When he claims to "ice" people, does that imply he KILLS them or just dip them in cold water?
It's directly related to the old "stick their feet in cement, then drop them in the river" mafia deal.

>>80859508Does anyone have a gif of Mr Big kissing Judy in respect for saving his daughter? That was cute as shit

>>80860116>corrupt policeWhy are you surprised?

Judy might be a virgin but Nick almost certainly isn't.
>>80862258>farm girl>a virginhahahahaha
>>80862258Judy's definitely had boyfriends, but has never had a "serious" relationship since she was too focused on become a police officer. So there was never any real love in her life. Nick doesn't let people in or come close to him, so his relationships are often very shallow and only last a few weeks. Eventually he abandoned relationships and just did one night stands.
>>80862328Zootopian farmers don't have livestocks to f***
>>80862258what if both are virgins
>>80862241so second wave feminism instead of third wave.
>>80862328>>80862336>>80862348The way I see it, she's been too work-focused much of her life. Wouldn't be in a relationship until she actively sought one out, and probably wouldn't care for sex outside of a relationship.Nick, on the other hand, has slept around a bit (guy like him can land a girl pretty easily) but has never had a real relationship because he's averse to getting close with people. Just one night stands for him.
>>80862419I'm fairly certain she has had relationships, and that they were intimate, but she never took them seriously and they would fizzle out due to her nonchalant treatment of the relationship.
Find a flaw
>>80862419So for fifteen years straight she went to police academy and never had anything like a school boyfriend, or any kind of social life of any sort, she just did police work for fifteen years and never did anything else but?

>>80862468her wool makes her look like she has a beard
>>80862420Shit happens every single time. Finding Nemo devastated clown fish populations, Harry Potter created a massive population of homeless owls, I'm pretty sure parrots became popular after "Rio". It's really fucking sad.
>>80862452Judy, at the very least, must have had a highschool boyfriend.
>>80862468She's a supremecist
>>80862485>Not wanting to snuggle up to that soft ladybeard.
>>80862518Nothing but a label.
>>80862468>stunted height>completely milquetoast and meek, even when plotting revenge
>>80862537It just makes her extra cute.
>>80862469This is something I would have loved in the Q&A. "What did Judy do BEFORE the polica academy"?She was in school, yeah, but for how long? (Community) College? Luke Skywalker situation? Other jobs? Also considering the rabbits birth multiple babies at once and seeing how Judy has 275 siblings, doesn't that mean she also has "twins"?
>>80862548litter mates, not twins.
>>80862469She knew the whole world was against her and she was never was going to make it reality unless she devoted her entire life to it.
>>80860116This just makes me like Judy more.

>>80862547Nah, it makes her pathetic.Would not even shear for wool.
>That one little sister of Judy's that, when she gets on the train clearly says "I love you Judy!"My heart. She runs after the train too. So cute.
>>80862474Nick is great but canid cocks are awful. They look like they're missing a few layers of skin and the knots both look like a weird second set of balls and are designed to get stuck inside of vaginas.
>>80859508>dump them into cold, corpse-preserving water right underneath my houseStupidest way to dispose of bodies ever. He's one dive away from getting the chair.
>>80862609It seems like bunny family units stay small despite their actual numbers. Like the kids get divided among the adults in the family. Judy is probably really close with a few of her siblings but she might have trouble remembering the names of others.
>>80862258>implying she didn't lose it to Gideon
>>80859508>>80861989But holy shit the characters were detailed. I would believe it if someone told me these were photos of figurines. This must be the pique. And they completely avoided the uncanny valley that comes with high detail by making the designs cartoony.
>>80862668>uncanny valleyStop saying this if you don't know what it is.

>>80862619>only one in the family to have her mother's eyes and to look nothing like dadWouldn't surprise me if she was a bastard. We're dealing with bunny libidos after all.>the only one not married with kidsI wonder if she's under pressure to marry and breed from her parents. They wouldn't take her foxuality well if Zootopia really is realistic to a point of no crossbreeding.
>>80862682I do. If they'd make the animals hyper-realistic, our brain would still notice that something's off, making us feel uncomfortable seeing them. It isn't limited to human characters.
>>80862590>there are four other Judys>the only difference are the teeth and the color of their clothes>they hit on Nick>there are also five male Judys>Nick still confuses them
>>80862589Clawhauser seems pure, but his playlist is kind of slutty. I'd like to think that Bogo is the workaholic virgin who Clawhauser brings out of his shell.
>>80862744I feel like the directors would make Nick and Judy have kids solely because the potential hybrid names - "funnies" and "boxes" - are so hilarious.

