I saw the movie last night, and when it was finished I sat in the theater for 10 minutes crying my eyes out. Not because I didn't like the movir, I fucking loved it. Every single minute of this movie was pure bliss to me. No, I was crying because I knew once I left the theater I would have to deal with years of negative backlash from "furfags" and shitposters. This movie was never given a fair shake, I cannot comprehend how something like How to Train your Dragon 2 and Monster's University can get positive threads yet shitposters are falling over themselves to give Zootopia all this shit. I hate to get all conspiratorial, but man it really does make you think. Forget about the shitposters, we know for certain that the fans are rabid furfags. Millions of Dreamworks fans WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE are already starting to crap on the movie and meme this and that. It is fucking ridiculous and the people like me who enjoyed this movie are going to have to suffer through this fur-fag name calling for years. So just fuck you to the people who never even intend to give this movie a fair shake. Fuck you to the shitposters who will make my life hell for the forseeable future. Fuck you.
>>81119494OP, I want a Zootopia thread as much as you, but you should really apply yourself.

I did cry a few times during BvS but that was mostly because I wanted the movie to end and it just refused

Aww shit, Rango is on.
>>81119666But there are at least 2 furry-related threads up right now

>>81119704yeah, but Zootopia is new and popular.
Fuck, i just want to talk about the movie and we get shit threads like this. Thanks for fucking up all the possible discussions.
This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It’s me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you’d see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say “Yup, that’s me”. I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I’m assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I’ve found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It’s really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it’s almost like we’re identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?

>>81120055I dont like your tone man, you sound aggressive
>>81120097I can't argue with that.
The fact that they wanted the Manchas chase to happen at night throws the entire timeline of the movie out of whack if you don't make the connection that in the Rainforest Distrcit it almost looks like it's at least dusk.
>>81120029Nope. They both have traits seen in both races. The president are a minority (black), but are over represented in the media (white?), and, are generally more racially charged in their thoughts and actions. (white)Prey are a majority(white), but are seen as inferior by racially aware preds. (black) They also are also pandered to through identity politics; "Getting the sheep vote." (black, but could be applied to other minority groups.)Nothing in the movie was meant to depict modern day events. Even Byron said this. >>81120515It's been killing it at the box office so far, we'll have to see how Spring Break influences it along with the UK premier. Japan gets it next month, there's speculation that it could out-do Frozen's numbers (250 million) there.

Obviously zootopia had a bit of that going on behind the scenes too but there were some jarring cuts that just don't happen in animated movies anymore that started happening in the 2nd half of frozen that weirded me out. That + the strange low resolution textures and such that appear every now and then just makes you wonder what the deal was when they were making it.

The movie still works and is entertaining but it's not the instant classic some people like to suggest, it's just got some nice fun songs and character moments. The animation kind of bothers me though, the character animation is mostly pretty good but the movie is damn ugly. >>81121324well it's been 2 years so I can't remember many exact ones, one I can remember is suddenly at some point it cuts back to the snowman dude sliding down the mountain toward the village and it feels like some scenes were missing, it was just a hard cut which basically doesn't happen in 3d animated movies since everything can flow neatly thanks to the power of technology. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to shit on frozen. It's a good movie still.
>>81121296He could have been exonerated due to his services to the city.
>>81121384>The good news is that the rampant success of the first movie means that Disney can put actual effort into the sequel.Or it'll convince them that any old shit with the Frozen brand will sell, so the movie ends up being worse than its predecessor.
>>81121384Yes. My guess is that Disney thought that Frozen would suck.
>>81121025>still trying to find this part
>>81121420I bet they cut some scenes to keep the runtime short. That's also one good thing about Zootopia - it's significantly longer than most animated movies "for kids". I hope that trend continues so we can have two-hour animated movies that don't have to budget time for character development.
>>81121431Disney tend to pull that crap with direct to video sequels or merchandise, not theatrical releases. Given how big Frozen got I don't see them half-assing it.

I feel like part of it is hampered by Disney's appealing to kids and their attention spans but another part is surely just the cost associated with animating and rendering longer movies. Would they really be happy together? Fan art makes it all cute and shit, but I mean realistically, would they want it? Would it make them happy? There was no hint of affection on the film so it's hard to say
Imagine Zootopia if it were made by Blue Sky Studios.
>>81121551I'd agree if frozen had a unique art direction, it really didn't though, I think the art direction was as bland as it's execution. What it proves is that a decent story, great dialogue and good songs overcomes most other things in terms of audience response to an animated feature and that's always going to be true. You know the lion king is beautiful, but when memers are talking about how the 90s was the best time ever because of the lion king they're singing "hakuna matata", not going on about it's beautiful animation.

