So we can all agree they are just good friends. Right?
They yiffed in the car, right after the credits.
The majority wants them to fuck, but I actually like them a lot better as good friends. And this is coming from a furry degenerate.
What was rue name of that cute gay fox? The one who plays babyfur so well you just want to pick him up and use like a fleshlight? Tinny faggot thinking he's tough, but is just a baby with deep voice.
>>82125079Finnick, but word of the studio says that's just a nickname (he refuses to disclose his real name)

>>82125493Not Nick though.
>>82124787Uh. Yeah? it's canon in the movie and both movie creators have confirmed it. You'd be pretty dumb to think they were anything else.....Now the problem here is that they SHOULD be something more and everyone wants them to be, so they kinda fucked up. Gotta wait 4+ years for a sequel now
>>82125564fox repellent you doof, which in her world is probably just pepper spray with a few things added to target foxes

>>82124787Yes. Forever. Rabbits and Foxes can't mix.
>>82125468Clawhauser and Gideon are pretty strong contenders. Bellwether would probably be pretty good too, assuming she doesn't do anything weird.
>>82125595>Now the problem here is that they SHOULD be something moreNo they fucking shouldn't. Shoehorned romance is the worst.
>>82125601Worth it. No bunny must go unkissed, no exceptions.
>>82125605I feel like Lionheart is the kinda guy who is either very rough during sex or is the kinda guy who looks all imposing at first but actually has a fetish for being dominated

>that strawpoll race
>>82125635what about Judy's 275 siblings though?>>82125637not gonna lie the Ratchet and Clank movie looks like it's going to have way too many over-used video game jokes forced in, and the overall plot summery sounds kinda shit, so my only hope is that it doesn't turn out to be as generic as the trailers make it out to be
>>82125684>losing by 9FUGGGG
>>82125625Did you get friend zoned too many times in high scool or something, or are you just beta as fuck? Nick and Judy are a perfect match for each other on a romantic level, what the fuck else would they do just wait for "someone better" ? match Judy up with Gideon? get a grip, it's obvious they should be together. The first movie didn't take it in that direction because it needs to establish friendship and it WOULD be shoehorned in the last 10 minutes. A romance in the sequel would be no more "shoehorned" than the friendship that was established in 1 hour and 48 minutes in the first.Everyone (but you and like 10 other people on the planet) want itDev team wants itsCasuals want itNick and Judy want itIt's only a matter of time

>>82126331Want you to say that after she knocked out that rhino.
I find it so fake that Judy graduated "top of her class" or was it top of the academy? that would make it even worse.I mean yeah she's tough as fuck and goes through all the training, but top of the class? that's a bit much. In the montage we see she won't always have the means to take down a rhino/elephant if she ever has to fight another, nor will she have other animals as stepping stools to jump fucking glaciers. I feel like a larger mammal would have been top of the class, Judy is stronk but c'mon, that's a bit much
>>82126212One of them's going to end up like pic related in the next movie
>>82126232>implying this isn't bait
I dislike foxes
>>82126369The song, Try Everything, implies it is okay for mistakes to be made and failures to happen. However, a police officer has no margin for error, as the killing of Akai Gurley by the mistake of rookie NYPD officer Peter Liang demonstrates. In this profession, mistakes have severe consequences and ruin lives. Judy's wish to be a police officer no matter how ill suited she is for the job is pure selfishness. Rather than serving society, she is making it worse
>>82126409They look like ginger cats at night. I see them running around when I'm driving home.Foxes are weird.