>>80862744>the only one not married with kidsThose little ones are probably her siblings too. 275, remember? And still counting.

>>80862838Nah, we just want more Judy bunniefus.
>>80862768To be fair though it's a lot easier to avoid uncanny valley with animal characters than humans. Even Chronicles of Narnia managed to for the most part, and the new Jungle Book movie looks really well done in that regard.

>>80862901Pink is a standard color for bakeries. What are you getting at?
>>80862791I like those too. Not sure which hybrid combo/order would be which though.
>>80862887To paraphrase Mr. Plinkett, you might not notice anything, but your brain will. You wouldn't even be able to tell what's wrong, but you're brain will send you "something is off" signals.I just hope you don't fuck up again and make Baghira, the smoothest female cat in fiction, a goofy guy like you did in the animated original. That was a German male Renamon-tier blunder.
>>80862951How is that lewd? You cant even see her bunnygina or rabbit hole
i want to give nick a kiss
>>80862791I think that there's going to be a joke in there like "would the kids be called funnies, or boxes?", but the fact of the matter would be that they can't actually have kids through biological means. With all the scientific accuracy they strove for in this movie, it'd be kind of surprising if they threw it all out for the sake of Nick and Judy being able to conceive children.I'm sure there's plenty of fox orphans out there though, and personally I find the idea of Judy trying to be a good mom to a little fox pup adorable.
would you kiss nicki and jude?
>>80863027They threw out a lot of stuff out the window as well. Judy is in her 20's and Nick is just over 30. They'd both be dead if they were actual animals. So it wouldn't be a huge stretch to assume their universe works on Bojack/Gumball rules and the kids are either their mom's or dad's species.
>>80862643I like this. I'd logically explain why we only see a fraction of Judy's siblings. Though I'd say the youngest children stay with the parents until they are old enough - maybe after school graduation - to then move on joining a different community, or new community.Of course Judy is a exception because she has goals different from her other siblings. That makes her stay longer with Stu and Bonnie, which in return actually made them bond closer with each other than with the rest of the family.
>>80863123I would fuck Nicki and force Jude to watch

>>80862952It's more normal for cupcake places in the city. I'm not even saying that his choice of colors and his cute little happy pie logo make him automatically gay, I'm saying he's a little less automatically straight than others.
>>80862939Agreed, but the non mammals would need to be replaced or removed to mesh with the setting properly.
Did Zootopia turn you into a furry?
>>80863196>tiger dildo sales are up 1000%!Of this I have no doubt, but I wonder if anyone's buying that creepy, bunny-shaped fleshlight though.
>Mr Big has gone straight in the sequel due to Judy's and his daughter influence
>>80862548I like to imagine Judy probably has a bachelor's degree in something law related. That kind of shit would look great when trying to become an officer.>Majored in Criminal Justice>Minored in Mathematics>>80862590>>80862772>The male Judy's hit on Nick too just to fuck with him and Judy Prime>>80862854I dunno, Honey seems like the kind of confident Nick wouldn't want to burn with a one-night stand or anything like that. Plus, don't stick your dick in the crazy.
>>80863220I can't tell if her making her boyfriend wear a tiger suit while fucking her is more or less perverted than just buying a barbed cat dick dildo.
>You cannot touch me, Kaichou-san. School's out and no one is around that would care about a tiny, little smoke like this.
>>80863221what, because he's a chef and uses good branding?
>>80863124Any movie with a sci-fi hook gets one or two "cheats." Zootopia's cheats were that 1) all mammals evolved to fill the place of humans, which means human intelligence, opposable thumbs (with some exceptions), and human lifespans. The second cheat is that they have seemingly unlimited energy through which to power their city's infrastructure, which includes air conditioning and heating for the different biomes. It would be an entirely separate cheat to ignore basic reproductive biology though, and that might end up being a bridge too far. If Zootopia was a cartoonier setting then maybe they could get away with it, but they actually did keep things pretty grounded aside from the fantastical premise. The characters are never saved by cartoon physics, and the world's logic stays consistent with itself without bending and twisting for the sake of gags. Cross-species impregnation seems like it would be out of place. Even if we were to believe that convergent evolution had gone so far as to make such a thing possible, it doesn't count for why there aren't hybrids running around everywhere and why there isn't a class of mammals that are becoming just "generic mammals" due to all the cross breeding that's occurring. That's a can of worms that most cartoon makers try to avoid.Nick and Judy having a mixed litter of foxes and bunnies simply would be straight up cartoon logic, and I don't think it would fit in with the setting. It also seems like it'd be a very real concern of Judy's that she can't give birth to kids of her own if she gets together with Nick, and being able to give the characters real hopes and worries is part of why Zootopia is as good as it is. And besides that, it's good to have a nice message about adoption, since lots of kids out there need homes.
>>80862939I read a fic where they have their first homicide, though in that case it was a hate crime. Pretty well written too.

