How can one movie be so GOAT /co/? I'm literally crying from how perfect my experience was watching it.
>>80791727There was no goat.
Why is /co/ dickriding Zootopia so hard? It's great, yeah, but nowhere near perfect.Entertaining and cute, but honestly pretty par for the course for a Disney film.Is it because you're all furfags?
>>80791918Because we can stick it to Frozenfags now.
>>80791918Dude I just want to have a thread based on my top-tier experience and movie quality viewing.Go away, this movie was really fucking god-tier, and if you have to be a dick about all the praise it's getting, maybe, just a little bit maybe, you're too retarded to understand it's power
>>80791918Because "Disney Takes On Racism" is really strange concept since "Disney Does Princess Movie That Isn't About Romance"
>>80791727>GOAThue>>80791918because we're all faggots i guess
>>80791809Bellwether was a goat.
>>80791727Leave it to a zootopia OP to have low quality post>I'm ltierally cryingget out of here kiddo
>>80792037She was a lamb, Doug, Jesse and Walter were goats.
>mfw Zootopia becomes the new /frz/Why must people ruin the things I enjoy.
>>80792060They were all sheep, not goats, though both male sheep and goats are called rams.
>>80791918I'm a furfag and I don't get it either.
>>80792230I was not aware of this.
I don't care about the movie, or the fans, or anything, I might end up seeing it some day, but why the fuck do you guys have to make it the high and mighty thread worthy shit where it takes over /co/ now? Pic hardly related, there's a couple other threads too, these just happened to be side by side.>that one day where 10 threads were made of Zootopia but no one really cared because about 7 were taken down after a couple minutesthat better have been a samefag
>>80792291Better than having a general that's shitty 100% of the time.
>>80792291>people can't enjoy new and fun thingsFuck off. The movie is new and we're enjoying ourselves while we can. Go back to watching your 100th iteration of capeshit or cartoon reboot.
>>80791918Im no furfag I just enjoyed the movie>>80792238Because your taste is shit
>>80792338>Better than having a general that's shitty 100% of the time.>All the threads are just NickXJudy fanart or concept art and nothing elseNot really no.
>>80791918If you have to ask about furries, the answer is automatically yes.
>>80791918Im not a furfag i just love the movie man!
>>80792373Idiot did you listen to what he just wrote?
>>80792338Never said that should be the in-favor>>80792373>literally the response of a faggot who hates that someone said something negative about them, their praise-worthy media, or the fanbase>missing the point>assuming I'm shit and watch shit things because I said I didn't care about the movie and insulted the fanslet me spell it out for youIt is literally retarded to spam multiple threads at a time about it, rarely even about discussion aside from waifu-ing and "SEXI ART TIEM"It IS ok to have fun and talk about a movie you liked, but still not spamming the absolute fuck out of itNo one liked when /sug/ did it, or others, and no one is going to like it now aside from people in the situations making them
>>80792494Not that anon, but probably not. Most people can't hear words.
>>80792477>generic "oh ok" image but with shakinghuh, and I thought you guys weren't that fucking low>>80792526fucked that up, furfagpeople can hear words, (unless they're deaf) not text on a website without audio add-ons
>>80792291Dude this is how we got generals in the first place. Its two threads. Relax.
>>80792523Cool opinion and projection. Filter 'zootopia' if it triggers you to see more than one thread, senpai. And leave the modding to the mods.
>>80792570This isnt a fucking general or community, he just said his opinion and probably responded with one gif he had from the movie. Not everyone watches anime all day jerking off and complains about the most stupid made up shit. Some people have lives. An hero.
>>80792668I said there were others, and that I just capped the ones that ended up right next to each other.READING COMPREHENSION god damn>>80792691not all of them actually HAVE that in the post, besides, if it was that fact alone I could ignore it, it's the fucking quantity and how often>>80792695>>80792373>assuming and "insulting" and being wrong at the same timeit's ironic because I don't watch any of those things, it's amazing how easy to tell someone is butthurt because they automatically revert to "go back to your shitty [insert something] while we stick to our cool stuff, FAGGOT DICKFACE"

>>80792935there's so much ironic with this post that you HAVE to be retarded to have typed it
>>80792814>>80793002>ironicInigo Montoya would like a word with you.
