxes, beach balls etc.disney, you fucking jew.
>>84278515Fucking exactly this. This is the crap they're pulling now. Instead of making new merchandise for their new original movie, they just rehashed the exact same crap from 10 years ago. Oh and here's a fun fact; Nemo was dick useless for the entirety of Finding Dory, but you can bet your candy ass that won't stop the Disney kikes from slapping that orange cunt on anything even remotely sell-able.
>>84278594dont worry, in 13 years there will be Z2 , and they will dust off these shitty tomy toys.
twitter.also i think i found a proof where our mascots are now.
>>84279224what does that signature say?
Zootopia is a better detective movie than any Batman movie.
>>84277947More like Furmany.
>>84279224whos the artist
>>84273654They have reptiles and birds and amphibians
>>84279511To get publicly defecated upon?
>>84279551oh, Eh, you and your attitude.at least they're fenced.
>>84279551The suits protect them
>>84279578No, this is whaleoil
>>84280068I want you to do cute stuff, Judy. Cute!
>>84280106this joke overstayed its welcome like a month ago.
>>84280138So has the country of Poland, although that's for much longer than a month
>>84273006>sequel never>TV show never>prequel comic soon but after that nothing>all because not muh A movieFuck disney
>>84280410we might be even sperging over a overglorified coloring book...all what we got going is proto-zootopia re-leaks, which makes it even more depressing considering the tone of that movie.
>>84280337Well, imagine that, for the right price, you could go out and pay to have your entire body inserted into a woman's vagina.
>>84280410Unless Disney suddenly hates money I doubt this is the last we'll be seeing of Holy Shit I'm a Furry: The Movie.
>>84280525more importantly, you could pay to be anal vored
>>84280337Very, but it's only the non-tiny animals who have it meaning they can never fulfill their desire. Just like IRL macrofags.
>>84280556>Holy Shit I'm a Furry: The Movie.Thats what I am afraid of, though: they may not hate money but if it is coming primarly from furfags they might be hesitant to have their brand hurt by being associated with degenerates that they may take time to retool to to make it more kid-centric and less furry b8
>>84280556disney have enough cash cows to not care about some tiny franchise for furries.they are set for years
>>84280822I wonder how many times this was Tweeted at Moore
>>84280774>>84280813Don't worry, the power of greed will always prevail. >>84280822Back to the depths from whence you came.
>>84280813>Ghost in the Shell is owned by DisneyI am really really not looking forward to seeing how badly that is going to turn out
>>84280876>Don't worry, the power of greed will always prevail.stupid double edged sword.
>>84273006I didn't care about Shaqkillas music.
And again, update on >>84264931. I'm 99% certain that the latter shoulder movement is way too harsh, so I'll tone that down later on. Tried exaggerating the expression a bit more and have now had a proper go at the face. I know there's a limit as to what this model can do with facial stuff, but it still feels way off.
>>84279693Why is this so funny?
>>84281459Fucking ugly ngl
>>84281485I try my best to please
>>84280813I still can't believe they're doing Toy Story 4. Pretty much every time there's been a 4 movie trilogy, the 4th movie ends up being shit. And in case your wondering, 4 movie trilogy = Trilogy + 4th movie that they made as a cash grab.
>>84281501It looks nice. The only thing that's bothering me is that the ears movement is a little off
>>84281539Yeah, I started with the ears when the head movement was a lot less exaggerated, so I need to give them a bit more speed
>>84281459One way you can make the ears look more natural is if they rotate to the sides slightly as her head reels back. Right now it looks kind of like she's wearing them as a prop, and they could be used to give her a bit more expressiveness. Animals' ears are part of how they make facial expressions, the same way our eyebrows are.
>>84281459>shoulder movement is way too harshYep, it needs fixing>Tried exaggerating the expression a bit more and have now had a proper go at the faceWhat I feel is that the change in expression is way too quick and there are few inbetween expressions. I feels like it goes from A to C with a very small Bin the middle. You can do multiple things to make it more lively, like adding a D stage very briefly and then bouncing back to C, You are doing that with the ears and look how well they feel.>I know there's a limit as to what this model can do with facial stuff, but it still feels way off.The mouth, cheeks, eyebrows and nose are static after the B(mouth and eye closed) keyframe. Add small movement. Also the head's movement feel too robotic. Two final things I recommend you to play with, unlock the scale transformation of the head bone to enable resizing. It can be helpful to squash the head a bit in the B stage and stretch it during the C stage. The second, you can enable frame counting so frame-specific advice can be given.
>>84280774>they might be hesitant to have their brand hurt by being associated with degeneratesIs this a joke or whatsomeone post ityou know what I mean
>>84282099Yeah, I went and did that (picture), so I'll make the magnitude of the gradient a bit smaller for all the facial stuff. I was going to do that later actually.I'll play around with the head for a while before fixing the ears. Doing those rather early on wasn't a very good idea. That'll take up the rest of my evening.Ta
>>84275346It wasn't a test audience, Lasseter told them that they created an unremdeemable world, that none of the characters would want to save the city. So they scrapped proto-Zootopia and created what we got today.
>>84282638The ending that Proto-Zootopia deserved was for Nick to permanently disable all of the tame collars in the city all at the same time. As the city descends into the fires of revolution, Nick drives out of the city with Judy, sticks his arm out the window and flips it the bird.
>>84280410>Literally no marketing>Makes a billion dollars on word-of-mouth alone >He doesn't think Disney haven't already greenlit work for a sequel and are scheduling things as we speak
>>84152880>Give Judy a better pose for this poor guy >>84140133. She looks scared to be there. Now she doesn't seem to be scared anymore, plus I fixed her proportions. Now, the guy looks a bit startled, but I cannot blame him, it's a bit frightening to stand next to an officer of the law.
>>84283115Oh my God you actually did it; I was starting to lose faith.
>>84283140Sorry for being late, life have gotten in the way a lot. Plus I learned the hard way that I hate krita as a image manipulation program and need to go back to photoshop.
Is that a baby carrot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

