Let's talk about this movie, /co/.What do you hope to see in the sequel?
The plot of Lethal Weapon 2 but with talking animals. Also shipping I guess
>>81200829tough to say, they did such a good world building that it's kind of hard to conceptualize how to go further without rehashing. that's the curse of a really good first movie is you have to double the quality to be on-par in the sequel.
if we get a sequel keep the mystery stuff but switch to some different characters, also pick a non-racism metaphore
>>81200845>LW2 with Zootropolis castBueno
>>81200829This
>>81200829>the building shaped like a dragon dildo
>>81200829>it will take 4-5 years for a sequel to come out>at least 4-5 yearsI can't wrap my head around it anons, waiting that long. I mean, Jesus, by that time I am gonna be 25-27 when the next film comes out.
>>81200937I can't unsee this now.GOD FUCKING DAMNIT
>>81200829and this
>>81200829I want to see more of the other districts in Zootopia. We only caught glimpses of each and I would love to see more. Also, see any other locations around Zootopia. Also, the two main characters not hooking up. I really like them just as buddies/best buddies more than anything.
>>81200932how does this even workdifferent fucking geneticsholy fuck imagine the blood banks and surgeons? you'd need like, 100x the amount of specialists we have now adays and blood sources and organ donors etc.BIOLOGICALLY THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE OF LOGISTICS
>>81200829I'm not sure actually. All I really want is a Bellweather cameo when they put the perp away.>also mfw I got a warning from the mod attack on the last threadCheers, cunts.
>>81200954Life goes on. I was able to wait 14 years to see a t-rex finally claim its throne back and kick another big-ass dinosaur ass; I can wait half a decade for zootopia.
>>81201101Those are Judy's siblings theatre fawning over him, not their children you slapnut.
>tfw you'll never have a friend as good as Judy
>>81201101Those are just Judy's siblings.
>>81201193Doesnt change the point: Hospitals would be a nightmare.
>>81200829I would actually prefer a prequel were we get to see how finnick and nick met and how they both learned to commit elaborate scams.
>>81201231Same as the vet. You have your specialists and general practitioners for specific species.
>>81201204>you will never have a friends as supportive as Judy>You will never have a friend whose overwhelming positivity and determination will brighten up your day no matter what >You will never have on-topic discussions with Judywhy even live
Missed the party in the last threadI had just finished my Defense and Arrest Tactics refresher training the day before Zootopia was released in the US.This job kicks ass
>>81201368It's nice to see people making the world a better place for us little guys ;).Respect, man.
>>81201368I just got out of the military, I got a bunch of money saved up so I don't have to work for like 10 years, but I'm thinking about becoming a cop, how is it? >>81201204shitty feel desu
Anyway you bunch of gays the other NYPD guy who posted last was fake but I'm back.Being messing around on a site where some guys I know get extra uniforms and equipment from and it has its own make your own bage thing so I thought I would give it ago. What you think?
>>81201462From the military, a piece of cake, you have a better chance of getting hired by that alone. The biggest thing you need is people skills, you have those, youre golden. Follow up on applications, too. It can take some time. I applied for my department back in october and just started in February.