>>80792291The threads fill up VERY fast.
A treat just for you.
>>80792423And what is different about this from other /co/ threads?
>>80791727>conspiracy to make people afraid of predators because they ate the prey's ancestors>first victim is a otter>Otters only eat fish, shellfish and insects>All citizens of zootopia are mammalsWho the hell was afraid of otters?
>>80791918perhaps most people aren't furfags despite having a desire to see anthropomorphic animals. These feelings confuse them after seeing so much furry stuff on the internet and being primed to hate it that it becomes a learned response to seeing any anthropomorphic depiction. They fear being labeled and being painted with that same brush. Thus they deny a natural interest in talking animals that is inherent to most animation lovers in order to avoid any association with furries. Its hard to say you like the Lion King without having to qualify that you aren't a furry. Zootopia allows those feelings to be released and directed toward an acceptable outlet that we've all agreed upon. There is so little porn because people aren't really attracted to the animals. They just having a longing desire to enjoy an anthropomorphic film without the fear of being stigmatized. Its the first furry film not for furries in a long time
>>80792013>Princess movie that isn't romanceNot to be a shitter, but wasn't this Frozen's meme?
>>80791918this is basically the same thing that was posted in every Frozen thread back when it came out
>>80793480So Disneyfags are just autistic retards?
>>80793427Is Judy a Princess?
>>80791727But is there a non-shitty rip hiding on the interwebs somewhere? That's what I want to know, because I fucking hate cam rips.
>>80793427Yes anon, that is what I was referring to and it's one of the largest factors over the films success.
>>80791918It really hit me in a manner regular movies rarely do. it probably wont be the same for everyone else, and thats ok, we can work together even with our differences!
>>80791727The music was great with sparse use of Shakira. I still wish she made a better song, but it somehow grew on me in the end.The story, while it has some hole, is still more compelling than anything that Disney put out the last two decades.I really can't think of an animated movie with better characters. Can you?It was visually stunning, though there was some laziness and corners cut that could have made it perfect. It's not GOAT but it I do see it as Disney's contemporary best.
>>80792106Anon, it's a good movie that's gotten really popular, and--here's the important part--had a very staggered release schedule. Unlike Frozen, the threads are actually getting new people every week or two. Hell, the UK still doesn't get the movie for another week or so.
Man, I like it because it was a buddy cop movie a la Disney.
>>80793239You got source on the original?
>>80791727No you're notStop lyingViper get this fool
So long before we're exiled to /trash/?
>>80795416Probably either after it comes out in the UK or after it leaves theaters in the US
>>80794521Here you go friendo
>>80795764thanks, does this artist have a tumblr or anything?
>>80793290Otters eat rats and mice dude.
>>80795967Really?Are you sure they eat them or do they just kill them out of territorial instinct like squirrels?
did nick kiss judy on the neck
Zootopia version of Die Hard
>>80791727I understand that you like the characters and the world they built, but you can't deny the abundance of cliches, forced tearjerker moments and bad pacing towards the end.I liked it, but I bet this movie will surely end up like Frozen. It's inevitable.
There is a distinct lack of Nick and Judy in this thread.
I just wanted to post this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqDcb7Q9kSI
>>80799812I can fix that.
>>80791918Honestly i'm pretty convinced at this point that it's attention seeking.Like those spazzy shits who are horribly socially awkward and nobody fucking notices because they don't want to engage with an embarrasing shit. This was an okay film. It didn't blow my mind but I was absolutely entertained the whole way through. Charming film no doubt. But thats not why these threads pop up every half an hour. These people know that people are gonna get tired at seeing the same threads sucking this movies cock or shmoozing over the bunny character like shes some super unique sex goddess or some stupid shit.I used to work with the autistic community. Like literal developmentally disabled people. And I am actually familiar with this kind of behavior. It's seeking negative reinforcement. they don't feel able to achieve positive reinforcement with what is deemed appropriate behavior but instead purposefully try to get any attention even with behavior they know is wrong. They don't actually think the movie is that perfect and amazing, they just want the attention because otherwise theyre just a drooling retard shitting themselves quietly in the corner while being ignored. This gets them noticed when otherwise they never are.