He could mention something about being inspired by Judy's optimism and energy to try changing himself for the better at the beginning of the movie and looking noticeably slimmer by the end. I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
>>81121302I want Disney to buy the world and turn the whole world into Disneyland. They can even do different sections in different parts. Like Frozen-themed park in Scandinavia where it's supposed to be, and The Lion King in Africa, Moana in the pacific etc.
>>81121957That's your opinion. I somewhat agree but I'm talking from a more general position than what I think according to my own personal subjective tastes as a jaded dickhead. To me, let it go was boring but to most it won't be. Also "can we build a snowman" sounded a lot like michael jackson's "childhood" from free willy 2 to me, but I don't think most people would get annoyed at it for that either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puQEcN_iI9o I dunno, it doesn't really matter what I think about whether or not elsa was a mary sue or not, in general that wasn't the response. >>81125878Its like I can hear him breathing heavily.
>>81126575>10 seconds later
>>81126575Its not the shock collars I have the issue with. Its just that particular image is kinda fucked up
>>81126572I can't imagine Clawhauser mad. Upset that people are making fun of him, yeah, but not angry.Maybe he's just confused.
>>81126586holy shit, that comment
>>81126586What an asshole. The commenter, not the guy who killed himself.
>>81126646I remember similar comment at WoW forum where one of the users died.>Did he left any loot?some people should be banned from the internet.
>>81126586>all those youtubers like Angry Joe who pretended they were friends with him to get clickbait after he killed himselfWhat a bizarre and fucked up situation.
>>81126643Maybe frustrated or annoyed would be better than mad.
>>81121151How can you say that when you're on /co/ and Grim Fandango exists?Though I understand if they're too hard for you, puzzles aren't for everyone.
post your nick drawings
>>81126689>>81126692>I cant laugh at a joke because I find it offensivewhere do you think you are
>>81126701Uh...Angry Joe worked on a website with him and hung out with him in real life. There's video of them at e3 together and shit.
>>81126721I have no idea what is happening in this comic at all
>>81126773/co/mblrRemember, all the other boards are bad, this one is the only board full of genuinely nice guys.
>>81126773Posting on 4chan doesn't automatically make me a huge edgelord.
>>81126808Just because you're a good guy doesn't mean you can't enjoy bad things.
>>81126515
>>81126785They barely hung out in real life, and they barely even worked together. They had minimal involvement in their videos.
>>81126808Everyone goes on about /co/ being tumblr with all the niceness and whatnot, but in reality I find boards like /cgl/ and even /mu/ to be more tumblr in nature.
>>81126825being unable to find comedy in cruel situations makes you a little bitch
>>81126788I guess Nick scratched so hard at the collar that it came off but hurt himself in the process?I dunno
>>81126727>>81126643im certain i had one saved where he demanded a goddamn liter of cola
>>81126766
>>81126868
Am I an edgelord for liking the shock collar concepts?>>81126721This is cool>>81126788Appears Nick has an injury and his collar is coming off.
>>81126868>You can't tell me you don't want this in your womb!>your seed isn't going anywhere near me.The fuck man
>>81126904I still have it.
>>81126947thank you. have a sassy nazi pose clawhauser
>>81126943People weren't complaining that that image involved shock collars. pretty sure most people in these threads like the shock collar concept on some level
>>81126880Whatever you say my socially retarded friend.
>>81126766the only time i've drawn nick
>>81126928I'm pretty sure that's not your name.
>>81127047this artstyle creeps me out.
>>81126943It's not edgy at all. It just means you like it when the hero has a hard life but comes out on top.
>>81126868And now it's just a generic sitcom
>>81126721I thought this was Bloodvorne for a moment.>>81126876How do they act more tumblr-y?
>>81126766First one was based off that official YouTube tutorial that Walt Disney Animation posted. The rest are me progressively bastardizing it.
>>81126943The shock collar concept had a lot of potential, but I'm sure the higher ups at Disney would have found it far too dark for one of their anitmated movies. And they probably wouldn't aim it at a teen audience or anything, since both times they tried that were financial failures.
>>81127052I like itthat neck though
>>81126997>we heil, HEIL right in der fur'ers face
>>81127084Nick...Could have had a hard life
>>81127132yeah i went a bit wide with the fluff. was a bit miffed that he came out better than finnick lol
>>81127052>"You wanna make toot-toot?">"The fact that you call it that proves you're not ready."
>>81127089Eh, just come off as less hostile places on this site. Which isn't exactly all that tumblr...but my most boards definition it is.
>>81127035He's right tho, you're a pussy
>>81127181Ha, thats pretty good
i want to pet nicks ears
>>81127174i just wish i could draw rooms and such that well too, it looks so nice. i should work on that. i suppose it would help me with my problem of being unable to accurately render shapes that make up bodies in 3D since it would give me such a better grasp on perspective in itself.
>>81127283at least you dont want to put his feet in your mouth.
>>81127312i want that too
>>81127181what? stop.
>>81127184That's just /pol/ gettin' ta ya. Just be a chill fella and your experience will be a nice one.To be quite honest, it's actually fun to see them.post on /TG/. Yeah, threads tend to hit limit, but it's mostly people telling OP to stop being a dumbo
>>81127335MAN, what's wrong with you?!
Do they actually make a good couple?
>>81126122What the hell is this amusement park thing all about? I've heard it a bunch but never got the source.