>>82126494Nothing of importance was lost, best route was already completed long ago
>>82126405> Judy's wish to be a police officer no matter how ill suited she is for the job is pure selfishnessHAHAha..!! Oh wait, you were serious. Welp, apparently she persevered and passed all the requirements to graduate. Sounds like you harbour a bit of jealousy because she pursued her dream and succeeded, where as you may have not. It's normal to dick someones success to mask your own failure. Not very nice but hey... keep trying, champ. Eventually you will get to wherever ya wanna be, or at least learn your own limitations (or not).
Why did Judy instinctively reach for her weapon when under threat by Nick but not when under threat by a crazy panther?
>>82126405>the killing of Akai Gurley by the mistake of rookie NYPD officer Peter LiangNow I want to see Judy shooting someone by accident and to drink her tears during the subsequent trial while she is hounded by the media, gets suspended and eventually is sentenced to several years of probation and loses her job
Disney knew what it was doing. And this movie is too fucking strong. Everyone seem to fall in love with everyone and been shipping it constantly. With the directors encouraging it too. This train is never going to stop is it?
>>82126646Because she graduated top of her class. She assessed the situation in an instant and prepared appropriately. A kitty gone psycho prob would't stop because he got spicy eyes, but Nick would.Analogy: You wouldn't use a .38 to stop a grizzly attack, but prob would use it to stop the nignogs who just busted down your front door.
Does Japan have full anthro furfaggotry or is it mostly animal ears + tail on otherwise human characters?