>>80791918This is honestly the best and prettiest looking animated film in years, the fan reaction is well deserved especially if you look at the film's production history where they scrapped the entire thing and rebuilt it in half the time.
>>80800108It's pretty alright, but I think Tintin and Rango are still better looking.
>>80791918Because it's moé.
So what would a Zootopia TV show be called?>Streets of Zootopia>Zootopia: Case Files of the ZPD>Zootopia: The Adventures of Nick & Judy>Zootopia: Urban Jungle Adventures>Zootopia Mysteries>Zootopia's Finest>Zootopia Police: Protect and SurviveAnd of course:>Zootopia: The Series
>>80791918I actually didn't think it was that great. Right from the start, the movie begins hammering in its message, and from that point on you can already tell where the rest of the film is headed. Movie was predictable as hell. Even the "twist".
>>80800161>Zootopia: Case Files of the ZPDThis feels just slightly redundant if you ask me.Zootopia's Finest is probably best for getting the point across that it's a cop show and the series it's based on.My own standard idea for a title though is "Hopps & Wilde"
>>80800020As someone who does not understand the compulsive need for attention and can't stand a million thread about wanting to fuck Judy or Bellwether, I actually don't think it's entirely just that. There's a good portion of people that genuinely love the film. I personally though it was outstanding and the best Disney had to offer in over a decade. A lot of people I know agree and generally that seems to be the popular opinion. I mean, that obviously doesn't excuse it, but it's not JUST mega-autism. And it's at least a more interesting film to dig into than fucking Frozen.
I'm mostly just around these threads to browse the freshest fanarts.
>>80800229I agree the films good. But i'm speaking of the increasing frequency threads pop up about it coinciding with people being irritated at the threads popping up.
>>80800322Korea REALLY likes this movie from the looks of it. Just imagine what's gonna happen when it comes out in Japan.
>>80791918Content depraved furries eat up literally any garbage that has yiffyaff animals in it.
>>80800020I've seen this shit happen several times, it always ends badly. It happened with MLP, Frozen, with Undertale, with FNAF, with Splatoon. These threads will devolve into generals, and at that point you are better off staying far, far away. It's basically a moderate or decent film/game etc, that's hyped up with a lot of buzz, followed by huge amounts of people leaping in all at once, overselling it, and spiraling the thing out of control because they want to feel as though they are part of something, or become obsessed with it unhealthily. The level, frequency, and kind of discussion is almost always an early warning sign.
>>80800378>i was fans of all of these at one pointSo I was the cancer all along
>>80800020I think it's fair to say that you have no soul.
>>80800108>This is honestly the best and prettiest looking animated film in yearsKubo already blows this out of the water in terms of visuals
The more I see Nick and Judy being shipped, the more pictures I make of them going through Married Life.
>>80800020Holy shit. Is that you, Barneyfag?
>>80791953You are just as bad as frozenfags
>>80792230>Based anon delivers some National Geographic knowledgeI miss watching that channel as a kid.
>>80799912Really glad Ghibli is making feature films again. I was worried there for a while.
>>80800161> No CSI Zootropolis
>>80792291Nigga. In a thread the other night someone posted this picture and literally every single response (and there were a shitton) were lusting after it. /co/ obsessively channeling their sexual feelings in creepy and unhealthy ways is just part of the package.
>>80800551I think it's fair to say you have autism
>>80791918Oh look, it's the furry boogeyman yet again
>>80800598Well at least the big centrepiece of Zootopia's popularity isn't a song about how you should fuck the rules, abandon all responsibilities and do whatever the hell you want without giving a second thought for the consequences just because life is shit damn it, you deserve to feel like a princess. At least I doubt that anyone's favourite part would be Try Everything.