>>80863305Didn't you read the books? That's what Mikey did as well. The moustache Pete, strong-arm mafioso is a relic. The biggest modern gangsters are legal unscrupulous corporations.
>>80863392>Mister Big is a mafia boss just because he's Italian and has a security force for his completely legitimate businessracists
>>80863370He does kind of have a point: the creators have said they try to stick as close to real biology as possible, so funnies and boxes probably wouldn't be a serious thing. What we might get are adoptive kids though who might identify more with the parent NOT their species.Or as one person suggested they adopt a grey fox who happens to have longish ears and leave everyone wondering how the fuck they did it.
>>80863145Yeah I have a feeling that Judy kind of ended up being Stu and Bonnie's "favorite" in some ways just because she was the most different out of all their kids. Not necessarily to imply that they cared less about their other kids, but they were perhaps more concerned about Judy because she was clearly exceptional, and also had a dream that comes with considerable danger. She probably ended up staying with them longer than her siblings. It's really hard to wrap one's head around the idea how they could have almost 300 kids and still find time to worry about Judy, which suggests that Judy is the only one who ever gave them something to worry about.
>>80863417I don't really care, the guy decided that a rule he made up is followed by everything, so nothing he has to say as any merit.
>>80863229Should have one from Judy's perspective too.Vice versa, showing how Nick made an impact on her life. and of course her love for him
>>80863392Actually, the mafia has been thriving because the sentiment that they aren't has taken the heat off of them. That and a shift of focus towards terrorists.
>>80863337>reading comprehension, what's that?I said either or, not hybrids. Bojack is serious as fuck, has animal people and they can all interbreed with other animal people or human producing an offspring that's either their mother's or father's species.

>>80863482I found it erotic. Definitely see some animals roleplaying at going feral during sex.
>>808633371. Evolution likes to repeat things that work on other species. It's not THAT far-fetched that they evolved, especially if they started to interact as a community very early on. In our world there could be way different kinds of humans if they didn't extinct.2. Considering this and a alternate history of events, the animals might have been able to advance sciemce further in some branches and not fuck up the planet too early like humanity did.

>>80863577the real question is if it counts as a sort of rape roleplay, or if it counts at food play.
>>80863440okay, you have a point there with your frustration.>>80863432>It's really hard to wrap one's head around the idea how they could have almost 300 kids and still find time to worry about JudyI think that's just a side effect of us being human and having human societies and such. But, maybe you are right.I'm just trying to imagine Stu and Bonnie naming all their kids. The oldest ones all having normal names, but as you get to the youngest, they had to delve into like foreign or dead language names.>"Virgil, Judy, Michael, Stu Jr., Bonnie Jr., Leonardo, Leonidas, Erishkegal, Vibhishana, Larry, Dante, Altair, Billy, Bob, Richard, Warren, Mei Ling, help your father!"
>>80863535Yeah that's kind of the point-- the idea of all mammals converging towards human intelligence is unlikely, but doesn't sound impossible. The idea that they have more plentiful and cleaner energy sources due to scientific advancement doesn't ring as implausible either-- we might only be a few decades from that in our own world. The thing about hybrids and mixed litters though, is that we know from our own world that no matter how many times a dog fucks a cat, you're never going to get a cog or a dat. That wouldn't magically change just by making them smarter.