>>84280813>Pirates of the CaribbeanB-but why? Everything went downfall from the 3rd movie.
>>84283323HILL. DOWN-FUCKING-HILL. JUST TYPE IT CORRECTLY
>>84283320It better be a fucking carrot or I'll cut your dick off!
>>84283427O-oh. S-sorry, J-Judy.
>>84283115holy shit I laughed
>>84280822I don't mind Atariboy's art, but that build doesn't really work for a mega-swole Judy.
>>84273006it's bland and shallow.
>>84283901I bet you swallow.
>>84283364Don't tell me how to live my life (OCD is a hell of a drug).

Nobody seems to have posted this yet, so here we are. Don't succumb to the same fate lads
I liked allegory for race issues with animal characters before it was cool
>>84284443holy shit, you make me feel old now

>>84287218But did it turn you into a furry, or were you already a furry?
It's still bullshit that Nick never apologized for constantly making fun of Judy for being a rabbit, but Judy had to learn to be less racist even though she was trying to be more open minded to being with.
>>84283115Just woke up, this is too fucking beautiful.
Hello thread.... I've missed you...Sorry, I've been away everyone, was being productive and shit. Also, no Internet until now...

You will need to adjust the final movement of the shoulders (abrupt drop between frame 14 and 15) and add the inbetweens you feel necessary for the face. One quick thing I forgot to tell you, try using a different front light type if you wish to remove the white square reflection on judy's eye caused by the area lights. >>84290151maybe they live in an ancient city away from mammals, maybe reptiles do the same.
>>84290247True but that doesn't mean that this doesn't happen though. If something is attacked it is prey no ifs, ands or buts about it.Rhinos don't attack other animals to eat it. At least not to my knowledge and lions usually attack other lions to drive out competition and hyenas because they are annoying fucks trying to take their food. Also elephant attacks mostly happen at night. elephants have poor night vision. And just because it is rare to get it on film doesn't mean it doesn't happen more than we think.
>>84290418Perhaps. Though I believe that their ecosystems would be radically different if the birds and reptiles were sapient, and things would get even crazier if you include amphibians and fish.