>>80791918Remember when people didn't compare talking, walking, animals with furries?
>>80800288This, I rarely read anything in the thread. /frz/ ruined me on generals altogether. I only come for the cute fanart and screencaps.
>>80800573not a fan of stop motion animated films thanks.
>>80800666Oh look, it's the "everything is boogeyman" guy yet again.
>>80800739Don't you mean the "the truth" guy?

>>80793365>Its hard to say you like the Lion King without having to qualify that you aren't a furry.Seriously, what the fuck did I just read?
>>80800955>Not cryingIt's ok anon. We all know that, you cry when no one is looking.

>>80800921Doesn't bother me, and all the guys who ship themAge difference never really mean anything in the human history, their is just people who don't like it
>>80791727>I'm literally crying from how perfect my experience was watching it.Then you're probably a furry.I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but let's be realistic here; this movie was a 7/7.5 out of 10, at best. It's watchable, it's pretty and it's even good some parts, but when you start elevating it past anything but a buddy cop movie with talking animals, you are just as deluded and obsessed as those Undertale kids who voted that in as best game ever made. The movie could have been a lot better, could have had an actual plot, better writing, better villain and filled in a lot of holes that otherwise makes the entire setup stand on very thin ice. I don't care that the movie had animal characters or that it even pandered to furries, if it was legit "god-tier" as >>80792007 says it is, I wouldn't be above praising it as such. But he fanaticism I am seeing here and amongst the furries is on par with those people on tumblr now drawing Sans art exclusively. >>80791918>Entertaining and cute, but honestly pretty par for the course for a Disney film.I do at least think it's better than Frozen, Big Hero 6 and most recent things, but that isn't really saying much since I found all those movies pretty meh to shit.
Riddle me this /co/. Why on earth would she wear a mask?Would it hurt her little bunny whiskers if you took it off?
>>80791727I-is this the new thread?
>>80801136>could have had an actual plotHow did it not have an actual plot?
>>80800658God dammit I would bend that prissy upper class English boy over a table in a second.
>>80801334Koreans really really seem to like talking animals. I wonder if it's a cultural thing.
>>80800793ZOOTOPIA FIGHTING GAME WHEN
>>80801440Maybe. The Japanese too. Their mythology has a lot of talking animal spirits. Rabbit on the moon, 9 tailed fox spirit, Yatagarsu...
And then /co/ was the furries.
>>80801329>How did it not have an actual plot?Used the random actions of single character (the villain) with little motivation to make the gears turn for the whole world. If it wasn't for her contrived scheme, nothing would have happened in that movie. Judy would have went to Zootopia, became a crossing guard, and then the movie would have ended. And yes, what the villain did was technically a plot, it was just a shitty and lazy one, which is why the end felt really hollow and lackluster. The main characters overcame very little to get their happy ending, so it didn't really feel happy. The original script was much better written; THAT was a plot.Just makes me think of what TLK would be like if made today. Mufasa wouldn't have died, Simba wouldn't have ran away and he wouldn't have had to come to grips with who he is later in life. It would have just been Scar plotting and plotting and then getting stopped before he could do any damage; that's about as much of a plot as Zootopia ended up having.
Does someone have a link to the artbook pdf? I know the quality is awful but I want to see it before I decide on buying the physical version.
>>80801496Oh shit... this makes me think of Up.

alright furfags it's time to decidehttp://strawpoll.me/7096701
>>80801678Bonnie's is kinda Judy's except chubbier.
>>80801499That's not fair considering damage was obviously done by the villain, it was just political when it wasn't physical to the lost mammals or emotional for just about everyone in Zootopia (I'm glad we got so many perspectives in that short amount of time). Even before that, we know that the world's cutest otter family has been torn apart by the plot. There's actual conflict in Judy's struggle with Bogo that gets nicely resolved too. We see prejudice throughout the whole movie, so when the big reveal happens with the motivation being based on prejudice, most of us can see how that fits.Speaking of TLK why does Scar hate Mufasa that much? Why Simba? The short answer and the only real answer we get is ambition. He's not where he wants to be and that pisses him off. This parallels Zootopia's villain with an added extra bit of motivation and showing of abuse. The source of Simba's internal conflict comes directly from the villain, but Nick and Judy's was in them all along, which makes for a better story, I think.