>>80862854The story is fine without her, but damn, I like her design.
>>80863557Mah nigga I've been thinking the same thing. If they're going to adopt it should be a fox, and it would add visual interest if it was a different species from Nick. A gray fox would be amusing because it looks like a mix of Nick and Judy's coloring, and that could set up for some comedy for characters who see them together and don't immediately understand that their kid is adopted.>Wait, how did you two...?

Burn wood to operate steam engines? You piss off forest dwellers. Dig for coal? You piss off burrowers. Etc.And Zootopia's history was probably also pretty rough for a lot longer than it was on Earth before they settled into things, Judy mentions Predators eating prey and civilizing as recently as "thousands of years ago" (which might just be her misremembering or childhood lack of sense of time scale though) whereas by as far back as ten thousand years ago, humanity began cracking agriculture and began forming progressively larger and more complex civilizations.

>>80863680Environmentalists are statists. Human progress is seen as immoral and they want it to stop. A few years ago they were telling us to switch over to wind power, and then it started killing the birds so that's bad too. Fact of the matter is that nuclear power is the most abundant and sustainable form of electricity available and none of the "green alternatives" would be able to even replace our current electrical infrastructure, much less expand our capacity. It's plausible that with a good enough nuclear power infrastructure Zootopia could actually function. For us humans the idea of a completely climate-controlled city seems absurd, but that's because we don't need it. Zootopia really is like a city combined with the artificially re-created environments of a large zoo.

>>80863845kek>>80863930In general Star Fox Zero has pretty shit looking art direction. The two best games in the series in that regard were Adventures and Assault, even though some fans refuse to acknowledge anything good about them. Star Fox Adventures in particular went for a much more Disney-influenced look for its characters than the games with Japanese art teams.

>>80864039I like to think that this takes place right after Nick and Judy bust up the secret hospital, and before the press conference the next day. She lets Nick crash with her at her apartment and they end up sleeping in the same bed. Nothing sexual, just sleeping and cuddling.
>>80864138Realize? Hell, that's their plan. Have you seen the list of investors in Disney?
>>80864123i dunnno. maybe practice?
>>80864123Learning and observing basic human anatomy would help, using light strokes on lines will also help too. Getting referrences, studying said referrences and drawing using said refferences instead of using pure memory helps a lot too since you are copying the looks of the characters that you are drawing. Also have fun drawing, mistakes are part of drawing and learning from said drawing mistakes will make you a better artist/drawfag/etc.

>>80864215The thing about furfshit is that it's disarming to the point that you can get away with stuff that you can't when doing human characters. I'm not just talking about the social messages in something like Zootopia-- I'm talking about the fact that you never hear Anita Sarkeesian whining about how "problematic" Carmelita Fox is for being a sexualized Latina stereotype who regularly gets outsmarted by the man that she lusts after, because she's a cartoon fox first and foremost so the other stuff goes right over their heads.
>>80862823>getting a happy ending>not "the special" meaning him getting eaten by the lioness, while the polar bear escapes and Judy running to help Nick out
>>80864298That makes sense.Though I am admittedly into this degeneracy, I don't want kids to be brainwashed into it but I know that is what will happen as a result of this film.Sure, anthro animals have been used in media before but this is the first time I thought "yeah, they know exactly what they're doing." Though I did love Zootopia, and find Nick and Judy to be two of the most emotive, well-fleshed-out, real cartoon characters I've ever seen.Plus I honestly can't tell who is cuter, and it makes me insecure..

>>80864123I've been drawing for years and I am still constantly jealous of people who can draw simple, clean looking lines. My sketches look fine, but when I try to do something really simple and clean looking with flat colors I'm never happy with the results and end up slapping lots of shading on it to distract people from my line work. It's often times hard to judge your own work "fairly" when you're the one who draws it-- some people can't see their own mistakes when they draw, but others can't see anything but their mistakes. When I see other people's sketches and line art I admire how confident their stuff looks, but I don't know if they actually are more confident than me or if they go through the same anxiety about their lines not looking clean and smooth enough like I do.

>>80863311>>80862548Yeah I figure if she's 24 in Zootopia, she must have gone to college before going to the police academy. Otherwise there's a 5 year gap where you just end up wondering what she was doing.