>>81127264Have the Original?
>>81127420FINALLY MY TIME TO SHINE
>>81127392Maybe I just spent too long on /v/...who to be fair has become /pol/-lite.
>>81121054Bernielover tends to not put out much art until something catches his attention, then he puts out 4-5+ pages a day. He says he is so fast because he doesn't sketch, he just draws. The last time he cranked out art like this was after GOTG when he must have drawn a hundred Rocket pages. Mostly gay, sadly. Fortunately he likes the Nick/Judy pairing though he's doing gay Clawhauser/Bogo stuff too.
>>81127433https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUKmq7UMJys>>81127451Just a theory on the plot though.
>>81127413Yes
>>81127433>>81127492The original unedited art, which has the dove thing instead of "This thread".
>>81127532>ywn see a sequel where Will Arnett plays Nick's inept brother.
>>81121296>Feral Nick defending JudyI really wish they had the original stuff out
>>81127413I asked in the last thread why people think they go nice together, but got no replies. I love the idea if them being together just because it's cute as fuck , but why do people think it works exactly? What makes them a good fit for each other? We didn't see ANY sign of affection in the film between them
>>81127454Just gotta develop your other hobbies. Movie watching, drawan, exercising, and all that will clear you right up
>>81127451>Finnick>it's Clawhauserwat
>>81125221>>81125184http://pastebin.com/w4Rhwch0You guys would like this.
I just hung a regular Zootopia movie poster on my wall. Quality is alright, but I'd love to have some bigger ones and in higher quality. Are there any yet?
>>81127699>>Finnick>>it's Clawhauserfinnick is right beside himalso it states honey and finnickso his name is honey clawhouser
>>81126222ive already done all this retarded cookie and signing up for shit and it doesnt work, its not worth it for a fucking sekrit club anon,
>>81127853Honey is the name of a conspiracy theorist badger that got cut from the film
>>81127884Yeah. I think they recycled her character design as the doctor working with the Mayor to try and discover the cause of the predators going savage
>>81127933>From conspiracy theorist to doctor experimenting on predators in the mayor's coverup.
>>81127413They compliment each other very well, in terms of personality. Nick's a vegetarian, so there's dietary compatibility. Both are in the same rough size category, while still having enough difference to play with. Being a predator and prey couple would likely have a certain excitement to it while also giving them odd little insights into each other. They both have very similar life goals and don't have to risk having children until they really feel up to it.I'd say their situation is almost absurdly ideal.
>>81126153Why does crying Nick hit me so hard ;_;
>>81127616The original setting was horrifying. They dropped it for good reason.
>>81127989And by "experimenting" you mean "treating", right? This isn't a horror movie.
>>81127636>We didn't see ANY sign of affection in the film between themI guess this is trollbait or you fell asleep before the end
best character claims last image space
>>81128080Right, sorry.
>>81127636They literally changed each other's lives, and learned quite a lot from each other, becoming way more balanced individuals than they were before. Also, it's clear they love each other to bits, even if it was more "platonic love" than outright romantic love.
>>81128096that smug bastard
>>81128096HE'S JUST A SLY FOXwhat's so special about him?!
>>81127853>finnick is right beside himNot the same anon, but I did not notice him there before. Really tiny.It looks like they tried to make tinfoil hats and then Clawhauser made the most of a bad situation and turned them into party hats.