>>80801284I wish Nick wore a suit at least once in the movie. I liked the old concept art of him as a spy so much
>>80801682These characters are really cute.I don't want to sexualize most of them.I voted Bell because I'm really curious to how she'd be in bed but the real answer is probably gazelle

>>80801738Don't get sued anon
>>80801706Not to mention Nick has a pretty good character arc. Where he sort of falls into this con man lifestyle because despite everything he does, even if he's being genuine, people always saw him as a con man. He also only gives up that lifestyle after a rather arduous process with Judy. It's by no means instant.

We told you last week that part three is bound to see a downturn due to the fact that the ending of Veronica Roth’s third novel left Divergent fans polarized. Now, industry analysts are seeing Allegiant opening with $30M-$32M at 3,700 locations with the possibility of Zootopia holding its No. 1 turf with an estimated $35M in its third outing.

>>80803053>Incest in a disney movie? UnlikelyOr, if you listen to the internets, old news.
>>80803067Its not standard at this theater. You are just expected to silence your phone and not take it out, tho there arent really penalties for people who do it anyway. >>80803815As an artist myself I can tell you that they're essentially is no shortcut to learning how to draw well and that it's pure practice, determination, and strength of will. Artistic ability is a skill like any other. I wouldn't ask you to build a car engine unless you intricately knew every single piece and how it related to all the other components. Its the same thing with drawing the human body or the face of a bunny; you're not going to be able to do it unless you have memorized the shapes from multiple perspectives, which is only achieved through diligent practice.I tell the same thing to any budding artist: if you draw at least one hour day, every day, you can become as decent as any comic book or cartoon artist out there in only two to three years. And in only a few subsequent years you can be as good as any concept artist.>"But anon, 2 years is a long time, I want to be able to do good now."And how old will you be in 2 years if you never started practicing art? Sorry but there's no shortcuts, if you try to just copy from 'how to draw anime' books you will cripple yourself and be doomed to mediocrity. You also have to enjoy the process of creating art. If drawing bores you and yet you still want to see your ideas come to life, you're better off getting a decent job and just commissioning what you want.

>>80804168It depends on the person at the desk. Sometimes retail workers make assumptions and don't listen to you if you try to correct them.I recently went to buy a new wallet and the guy at the desk kept asking me if masculine wallets were okay and when I said yes asked if I wanted a gift receipt. God forbid I be getting one for myself.
>>80804166But lewd is cute too
>>80804216Yes/Never used AO3, what's the population like?
>>80804242Lower population than FF but the ability to use tags is great.
>>80804030Wonder what the porcine members of Zootopia would feel knowing that their mayor has screamed insults including: "If you sabotage my band, I will fuck you like a pig."
>>80804263Does it generally have a higher standard?I'd like feedback better than "10/10 it was okay"
What would Gazelle sing if she worked at a laundrymat? Dry EverythingWhat would Gazelle sing if she worked at a restaurant? Fry EverythingWhat would Gazelle sing if she was a pilot? Fly EverythingWhat would Gazelle sing if she worked in sales? Buy EverythingWhat is Gazelles favorite album? My Everything
>>80804278Haha, that would be pretty great
>>80804278Pigs can have orgasms that last into the half-hour. Maybe in Zootopia it means you'll be a very thorough lover.
>>80804039>"You're a loose cannon, Wilde! I'm taking you off the case."
>>80804242Supposedly AO3 is more Tumblr-ed out. Haven't really noticed it much but I don't get as many views/engagement over there than on FFN.So yeah, way lower population. I guess older/more mature population?
>>80804068What if all my teachers said that my nude life drawings are gorgious and indeed not bad, and I already can draw Zootopia characters well enough, but I want to improve to go beyond that with some more besides repeated drawing of these things? Where does one go from there?