>>80863236"I may technically be owned partially by the Disney hyper-mega-global corporation, but even I think this is ridiculous.
>>80860116Real life police do work with moderate criminal elements to bring down entire criminal enterprises and worse threats. Police worked with the head of Seattle liquor sales during prohibition to bring down the empire he created, in exchange for no charges and keeping all his cash. Prohibition ended before the big bust and he ran for office which he won, so he walked away scott-free as a rich man with no enemies. Police also use informants who can be very high level, and the US used the Italian mob to find and eliminate Nazi spies before and during World War 2. In fact, Hitler used mob connections to collect scrap in the US to support the German industry before the war, then refused to pay them which is why they volunteered to police the country for spies, and although officially not recognized the mob was involved in the US war effort by using black market connections to secure supply lines. So its not as cut and dry as "criminal commits crime, goes to jail".

>>80863027Why do I want them together so badly? The one time, ONE fucking time a movie makes me actually give a damn about two characters falling in love, and we might never see it happen. Friends don't need to be married, but with their back stories and actually getting to know each other over two days instead of just automatically attacking each others pants? It'd be like say oh you found that diamond in the rough but don't get married because some people don't want to confront themselves with missing that opportunity in reality. Nick and Judy both know what they want in life. Nick, for a long time, pushed it away because of his childhood, but is able to follow his heart now. Judy has followed her heart her entire life, and it's why she went to Nick for forgiveness. Which by the way she started crying at the idea of Nick never wanting to see her again. Then to add on to all of that them getting together would hit the ideals of the movie home like nothing else could. A pred and prey getting over their biases and fears and falling in love. It just seems so perfect. I mean I'm glad they didn't do it in this film, there was enough going on all ready. If they don't do it in the next the one it'll just feel like they don't want to slightly annoy the vast minority of people which honestly would be dumb as shit.

>>80865559There is nothing wrong with making money with the craft you love, but that's the problem with Slugbox. they clearly don't give a shit and are only in for the money. It gives even without conversation a bad message to other artists. They could become great, but want to follow into the footsteps of Slugbox, Kayla-Na, Shadman, Nitrotitan, Onta/Doxy, SSSonic2 and so on. That means more bad art and personalities.
>>80865606>But that's a critical point, if someone wrongs you without intent,(1)Intent does not matter. No, really, "I did not intend that" is the most common and most lame excuse ever.(2)Just a few hours before Judy was told something very important about Nick. And at the moment she did not value their relationship enough to commit that to memory. >the best course of action isn't to through a fit and get up in their face, and then walk away with the situation unresolved.Except it is. If they come to apologize - which is what happened - great, you can reestablish the relationship on your terms. If they don't - well, they obviously don't care enough about you to take your feelings into account, so the relationship wouldn't have worked anyway. As with the whole movie, the underlyng moral of Nick/Judy's romance is fairly cynical. You don't get the girl by romantically confessing your past traumas in a beautiful scene. You get the girl by showing her that your companionship is not a given and you will drop her the instant she crosses the line.
They should've been partners.
Theater Seating in Zootopia has got to be fucking difficult.

>>80866220Kalashnikov was a pretty poor weapon designer, but a damn good plagiarizer. How many guns are on that ship? How many of them are AA guns? How many are naval guns? How long is it? What type of ship is it?All very hard to see thanks to the dazzle camouflage. If you don't actually know what the enemy is you're much more hesitant to engage him, because what looks like a destroyed could actually be a battlecruiser. It fell out of fashion after radar and better optics made it much less effective.
>>80866472>Nick kept the Junior ZPD Officer sticker on him the entire time before the end of the press conference
>>80866625It's had mixed results, and the purpose of it wasn't to throw off the enemy's aim, but to make it harder for the enemy to determine the ship's exact direction. There are very few ships that still use it.

>>80865972I was saying they do seem to have romantic interest in each other, or at the very least that with how it played out that it seems like it's something they should explore. Obviously not show them fucking in the next movie. But the theme of the first movie, how they grew as friends and how close they became, romance would just fit so well. It grew like an actual romance instead of just instant fucking or anything. I mean to say, in their world, that preds and prey can't be together seems like it'd go against the first movies theme. That both pred and prey can live together, be happy together. The times of one side eating the other is long since past. They're all just people, or rather animals, trying to live as nice a life as any normal person in our world.
