>>82378785>>82381841>TV showNo. Fuck no. Why do people want to watch a shitty low budget piece of crap that will undoubtedly end up in the toddler version of Disney Channel? This movie had some of the best attention to detail in recent animation. It also wasn't afraid to add nods for more mature audiences with jokes that fly over children's heads. Why the fuck do you want all that ruined with shitty 20 minutes episodes with lame plots? It would not end up being Julian style CGI. It would not even end up being 2D in the style of the concept art. It will most assuredly end up being crappy stylized 2D typical of Disney toddler shows.Ask and hope for a big screen sequel, and pray they don't make a TV show.

I just started watching this. 5 minutes in and the premise is already retarded. A newborn lamb is larger than a young fox. Weasels are incredibly small. The farm animals would've been able to kick their assess easily.

>>82386458>>82386527Well, I'm a huge fan of the whole Gideon x Travis thing because it just makes a nice story, but as much as it pains me to say this, either of them being gay has no basis in the film other than being based on/voiced by a gay guy. That being said, you could just (and by you, I mean me) assume that they were both in the closet, so neither would get bullied for it.Also, the guys next door is, I think, definitely a gay couple, but so well-hidden that they might as well not be in the movie. They have the same (hyphenated) last name but are different species - there aren't many scenarios that could result in this.

>>82378785>>82381841>>82382364>>82388245I actually want a Zootopia TV show, hear me out. There's no fucking way they'd turn it into educational television and air it on Disney Jr. They won't make ANY money there, fucking ZERO. Disney Jr. is an awful channel to have ads on, and companies know that. It's literally the channel that parents leave on for their children to keep them distracted while they do something else. 90% of the ads played on that channel don't find their demographic, because almost every receiver tuned into it is a parent in the kitchen and a 3 year old asleep on the couch. Disney XD or channel, on the other hand, or, hell, even a Netflix partnership, would require the audience to actually search for the show, and as a result, would lead to a large yet comparatively homogenous viewer base. The ads would be more specialized, and, as a result, would be willing to pay higher revenue. As for the people saying the original talent wouldn't be there, how so? Byron and Rich loved this working on this movie, and I have a pretty good feeling neither one wants to shunt it off to the side until later. They're probably pushing for continuations too. The CGI would probably have to be either downgraded, or, the episodes would be released in batches, a season at a time. Or maybe just a whole new art style. The VA's aren't a problem, Goodwin and Bateman aren't exactly being dragged all over Hollywood, their schedules would be somewhat free. The only one who would be difficult to get a hold of is probably Shakira, and Gazelle's a minor character anyhow. The storytelling opportunities would be there, it'd be nice to have something to tie us over until the sequel. >>82389183What's wrong with the cops? I would like to post some poses I made in blender with the HQ judy rig and receive prompts for new pictures. Is it safe to do it here or I'm better off in the off-topic thread?
>>82389331Eh, I'd say they generally get bad rep because a news story about a cop killing a child/young black man is MUCH more interesting and gains far more attention than a cop actually doing his job, i.e. helping old ladies cross the street or reporting traffic violations. Only if they really do something outstanding, like save a jumper's life or stop a bank robbery, does the media shine a positive light on them, but in most cases they focus on cops doing what is often seen as the wrong choice only at a glance. This makes it *seem* like cops only do bad things, but it's just over-exaggerating the issue -- if you can even call it that. Think of it like how a big airliner crashing with 150+ fatalities makes for big headlines, and gives off the assumption that air travel isn't safe, but statistically air travel is the safest form of travel in the world. You run a much higher risk of dying in a car than a plane, but generally people feel safer in a car.

We both saw it and started joking about how the furfags would have a field day with this, but all the while I think we were both somewhat interested. So if Judy didn't let her prejudice against foxes lead her in the beginning and follow Nick into that ice cream parlor then we would have gotten the original Zootopia story after a couple of years right?I mean she wouldn't have identified the Pawsicle in the photo so no lead, turning to Bellweather for resources and help would have still led her to Mr Big and got her back on track But without Nick to feel guilty over her prejudice would feel confirmed, she would be drawn closer and closer to Bellweather and become the face of the ZPD.Stereotyping can save the future

>>82390172>posting my waifuEXCELLENT TASTE
>>82390122I wouldn't really say Nick and Ellis get along in L4D2 because Nick doesn't really get along with anybody. Being in a life of crime and drifting from city to city, he knows not to make friends and his smug, condescending attitude is probably not to hide how he really feels (like Nick Wilde), but to just make people not want to like him and guarantee that avoids close relationships. Nick eventually gives in and trusts other Survivors with his life by the end of L4D2, but it's still a stretch to say he really "gets along" with any of them on a personal level, even near the end of the game.Ellis is also the brunt of most of Nick's jokes, mainly making fun of his funny accent ("You could almost call this the 'cee-ment' river, Ellis" or "Y'all wanna stop shooting me?") or his way of living ("Look, Ellis, a tractor!" or "Hey, Ellis, you like taters?" to name a few), when he's not making fun of Coach for his weight. Funny enough, the one person in the group who seems to get the least of Nick's shit is Rochelle.

They're a smaller market so we weren't expecting something like a $50 million weekend or anything, but they can be consistent and rack up tickets over time.

>>82393336Only if the sequel also has a scene where Judy shows Nick how to dress himself properly

In which part of Zootopia is Judy's department?>>82392918>>82393411>>82393446Why did Nick wear a suit in ProtoZootopia?
>>82393539Because his father wanted to start a tailoring businessTo be frankly honest I kinda hate how they had him dress poorly in the final cut, for someone who's all about maintaining an exterior appearance it's weird how he just gives up when it comes to clothing.
>>82393539>Why did Nick wear a suit in ProtoZootopia?SHHHDo you really want someone to post the webm of Nick's dad trying to open suit topia?
>>82393460Alternatively>Judy does some digging and finds out Nick's dad was a tailor >everyone who knew him said he was a great guy all around>Nick idolized and picked up a love of suits from him>dad dies>isn't there to pick Nick back up after the muzzling>Nick degenerates into con-artistry>feels like he let down both of his parents>thus is unworthy to wear a suit like his dad>takes Judy's coaxing before he starts accepting that maybe he is good enough after all

>>82393675>implying you had any control over thisEveryone is going to fag the characters in almost every medium, it wasn't anyone in particular
Wait, this comic is out in Japanese now too? Is it in one of the English-released books yet?
>>82393613I hope they do something like this, because Nick's dad deserves to have more known about him, let alone even a mention that he ever existed after the original script was tossed. If they do talk about him, I wonder if they'll still go with the "he was a tailor" route from the original script, or if they'll change it to something else. Him as a tailor would be kinda neat though
>>82393723yeah, but it's nice to feel vindicated when you were once mocked, but now shitpost as one with myriad others
>>82393784That's because earlier on the normies were all over the threads since the movie was new. Everyone left here now are a bunch of degenerate faggots like me
>>82393782I just hope he's still a good guy like in the concept art. Turning him into some kind of asshole who abandoned Nick feels too easy and a cheap source of drama. Most dads get a bad rap in modern media anyway, so subversions are appreciated.

>>82393861Cassim had a decent reason at least. He was trying to make a better life for his wife and son and ended up staying away too long.
>>82393825>yfw due to Fox patronizing he had to overwork whatever he could get and couldn't spend any time with Nick
>>82393912They pretty much always do that for kids books. And sometimes they're for such young kids that they'll even add furigana on the side of katakana.
Someone get the new thread ready, just make sure to mention Zootopia in the subject or the OP.
>>82394078>your orthography is so weird you need to put the simplified version for kidsdammit japan just switch to kana