>>80804303I hate how much I learn about animals in threads like this
>>80804281A higher standard? I'd say so. Not that there don't exist some bad Ao3 fics or authors, because there exist plenty, but I'd say the average is higher on Ao3.Readership is also a little better and as an author you can respond directly to comments posted, so there's that. Unless something really hits someone you'll probably just get kudos instead of comments, though. FF is more prone to giving shallower comments and Ao3 is more prone to giving nothing but kudos.
>>80804336What are you trying to draw?
>>80804068Do I have any potential?
What kinda animal would he be ?
>>80804292Which one will Weird Al do?
>>80804354>>80804315I just want somewhere that will give me feedback despite only really being motivated to write while I have a boner. Might give it a try.
>>80803871>literally illuminati background right off the bat
>>80804399Just keep doing it every day, and you'll get better. But that's the hard part, doing it every day.
>>80804425I wouldn't ask for that from readers because a lot of the time they feel compelled to comment when they like something or to encourage you to write more, and that's hardly unbiased criticism.Look for the writing threads the pop up on here and post a few snippets or a synopsis of your stories. Directly talking to people is your best bet. You put stuff up on FF or Ao3 because you want attention/to share it, not because it'll net you solid advice.
>>80804406Everything You know is wrong?

>>80802174why are americunts so stupid and insecure
>>80803337Interestingly enough, the most annoying kid in the theatre I went to (when I didn't watch the movie at a midnight showing) was a little white girl, who would noisily crawl over her family from one side to the other and sit on their laps. Annoying, but also adorable as all hell.
>weeks back>ask homeboy if he wants to go see it>lol no>ask father>u wot m8?>go alone>theater is filled with young adults>great movie, everyone have a good timeWhy the fuck wouldn't they go with me?
>>80804406I could see him doing Fry Everything. Remember Eat It and Fat?
>>80804401I'm not a fan of typecasting but Hollywood needs more kamina typecasting Also > probably something like fennek , small stature with a huge mouth
>>80804399You're just perfect for this fandom.
>>80804491they have standards
>>80804443Bojack S3 When
>>80804482Well that doesn't narrow things down at all.You mentioned drawing characters, human and anthro cartoons. What about backgrounds? Do you have trouble drawing buildings, trees, rocks, water, sky, clouds, do you have issues with perspective, understanding how shadows work, dynamic poses, color theory, different types of clothing and textures, etc.?Be as specific as possible. Name the last ten things or images you wanted to create. Be honest about what areas you need improvement in. Saying "everything" doesn't help, and realizing that you're at a loss is the first step to narrowing down your focus into something manageable that will allow for improvement.
>>80804399Everyone has potential. Just keep going, you'll hit your standard level. If you're content with that standard, you'll be fine.
>>80804554This summer, I think.
>>80804154I say that because I've seen it happen personally. A few people in my college took up art classes only being able to draw stick figure, discovered that they loved making art, and were the center of the college Art Exhibit by 4 years.Natural Talent is a myth. There might be some people here and there who can understand the concepts quicker than others, but it's still all practice. And art has the advantage of being very fluid in its standards and very organic in how people learn it. It can be entirely self-taught if you are dedicated, it's just like lifting weights. If you keep going to the gym you will see results, and if you keep drawing you will see results.
>>80803933I hate how they got rid of Koslov for some Godfather ripoff. That joke was just fucking cringey.
>>80803934I dunno why but I love seeing main characters injured for some reason. Not out of a sense of sadism, I guess it just makes them seem more vulnerable or something.I guess I'm not the only one, one of the reviews for the story I'm doing had the guy say he felt bad for Nick but wanted to see him get hurt.It was kinda wierd
>>80804741>Nick watches Judy sleep, and even took her picture for later
>>80804336From there you can just branch off into finding things that you're interested in and learning how to draw them. From buildings to cars to landscapes. Find the gaps that you feel lacking and build upon your mental database. Not to mention there is an entire universe of how light interacts with objects and color theory to explore as well.A lot of the fantastical bits and pieces in Science Fiction and Fantasy movies are all designed by artists that take different elements and combine them. The animalistic buildings in Zootopia was made from an artist that knew both animal anatomy and architecture.