>>81201697>>81201725Well? Mods? You fucking assaulted the last thread but you're lightening quick reflexes don't apply to this shit?
>>81201835Go on
>>81200829ZPD figures something sketchy is going on at Wild-Times amusement park. Nick is the only officer cunning enough to infiltrate. Can he keep his loyalties or will he go feral.
>>81200829>What do you hope to see in the sequel?Zootopia wrapped up perfectly. There is no need for a sequel. Zootopia was great, and now it's time to wait for Moana and Gigantic. I want Walt Disney Animation Studios to not be flooded with sequels but continue to make new, original movies.
>>81201188If she does appear in the sequel, I want a scene of this. It would be too good to pass this up.
something thats like a metaphor for drug abuse and drug smuggling and judy as to go undercover as a prostitute
>>81200829A Psycho Pass crossover would be sweet tbqh
>>81201938Moana is probably not going to do as well in international markets. About the same as Frog Princess.
>>81201799Holy fuck how did you know? Also Department issued, waiting for my Galls belt to replace it
>>81201956>silence of the lambssurprised they didn't make that pun in the movie
>>81201928We have three options>A - she's in it for a line or two. "What are you in for", or trying to escape watching Gazelle again ETC>B - ThatOR>C - She goes Daredevil S2 Kingpin and actually impacts the plot to an extent, which would be fuckin' neato since we'd get more of her but I doubt it.
>>81200937It's a gazelle horn, you mong.
>>81202057Woops, replied to the fucked up post>>81201956
>>81201956A single reference to this would have been better than any of the multiple frozen references they did.
>>81201992It's gonna end up being Pocahontas to Zootopia's 'Lion King'.The 'B' movie that Disney underestimated and, therefore, had less executive meddling in ends up the critical and audience darling while the supposed 'A' film that Disney puts all of their executive control into will probably end up a bland mess of a film that people forget in favor of the 'B' movie. That Zootopia features talking animals and Moana features a more 'ethnic' princess only adds to this speculation.
>>81202057Very high doubt on the last option. That's just my opinion, though. I would figure the writers would want to use a new antagonist(s) for the sequel
>>81200829i am torn, on one hand i want a sequel but on the other hand i think the world of Zootopia doesn't give a another story.
>>81202208>multiple Frozen referencesThere was only the 'Let it Go' quote from Bogo, and the pirated DVD's (and even that was all of Disney's newer films). Was there something else I missed?
>>81202265How? Well built worlds are brilliant for extra stories.
finnick x nick is the best>tfw someone gives you a great review and it brightens up a lame day
>>81202291Duke Weslton vs Duke Weaslton. I actually didn't catch that until my 3rd viewing.
>>81201975Tfw your psycho pass regularly exceeds 300 instability
>>81200829You know what I want?No major overarching plot, no major villain. Just the life and times, both police and civilian, of two rookies as they gradually learn more about eachother and reveal their own strengths and weaknesses along the way.Though, two hours of slice of life probably wouldn't do very well, would it?
>>81202231I doubt it myself desu senpai.A man can dream, anon.
>>81202291there were two elephant children dressed as Ana and Elsa and the weaselton name correction
>>81202315>How? Well built worlds are brilliant for extra stories.but only for a series not a whole movie.
>>81201368>>81201622What about for civilians? Im getting my b.a. in cyber security but might just become a cop anyway, would it be alonger process?
>>81201188>warning from the mod attack on the last threadYou're lucky you got a warning, I got banned from /b/ for three fucking days because of this.
>>81202399What if they did a mini-series with 6 or so episodes per season so they'd be able to animate them to the quality of the film and get the original voice actors to reprise their roles?
>>81200937Speaking of dragons, what are mythological creatures to the people of zootopia? Like dragons or the Loch Ness monster? How does religion work? I want to know
>>81202017Ive spent a good part of my Sargent days making sure recruits stayed as far as possible from that stuff.I've always been a Safari land, if your going to get a good duty belt I would recommend it although it its abit expensive.
>>81200829Naked gun with talking animals.>train captcha
>>81202373Fucks sake though anon the elephants that were dressed up were blink and you'll miss itAnd the correction was not just for Frozen, the guy who voices the weasel played the Duke in Frozen. I can guarantee if it wasn't Tudyk they likely wouldn't have made the joke.>>81202460>Three fucking daysholy fuck why though
>>81202334I really, really want to know what ideas the writers had for the nurse costume for Finnick in the concept art. Also, what else do I want to see in the sequel? More of Finnick.
>>81202366Two options: Turn yourself in or get turned to paste.
>>81202554I've been doing nothing but fucking around on Judy threads for 3 days, so I guess I can go fuck myself in the ass. Ever since then, which was about 4 hours ago, I've seen a single Judy thread on there, and pretty much nobody went to it.I guess the janitors of that place finally decided to put a stop to us because they know we can't do shit about it.
>>81202368True, trueWait, is that... Liquid Bellwether?!
>SequelJust let good movies lie, /co/! You are the reason Shrek became what it did!
>>81202672Shrek 2 was good thoughi thinki haven't seen it in a while
>>81202435Depends on the school, the one i went to there was a 2-year associates program that enveloped a broad spectrum of criminal justice (corrections, fish and game, State and tribal) then after that there was a 720 hr academy. It can be anywhere from 2-5 years. >>81202528I have heard a lot of good things about safariland, a lot of guys here use bianchi and praise it like the second coming. Department requires a nylon look though. Will shop around
I would pick a TV show over a movie any day. Preferably a season-long story arch similar to Gravity Falls
>>81202672Personally, I would don't hate it if Zootopia has a sequel, but I can live in a world where Zootopia has only one movie.
>>81202291The Weasel named Duke of Weaselton, and the two little hippos dressed as the princesses.>>81202718It's still good, anon.
>>81201074This.
>>81202650I'll refer you to my response to it last thread>mfw>>81202658>"We're losing our place in a world that no longer needs us. A world that now spurns our very existence."You tell me, anon.
>>81202598a series that showed some of the other hustles like a bank heist style would be wonderfuli'd settle for any more finnickmy real desire would never happen in a million years
>>81200829Even though I liked and enjoyed Judy's story, I would like a sequel to use some new different critter in a new area of town. I would like if Judy got a TV series.
>>81202738THIS.I've been lurking here for what feels like all day and get involved in the sequel discussion because we know one is very likely coming but I seriously feel a TV show better with small, self-contained buddy-cop stories.
>>81202738>similar to gravity fallssounds good to me>>81202767i should watch it again then
>>81202738I'm sure we can arrange something.
>>81202727So if i graduate with my b.a. I have to go back and do the 2 year course?
>>81202944If we wish for a 2-season Zootopia TV show with the same feel as the movie with an equally strong plot (over-arching and per episode) focusing on the Buddy Cop Adventures of Nick and Judy, what do we lose?
>>81202727>nylonChrist really? My farther always said nylon was military and leather was Law enforcement. Why nylon anyway? It's not one of those department that has over weight swat guys wearing mismatch camo within city limits is it? On a serious note I would suggest looking at a level III Safariland retention holster served me well for years. Does the whole belt have to be nylon or can the holster be leather?
>>81201622no shit? how bout doing counter-terror stuff? Ideally I wanna work with >>81202528 doing counter-terror and not end up getting Judy'd doing metermaid work can you just jump right to an ESU thing out of the Army? or do you have to pay your dues as a patrol cop?
>>81202217I really want Moana to do well. Kinda surprised we didn't get a teaser with Zootopia though, it's coming in November but we've barely seen anything.
>>81203016It's animated in GoAnimate
>>81203112I don't particularly care one way or the other.