>>82127008Even in a dystopia?
>>82127036I'm glad they didn't. I can't see the shock collars working for the movie they wanted to make. Not only that I felt doing so makes it too in you face. Not saying the racism message wasn't subtle but it's not as in your face as that would be.
>>82126028>>82126072>>82126056You did the same for Lola Bunny and Gadget when you were 8 you faggots. Little girls also did had crush on Chip or Robin Hood. Don't make it look like Nick is some special event of furry history.
>>82124787In other fandoms I've come across the term "Friendshipping", which I've not really heard in these Zootopia threads, but I think it's pretty appropriate for how I like to see it ... you know, they're cute together, and they're kind of a thing, without being all rose petals and aggressive sex
>>82126065It's the highest rated Disney movie on RT to date and with a vast universe to explore.. Its bound to have a sequel, comics and tv series.
Defences should be fine as long as she doesn't pull 'Bambi Eyes' on.......aww... dammit we're fucked.
>>82127064There's a pretty big difference between kids of the 90s thinking a character like Lola was hot and either got over it or became furries and grown adult women admitting on social media that they would want to fuck a walking, talking fox
>>82125595Nah, that's not a problem.Be honest, ~50% of these threads and all the online traffic has been hopps/wilde shipping; if it was explicit in the movie no one would be anything like as excited about it. It's a tease, that's why people got hooked.Whether the hook lasts long enough for the sequel is debatable ... but interest can be resurrected from hibernation if you don't leave it too long.
>>82127064Internet is a much bigger thing now. With how sharing is and social media I feel Nick and Judy will draw in more furries than back in the 70's and 90's.
>>8212621280% of the audience self insert into a bunny to have sex with Nick or into Fox to have sex with Judy. The only logical thing to do is to canonise them for a huge fanpandering orgy.
>>82127095What the fuck is this shitty gif you fuck
>>82125856>82125897What he said. Are you frigging nuts, I mean sure Zootopia is a cool place, but the reason people keep going back to the cinema is because of Nick and Judy being cool, funny, awesome, and cute together . They're hardly going to do a Frozen sequel centred entirely around the Duke of Weaselton are they
>>82126919Nick don't do males
>>82126902That one on the left is bretty gud desu
>>82126369It's not about having boxing ropes to bounce off of or climbers to step on, it's about how she quickly adapted to each situation in a way that allowed her to clear an obstacle with her size not being an issue but rather an advantage. If she was chasing down someone in Tundratown she would still find a way up that ice wall because she's quick to find a solution and she's very resourceful. The part where she put that parking ticket on a giraffe's very tall van is proof of that: she uses her environment and her unique skills as a rabbit to reach the windshield without breaking a sweat. When chasing down Weaselton through Little Rodentia, she was able to get to him fast by sliding through the entrance the way only a burrowing animal could, she hardly misses a beat when those buildings tip over, and her size is an extreme advantage because those other cops who are much larger would fuck shit up most likely. Judy proves throughout the film that she's quick and clever in a way that's extraordinarily perceptive of each situation. Not to mention she'd probably be the best at taking tests and clearly she has every law and clause memorized to the letter. Being a cop isn't just about being able to knock the shit out of people (most cops don't know that, but I digress), it's about resolving a situation in an optimal way, whether that's knowing your shit or keeping up or, well, beating the shit out of people.>>82126405But Judy's not ill-suited for the job, she kicks ass at it. She can do things other cops can't. And she never harmed her fellow police officers or innocent civilians. She wants to help people, how is that selfish if she's good at it?
>>82126065>Disney's biggest ever movie>B moviekek
>>82127157Honestly I wouldn't mind a new character. While I love to see more of a conclusion for the two I mostly would love to see more of that city. We only really seen 2 other places (Tundra and Rainforest) outside of the main hub. I want to know more of it personally. There's so many things about that city that is unexplained/explored. Hell have it all about a new character but in the end have Judy and Nick be at the end walking away holding hands or something to give the shippers what they want. While not really being bind by the restrictions that it have to be a story about Judy and Nick.
>>82127095The difference is called "twitter" and "attentionwhoring". The sxuality of people is the same. Even people in medieval times would pop a boner if they had an anthro cartoon characters.
>>82126369It's the Mulan approach. She uses her brains to get round the fact that she's not the biggest or the toughest. Pretty legit - and the boxing ring scenario showed how she could even take on a hulking big criminal if she had to.Even though in reality, Judy's best deployment on the force would be in places (like Little Rodentia) where her size and agility would be a major advantage over a fucking rhinoWhen you think about it, the ZPD should really be full of bunnies and mice and weasels as well as rhinos and wolves; so they can tackle all situations.
>>82127254there's a mouse police officer seen on the main promo poster, so presumably Rodentia has its own police force of similar-size citizens. Rabbits and weasels are just at the smallest end of the main city's police force and until now have always been undervalued in favour of hulking brutes, both prey and pred.
Workan on something involving Nick's mom.
>>82127254Hell Judy running into Little Rodentia was the best case that could happen. Why did they think a fucking elephant or other like size beings in there would be better?
>>82127294While I appreciate rough drawingsI literally haven't a fucking clue what's happening
>>82127294what exactly is happening here, where's Nick stuck in
>>82127299>>82127254Why do people bring up the little rodentia thing like Judy would be the only solution to it over and over? or any small cop at all? the rhinos and other ZPDs as per their police protocol would (I would assume) surround the entire town so weaselton can't escape. They would have a way to handle this situation that doesn't involve stomping through the town, they wouldn't just say "welp fuck it, the town is too small and we're too big, let the rober go"
>>82127095Even though that is the shittiest gif on earth, what is the actual source? I've been wondering for a while. Is it an edit that originally said something else?
>>82127294I have no clue what's happening, I'm just going to say that Nick knotted Judy and she's stuck and needs olive oil to let her free
>>82127337It's an edited ad, the original print out is just saying the date of release
>>82127157Oh I mean sure, but you do a bit of both. Take your favourite characters - Nick and Judy - put them in a new place within Zootopia, and they meet some new friends. It's classic sequel formula and it works; a bit of what you recognise and remember, and some fresh new stuff too.The key is not to go all one or the other. All new stuff and people miss what they enjoyed before; no new stuff and it feels like a boring retread copout.
>>82127199I could not have said that better myself.10/10.
>>82127348Ah, I see. Thanks, I've been wondering. Any links to the orignal ad with the date on it, just out of interest?
>>82127332The idea is to make sure you know where the guy is at all times. It's like if someone is let loose in downtown in New York and instead of blocking him off they just block off downtown in hoping to block off him. And there's no reason not to give chase anyways. They never really gave Judy any explanation on what they would do anyways. If Bogo gave her the plan they were going to do yeah you are right but all he said was "you ran in there without orders" which I can't see any real problem since he could have easily escaped if all they did was block off Little Rodentia.
with all the background details snuck in, was there ever any indication bug burga was still a thing?
>>82127357JESUS CHRIST THAT LIGHTING
>>82127394what about it?
>>82127199What's really interesting to me is that not only does Judy take advantage of her environment but she also takes advantage of her position as a cop, such as tricking Nick into breaking into the limo rental lot for "probable cause" and blackmailing him to get infoObviously given the context, she would have probably been more ethically responsible as an officer if she wasn't presented with desperate deadlines to meet, but she is shown to be the only cop in the film to actually use her power to get her way
>>82126232Excuse me, sir. But do you know that you're heretic?
>>82127440it's a classic scenario of morality vs ethics. Police conduct by the letter of the law she knew, but she was willing to breach the spirit of the law (ethics) in the name of a genuinely good cause (morality).
>>82127389They said bug burga is the main fast food place and insects are the primary source of protein.
>>82127389The directors said that it's in the background. This is why I only really watched the movie once in theater but going to rewatch it at home. So I can pause and back up to try to notice all the background stuff.
Is the shitty HIVE cam still the best cam available?
>>82127466I mean obviously cops will tend to bend the law and ethical codes if they feel it necessary, but I am surprised that the film didn't actually get super heavy into commentary on police and actually make the protagonist the most ethically questionable cop of the cast
>>82127488Yes, but I downloaded a TS yesterday with 10/10 sound. Literally made the movie so much better
>>82127294You acutally need to try making a coherent drawing. I have no idea if its about a fox or bald anon.