>>80802174>>80802330>>80803318The only thing I don't regret about being previously associated with the horse fandom is that I no longer give a fuck about buying anything. >>80805004>tfw in the horse fandom for 5 years>still haven't bought a single piece of merch
Went to see this movie with my family last Saturday, my mom really liked it because the characters were animals with human features rather than humans in animal suits that always are seen in movies with animals (like KFP for example)
>>80805004Seriously, give no fucks. I don't get why people have to be all defensive. It only looks weird if you act like it's weird. If you just shrug it off, so will others. >>80805089>only pieces of merch are a plush I ordered from 4De with army money and a tiny fig given by a friendOh, and for my 21st a couple of friends bought me a pony-themed lunchbox. >>80805151I want to rub my nose on Nick's belly.
>>80805151WutThe storyboard guys did lewds? Why? Pretty sure that wasent going by to make it into the movie , for fun mabey?I'm curious now
>>80805225Judy is 24. An age gap has never mattered in any capacity at all unless one spouse is 60 while the other is 17 or some shit. It's an entirely meaningless thing to bring up, it's about the same as saying Nick has green eyes and Judy has purple eyes. Oh dear God the humanity.
>>80791727Seen the movie 3 times already (lost one of the tix). Prob see it again tomorrow with a friend who has yet to see it.

>>80804014That was my interpretation as well. Nick just wanted to feel like he belonged to something after multiple examples of being ostracized by the general populous >tfw nick implies poverty as a child and it breaks the poor child inside that you once were
>>80805377Average price in western Canada, eh. A bit cheaper on tuesdays (about $8 ?). Last time I went to IMAX in Victoria is was about $22.
>>80805601>neck'sWhat the fuck speech-to-text you've been getting Nick right all day.
>>80805460You won't actually get to be with her just a person inside a costume. Unless there's some secret technology in Disneyland that can allow you to go inside the movies so you can be with the characters.

>>80805551Don't play with me, Anon! ;___; Holy shit, that actually hit me...
>>80805608It's also why Nick didn't deal with it as well as Judy did.As a kid Nick was just as determined to overcome his obstical, but while Judy was rejected by an individual, but have a group of support behind her, Nick was rejected from the group and only had a single person of support for him.It might not seem like much, but to a kid having an entire peer group reject you is a huge deal. After that it was just a matter of the world reinforcing how he felt he should have to act.
>>80803933>>80804725The movie would have been even better if they had stayed away from the memeing. It feels a bit too stained with pop culture jokes at times. But at least it didn't have a token-insufferable-Jar-Jar-Binks-character like most Disney movies do. Clawhauser's as bad as it gets.
>>80805640>Implying Disney doesn't secretly have a portal to Zootopia and all the animators/directors/etc are just a front.>Implying Zootopia isn't just Eden where God decided to give animals sentience to see if they'd be more loyal than humanity... And they were.I want to believe...
They should have gone with the original idea of Nick going savage but instead of hurting her he would have protected her as by instinct
>>80805652I'm right there with ya. friendo
>>80805309I've seen it 4 times, I imagine that'll probably be all. Saw it twice in my college town, once with my parents back home with nicer theaters but on the smaller screen, and then once by myself on the bigger screen at that theater.
>>80805484>San DiegoMan, I live in SD and they charge 18.50 for an Imax showing. Wish there were some better theaters around here.
>>80805691That doesn't really work too well with the current draft. I think it makes more sense that they would win through a con anyway rather than a kind of deus ex machina.
>>80805665This is cute.Until you remember his voice.
>>80805640We could have it all and even real anthropomorphic animals, but noooo. The war on drugs was SOOOOOOO much more "important".
Is anyone else mildly paranoid that Disney marketing is really tech-savvy and populates these threads with shills to make it seem like Zootopia is really popular on 4chan?
>>80805733Well anything is better than the half-assed ending we got
>>80805741>She hustled you GOOOOD>You a cop, now. You gonna need one of theseOne of the funniest parts of the movie.