Might change it actually because it's very obvious in final renders.
>>84288671I'm very much on that boat. It'd be neat to see Nick really liking suits but doesn't wear them because he associates them too closely with his upstanding dad. Nick thinks that, even as a cop, he still can't do them justice. He's too dependent on putting up his sly fox mask instead of being the open paragon that pops was. And even though Judy believes in him being a good mammal, his reactions to a very hard case have him questioning that too. His apparent dislike of even being a predator certainly don't help. Part of his character development over the sequel is resolving all of those issues and finally donning his own suit.
>>84290489elephants sometimes eat small animals when they have chance, horses, deer, mooses also do the same. being divided into prey or predator is very ambiguous, like humans can be prey or predators depending of the environment or situation and lions can be prey or predators depending of the situation.
>>84290652All of this is easy material for a sequel. Make it from Nick's POV and use all the trashed backstory/personal plots and tie it to a bigger story
>>84290785Do nothing because it's a screen
>>84290820To the untrained eye, perhaps.
>>84290740That'll be nice but the reason why they scrapped Nick's backstory in the first place is the fact that it made the movie less fun. They wanted the film's theme to be as sunny as it is to the point they changed the protagonist to the bunny. Nick's backstory would probably end up making the audience somewhat antagonize the city.
>>84290785>He doesn't have a Judy bodypillow It's just a regular sized pillow
>>84290892I have plans to upgrade my Judy. How will 2 monitors for the body and a laptop for the raised head look? Well... Should be a fun thing to do later on today...
>>84290883Of course, it would have to be watered down to fit the original plotline, but there definitely is workable content from the other script that they could use to help with a sequel. Please let there be a sequel
>>84290883I don't think they need to resurrect the whole thing, just aspects of it that keep Nick's experience relatable.Hell, they already did his scout trauma in the first movie, and it still worked there.

I'm just putting a thought out there, I'd like it if they did something like Die Hard with a Vengeance. Something with Terrorists attacking Zootopia. And if they really wanted to get controversial, maybe something like 9/11 and then they could offer commentary on religion and why people do those kinds of things.

Well... I'm tired as fuck.. goodnight thread... until next time.
>>84290418I'm not sure if I buy sapient reptiles and birds in Zootopia. I know it's cartoon, but the premise kind of hinges on the idea that without primates around, mammals didn't have as much competition and were able to evolve to fill the roles of humans. That's a bit of a stretch already, but it's stretching things even further when reptiles, who had a hundred million years living in an ideal climate with no competition, did not hold their place as Earth's dominant life form. Some reptiles got lucky and evolved into mammals and birds, but aside from a few places on earth that retain their primordial environment (like the swamps of Florida, for example) most of the planet is not hospitable to reptiles larger than your hand or forearm. And birds are the youngest of the animal families, and face the problem of not having been around long enough to plausibly evolve to intelligence at the same time as mammals.Basically, Reptiles had their chance and blew it, and Birds arrived on the scene too late to catch up with Mammals.Of course, all of this is assuming that there isn't some sci-fi hook in Zootopia that we don't know about, like their whole planet being a biological and sociological experiment on terraformed Mars set up by humans. At that point, everything I said before goes out the window because we're dealing with a higher intelligence governing the logic of the universe.
>>84290492We already know Fish are fair game. They have fish markets in Tundra Town.
>>84291350>terrorism plotBeen there, done that.
Alright /co/ consider this. Zootopia 2 is based off of The Dark Knight. Replace Batman with our heros and insert a disneyfied villain with his/her sick, twisted personality + tragic backstory, meanwhile Nick and Judy's relationship is explored. Boom. We keep it PG and the sequel does better than the original. Thank you.
So what happened to the Megafauna in Zootopia if there were no humans around to kill them off?Do Zootopians know the last ice age as "the age of giants," and was there some kind of war between the smaller mammals and the northern hemisphere mega fauna that resulted in the extinction of mega fauna? Maybe the mega fauna were living as gods and forcing the smaller animals to serve and worship them, and eventually the smaller animals rebelled?Shit, I'm going full Byron.
>>84291433Everything around this movie is either weird or crazy.Starting with the noir film premise of protozootpia through weak marketing aimed at disturbing people(furries) to quick release of bluray/dvd.There were so sure about the old script there are even rendered Disney infinity figures, who the fuck would buy a fig of a fox with tame collar on?Also I don't want to associate that guy with Smugsbando, he reaks of a jaded asshole, Nick is much more endearing.