>>81203275HOW ABOUT NO

I myself cannot.">>81202658>Wait, is that... Liquid Bellwether?!A few weeks ago I threw the request out there and some anon was nice enough to give us that masterpiece.
>>81203078Everyone pays there dues as a beat cop but as your a veteran of the United States military you do not have to pay for your police exam and the NYPD has a hardon for vets as well.We did just employ an extra nine-hundred counter terrorism officer in our brand new crisis intervention team (CIT)As long as New York City is New York City it will always need police officers and counter terrorism officers.
>>81203407Thanks for making the request, anon.
>>81203407>it's animated by canadiansEven as a French canadian that would make me mad to know that something I like is in the hands of canadian hacks who can't do something good...
>people that actual want a TV series Yeah let's absolutely rape the look and feel of Zootopia by having to comform to a 22 minute budget and screw the character development over with shit stories. How about fucking no. Just wait for the damn sequel and it'll be good.
>>81203189Ok>>81203257I just want both films to be great and to do well, that's all I'm saying.
>>81203020I think the city was looking for a "modern look" whe they decided nylon. I still have no idea why, considering basketweave looks sexy asf. I think the whole setup needs to be nylon or a nylon look. Its really stupid but rules are rules i guess. As far as holsters go we have a dept issued blackhawk serpa level 2, anything besides that we have to buh ourselves but still needs to be nylon or nylon look.>>81203078Idk about the military transition, i came from the civilian side. As far as counter terrorism, again i dont know, all we have is a swat team and we share that with the county sheriff. As far parking duty goes, it doesnt suck that bad, 9 times out of 10 its just an addition to foot patrol. And theres no quota or anything (at least that i know of) if someone is parked like a dick, im probobly gojng to warn them first. You dont want to be "that cop" especially in a small city like mine
>>81203503This!
>>81203503Maybe it would be less of a TV show and more of a TV special type?Yknow, like 8 1 hour episodes released over the course of the whole year?Wishful thinking.
>>81202366I bet Nick has a crime coefficient is over 300. 20 years of tax evasion isn't light.
>>81203503What if they didn't even try to do 3d? What if the cartoon was 2d animated?
>>81203344guilty as charged