>>80805746Nope, its probably just you.Now go see Zootopia in theaters again and make sure to buy our stuff.
>>80805695That is fanart, right?
>>80805652she will see you in her dreams, when you see her in yours...
>>80805746/v/ please, Disney doesn't need to hype up a Korean imageboard over their furry cartoon.
>>80805746I don't doubt it. Especially on sites like Reddit and Cartoon Brew where there are annoying Disney fans in the comments 24/7.That said I really love this movie despite my disposition to hating Disney as a company and how they win Oscars they don't deserve.
>>80805746I'd wish I was one. I could express my love for this movie and earn something.
>>80805669This. I didn't want to bring it up a second time because I don't want to feel like I'm attention-grabbing. But I had a similar experience in the Boy Scouts. The other kids didn't outright say that they didn't like me, but they did shit behind my back that really messed with me, like putting muddy, wet rocks inside my sleeping bag when I was away from my tent, or waiting for the scoutmaster to get me to be preoccupied with something else before they would sneak off to my backpack and poor the water out of my water bottle (which would get the scoutmaster mad because he would have to share his water with me) or empty my match box of matches.Preeety sure it was things like this in my childhood that may have contributed to me ending up in a job as a security guard where I get to make contact with as few people as necessary.
>>80805746I doubt it, people here like it because 4chan has been a bunch of fucking furries practically since the beginning.Honestly I'm impressed this movie was as good as it is because I've been really disappointed with Disney for the past decade.
I don't understand. Why is it so surprising that a new Disney movie, that isn't even out yet in other countries, are liked and talked by people in a cartoon image board?I admit, I don't know a lot about comics. I've read only a few but I'm not that invested in them. When I visit /co/, I look for threads I can participate and wade through other threads I don't like or don't care. I don't give threads or shows or comics I don't like or don't care the time, so I don't go in them to rant about it. I thought this was the same with everyone.Whenever I look for a Zootopia thread, I usually only see two or three, and one or two are usually at the bottom of the catalog. They're not as many as some people make it out to be.
>>80805014Do you think sheeple count their wool as pants?
>>80805929I like it because I like it, and because I'm a big 2DR fan.
>>80805947I'm a pretty non-casual comic fan *and* cartoon fan and I don't mind 2/3 threads at all. Considering there are usually 10-20+ live-action cape threads (DCCW, DCEU, MCU, Goth, Sg, FoXmen) active at any one time.
>>80805929>Honestly I'm impressed this movie was as good as it is because I've been really disappointed with Disney for the past decade. It's simply because it was a movie a bunch of talented artists wanted to make for years and Disney signed it without changing a thing expecting it to be a low tier movie with a minimal cult following. If Disney knew it'd such a hit, they would have meddled with it.
Hey its first time drawfag from yesterday, today i added Nick
>>80806106Cute. Nice work, Scribbles.

>>80806221>>80806262I hope not. Disney isn't that dumb.At least with Zootopia 2. Shows and such might get Disneyed.
>>80806252those are guys, anon.and i hate the collar idea.
>>80806323>lions with no manes
>>80806323Nope, those ones are actually female. Artist lthinks of Finnik as bi rolling in pussy.
the hardest part of drawing is that drawing everyday, trying to balance a bunch of uni classes plus a 3 hour art class is killer. the art class kills motivation for fun drawing too.
>>80806210All my files are at least 01. Just in case I come across another one that deserves the same name. Doesn't mean there's anything more than 01.
>>80806390>>80806400I like all this Wilde Times art, but one mistake the artists seem to make a lot is that they sure Nick removing predators' collars. He only had the ability to temporarily disable them, and that's why it was a big deal when Judy finally removed his.
you rike fox, ye?
>>80806485in one sense it can make some sense.Nick can remove other peoples collars, but because of how it's done, he can't do it to his own.In order to keep the whole thing a secret the predators have to put the collars back on when they leave, other wise, well, everyone will know what's up.
>>80806530>That JudyDid they even try?