>>84292968It doesn't really come close, but Black Cauldron had huge sections of the film cut before the release because Disney felt they were too violent. Someone high up at Disney (I think either Roy Disney or Michael Eisner, I suddenly can't remember my Disney timeline) saw a nearly finished rough cut, including the villain's death where he gorily melts Raiders of the Lost Ark style, and started threatening to fire people.Black Cauldron was originally intended to be Disney's answer to the success of Lord of the Rings, being a animated dark fantasy film aimed more at teens and adults than kids. When it came out though, audiences and critics complained that it was too boring, and they couldn't tell if it was for kids or adults. The reason why is because most of the action sequences were missing, since they were violent. It ended up only getting about 2/3 of Lord of the Rings' box office take, and it was made on a bigger budget. It also didn't enjoy any of the lucrative merchandising success that Lord of the Rings had, aside from the computer game which was small potatoes at the time compared to toys, books, board games, etc.
>>84292143Didn't the creators say that there are other types of animals but they live on other continents
Was it a fluke that the movie turned out so well?
>>84294411I think one of them said something about it at one point, but they never address it at all in the movie. It's one of those things where it seems like they left it out on purpose, because they could decide later that they want intelligent reptiles and birds, but it's not relevant to the plot so you might as well assume only mammals are smart. It was a can of worms that is either so important that they don't want to open it unless they can dedicate a whole movie towards it, or it's so unimportant that they'd rather not address it at all.
>>84294440It would be more accurate to say it was a fluke that it got greenlit, and a very coordinated effort to make sure it actually ended up being good.

Zootopia was better than Finding Dory. Dory felt like they were "playing it safe" by comparison. I don't have high hopes for Moana, they seem to be focused on Polynesian culture, and good stories transcend cultures. I'm calling it: Zootopia is best animated film of 2016.

>>84299307ya, gazelle felt tacked on in a crassly commercial way. I agree some more story involvement would've made it less distracting that she was there just to sell merch and make a catchy promotional song.other stuff:- all we see before Nick's big cynical shpiel is a shopkeeper who's kind of a dick (which in the alternate scene is because the popsicle was too big and would make a mess, not just because he was a fox). So his "pred/prey don't all get along" thing almost felt unwarranted. The scout scene later kind of helps, but still feels overly simplistic. I'm guessing this is a side effect of his tribulations being well fleshed out in proto-zootopia and that species-tensions (pre-conspiracy) are virtually nonexistent in the final version.- "cute" being offensive and clawhauser's kludgy dialogue about stereotyping. Felt too straightforward, even for a kids movie. The cute rabbit thing seemed like it was thrown in to obfuscate analogs of animal groups to race/religion/etc.. (not that that was a bad idea, it's just out of the blue and unclear why it's offensive).- why didn't they just show bogo the traffic cam footage of the savage manchas?- oh yeah, the ending did kind of feel like it fell together really quickly- more finnick pls