>>81203647Huh. That's the very first awesome piece of Gideon fanart i've found.
>>81203642That's why we have the beauty of fanfiction/fandrawings. I feel your pain.Still though, I just want more Finnick stuff in general.
>>81203738WE'RE ALL CUBS OF THE PREYTRIOTS NOW!
>>81202965Any degree even remotely related to law enforcement is a huge step up from the high school graduates. It really depends on what dept you are looking at. Get in touch with the chief or sheriff and ask about requirements, trust me, it wont set you back at all. Every department is different

>>81204165My heart tells me Gazelle but >>81203757Also thanks >>81204184 but it would appear my post got deleted for being only 95% related to discussion.
>>81204165Big Jude
It's kinda weird that, despite Zootopia clearly being a very large sprawling city, we've got a natural history museum, stadium, city hall, police department, and train station all in the same central plaza area. The cities I've lived have those spread out by at least a few blocks.
>>81200829I really just want more interplay between Judy and Nick really. Also, has anyone made a Judy version of this yet?
When does Clawhouser get to catch the Gazelle? Spin-off when?
Anyway, how many districts are there in Zootopia?
>>81200829There will without a doubt not be a sequel. Cap this post.
>>8120430812
>>81203724 Most training for counter terrorism falls under the umbrella of opspec I'm afraid but most people who apply burn out quickly or find out that it really isn't for them. It's just like military boot camp where most of it is in your head and how hard you can push yourself and having the right mentality etc.But once your in it makes all the shit worth it, normally you have to be a beat cop for around four to six years before you can even apply for. Special unit like the ESU.But if you enjoy the job it doesn't really matter.>>81204046>plan clothsKek *plan clothes

>>81204458Sorry I didn't make it clear ESU and counter terrorism and two different departments. To be honest you would be sought after but I haven't heard of anyone getting a waver to get in but I don't think so as being a counter terrorism officer is about being a police officer as hunting terrorists. I really want to see a Police Academy style movie that's just about Nick's time at the academy. Maybe he gets in at first thinking its a cake walk and he'll sail through. But then he starts to run into trouble and wonders if he's good enough and is afraid of letting Judy down. Maybe he even tries to get himself thrown out because he figures that would be easier on Judy than him just dropping out (shifty foxes will be shifty foxes). But of course, his new friends turn him around and some big crisis happens in which he saves the day and gets that final push to get his badge.Michael Winslow cameo as animal plz

How did he get into crime in the first place? When did he start? Where is his mom? How did he get involved with Mr. Big?We don't know. There aren't many mysteries about Judy's life in comparison.
>>81212684>He better not be dating the bunny
>>81212234>Evil/darker parallel universeselves>Judy as a tyrannical police chief/Sheriff of Zootopia>Nick as an Anarchist (not-necessarily good) Resistance fighterWe Praetoria now?
apparently Tangled and Big Hero 6 are getting their own tv shows so hey maybe we can get a Zootopia one some day, that would be rad
>>81212744I get the feeling that they would go full movie sequel for Zootopia.Especially since you can only have so many shows running at once.
>>81212664
>>81212799
>>81212786either way would be fine by me, there was a lot more stuff planned for the movie such as a scene set in a theme park so seeing all the scrapped stuff finally appear would be pretty cool

>>81212834The themepark stuff was from an entirely different draft of the story anon. Not quite the same thing
>>81212700None of that is important to the plot of the movie, so there's no reason to know any of it.we an make any silly thing in a characters past important in a sequel so there's really no reason to get all "he's so mysterious" about any of it.Nick had a simple, but by all depictions a suitably happy one, up until the Ranger's stuff.Nick got into crime because his world view said that this is what foxes do.
>>81212946Well Nick is also like 8 years older than Judy so it stands to reason his mom might be older than them too.Though I guess it depends on how old Judy is compared to her oldest siblings.>>81212977None of it is important to the first movie, but it could be important if they wanted to write a sequel around it.
>>81212946>It's weird that she's drawn that old when Stu and Bonnie didn't age at all in those 15 years. It's fanart. Her face hasn't been revealed yet.

Updating bumps your fic to the top of the recent list, so use those bumps sparingly/strategically to get the maximum reader exposure. Also, update at around 0600 GMT to get the maximum per-day exposure because that's when FFN's clocks reset to the next day. That one's just for cleaner stats.