>>82127523Save it for the sequel I guess. They can't just ignore the fact that ZPD seems to be primarily composed of massive knuckle draggers forever. Nor can they run away from Judy's ties to organized crime forever.

>>82127551The only trouble with that is Judy's badge says "ZPD", ZOOTOPIA Police Department, not Central PD, not Large Mammal PD, Zootopia PD. In the 22nd of February 2018, there will be a sequel announced. The movie will release in 2020. Nick and Judy will some time in the movie be involved in a romantic relationship because the executives know that that's what people crave and will make the most money.
>>82127710without Lionheart's selfishly popularity-driven "mammal outreach program" she never would have been able to become a cop, because they would have absolutely excluded her before she got to training. Even with expertise in law and peak physical fitness, she'd have been given a rabbit-sized desk job. While his initiative was probably not well-meaning, it did lead to Judy and Nick becoming members of the force and likely opening up a mid-sized police force between the Rodentia force and the huge-heavy Zootopia force (who already did have wolves, clocking in at a "meagre" 6ft or so)

These threads are so comfy. I can't wait for the DVD to come out so I can just soak up the background details and the atmosphere of the city again. I hope these threads don't take a dive between then and now.In related news, we finally have Desmond/Molly cucking.
>>82127862i know it's a pun on fennec-nick, but we gotta accept it's his real name, because every merch with him has that name, too late for change unless they'll pull lyra heartstrings on him
>>82127785Rubber gloves,shirtless... I think I understand this reference.
I think "just friends" is Byron trying to keep Nick's sexuality vague because he wants to fug the fox.

Cops, always hassling the ~little guy~. Ba-dum tshhh.Wonder what he pulled them over for? Probably no front plate.
Think nick wears those aviators to bed?
>>82127899I think it's his "real name" with regard to merch and how he personally identifies, I just think he wasn't born with that name and his legal name is actually something really goofy that he loathes.
>>82127925Ive never been to a state that needs a front license plate. Is this a eurocuck thing?
>>82127946Why the fuck wouldn't you have a front plate?
>>82127910Directors talked about their kid would be a hybrid.

>>82127961Plates cost 75 bucks in my state.
>>82127946Yeah, here in butt-fuck Canada most of the provinces require front plate. I'm in BC, I got a $75 fine for not having one and as the small town Mountie wrote me up I asked him for his opinion on the scale of severity of not having a front plate vs. fully 1/3:of the cars going by us that night with burned out headlights. I dont recall his answer but it was less than intelligent, as would be expected from the RCMP. But i digress...