>>84307804>"Hey, it talks! I wonder what it s--">"OH GOD MAKE IT STOP! IT HURTS SO MUCH! KILL ME! KILL ME! [Unintelligible screams and sobbing]
>>84306881copied from: https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/3912575/#3915060>yeah, that yt guy is pretending to be an insider or something. He's really just scavenging already released scraps either from concept art, the documentary, blu-ray extras, animator demo reels, etc... The one useful service I guess is that he's putting them all into one place.grade-A wank
>>84308136>>84308392>>84308881What? What? What?
>>84294403Rage seethes into the bottom of my stomach each time I hear this story. Why are all executives such piles of shit. Is it in the job description.
Rest in bread, thread
Just going to chuck this here because >>84310051.I know it's not finished, but it was nice to figure out render times
>>84310115I like the squish and stretch in her head
>>84310179Brutally killing her gives me an excuse as to why she looks a bit robotic at the end
>>84310115Make a Judy cutely rotating her head. pic related
>>84310474I could attempt to. Expect something that looks creepy rather than cute, mind you
I hate the early stages of a franchise where there is nothing to go full neckbeard with. Guess I'll stay in /swco/ til there are a few more films and a tv series. It hurts because Zootopia is the first franchise in decades where half my interest isn't the porn of the female characters. There is an innocent charm I thought lost to me.
>>84273798>>84273789These were scenes were from the original script. The story was originally meant to focus on Nick. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv1FkXDSNXA
I generally hate all new movies so I didn't have high hopes for this one. But I'm genuinely surprised at how good it was, it has that classic Disney charm to it. It almost made me feel like a kid again.
>>84299414You joke but I'd be alright with that.
Who do you think would admit their feelings first?
>>84310902Between a sincere and earnest character and an irreverent and composed character? Not really much of a contest unless Nick figured out his emotions faster. Which is possible.
>>84310902I'm gonna go with Nick. Judy would probably feel like it was inappropriate given that they work together and she's probably much less experienced with romantic relationships than Nick and might just consider whatever she's feeling is just a phase or immature nonsense.
I have to admit I liked Zootopia far more than expected, and it hurts because it could be a while before we get new material, let alone anything like a sequel.
I thaught it was GRRREAT
Guys i bought the Bluray and watched all deleted scenes, i feel like i've watched zootopia 2. Are the parts also on youtube? I hope so.
>>84312326I took a look; couldn't find anything. I'm glad I found this thread. Forgot to go on here after this came.
>>84312366just found someone who uploaded the stuff. Also things that havent been on the Bluray. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFsMOgafGcz2ro44CyN9SOw/videos
>>84312456danka anon. I lost my reaction folder a while back. So text must suffice.
>>84312537found this right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNY3TBMILgIIt would have been a completly diffrent movie.
>>84312660Yeah bruv this whole thread is worth a read if you want to know how garbage this movie almost was.
http://tooneguy.deviantart.comThis guy has a hate-boner for it!
>>84312720Autism. Plain and simple.
So to get the conversation moving again, I keep thinking about different paths their lives could have taken>Nick joins the Ranger Scouts>Nick helps judy but doesn't join the police force>Judy surrenders her badge to Bogo >There is no missing mammal case and Judy meets nick on the street every day on the jobSo many different ways these two character's lives could intersect.
>>84312696i will read it. After i watched the video. But i dont think the idea is so shity. It's just not an normal Disney movie anymore. plus, i think it would have been super long, or splitted in diffrent movies. I mean there's so much stuff going on. I like the movie how it is now. But the delted scenes are awsome. Just those diffrent Plot Ideas where ... naah, just doesnt feel right.
>>84299307The rushed pacing and conclusion around the climax and the same obvious surprise villain twist which is getting old real fast but they still do it because Hans was such a big surprise..
>>84312828yep. And i kinda wanna see all of these ways.
>>84312903The worst part was between the press confrence and the make up with Nick. We didn't really get to feel the city breaking. I also thought the nighthowler reveal was a bit weak.
>>84312993The make up while heartwarming is a little too rushed, I wished they had more of a build-up or a earlier break-up like around the time in Lionheart's prison.
>>84313033Actually, I think the make up was fine. If Nick is anything like me, he would have forgiven Judy a long time ago, he just wanted to get a reaction from her.
>>84312831The first draft of any script is usually garbage.
>>84312828>Nick and Judy fail to sneak past the timber wolves and have to fight their way in>Judy shows off her police combat training>Nick has more a bar room brawl style
>>84303425Yes. He was cute.
>>84292430There was the museum scene, it featured a mammoth.
>>84293268You must have been watching "life of Boris".
>>84310603I dont mind, it would also look cute xD
>>84314225I'll give it a go over the next few days then. Who knows if we'll even have threads in a few days for me to post it in..
>>84314280Don't scare me anon D: You're a soldier now, we need fresh content
>>84314724That's incredibly depressing. How has it come to this?
>>84310902Nick would recognize his feelings, but Judy would admit it first.
