So how long until Disney eventually milks and overexposes the success of Zootopia and it becomes cool to hate it and /co/ swears it NEVER liked it?
but frozen was always shit
>>80717266Let it be known that i, anon has hated that fur bait shit since day 1. Fuck you.
>>80717471Dude you're too cool.
Tumblr hates Zootopia because it's too racist/pol/ hates Zootopia because it's too anti-racistSince there's no middle ground I conclude that /co/ already hates Zootopia, all threads praising it notwithstanding
>>80717946>Tumblr hates Zootopia because it's too racistWhat? 90% of fanart, porn or otherwise, comes from Tumblr.Stop reading shitty SJW blogs and thinking that's the entire website.
>>80718026Jesus Tumblr fuck of already. Learn to take criticism for once in your worthless lesbian life.
>>80718026oh have we stopped referring to shitty SJW blogs as "Tumblr" regardless of what blog service they use? sorry, I didn't get the memo.
I'm fine with them using Zootopia as another Animal Kingdom expansion or attraction. There's a huge empty space next to the Rafiki's Planet Watch that'd be great for itFrozen burned through my goodwill when they started shoving it almost everywhere in the parks and shoehorned it into Epcot.
>>80718260And what makes you think they won't here?
>>80717946>tumblr hates zootopia because it's racistexamples?
>>80717266/co/ always did hate it, we've just been flooded with furries from /trash/ and tumblreddit
>>80717266I laughed harder at this picture than I should have.
zootopia is the reddit of moviesprove me wrongyou can't
>>80718420Where are the Asian girls from? Is it from that Cabin in the Woods movie?
>>80718415/trash/ hasn't even existed for a year. There's nobody who you can call "from /trash/" yet. The board is just furries who were already using 4chan.
I cans still appreciate Zootopia for being a good movie even if I get sick of it. I grew tired of Finding Nemo years ago, still thought it was the better movie when Frozen was new.
>>80717266When /zoo/ becomes as bad as the Frozen generals.
>>80718316Animal Kingdom needs more guest draws as they expand their hours into the evening. And the Studios has gone into full Star Wars mode for all their new entertainment stuff during the construction.
>>80718405I saw one post being angry that Zootopia was glorifying police officers and spinning a message about how police are necessary for the world to function
>>80717471>it becomes cool to hate it and /co/ swears it NEVER liked it?>Let it be known that i, anon has hated that fur bait shit since day 1.Now, apparently.
>You can't just sing a song about overcoming your problems and everything becomes better.>So just let it go!
>>80718441>zootopia is the reddit of movieswhat does that even mean?
>>80719150Police are necessary. They are just easy to corrupt like most government jobs involving power.
>>80717266I hated it before it was cool.
What pisses me off about Zootopia is that it's only average at best and yet people are treating it as if it's something amazing That and people going to watch it in droves like sheep while almost compeltely ignoring the superior children's film that's playing at the Theater I work at.The little prince is average during the cgi parts but has actual artistic merit when it plays the papercraft sections which is more then Zootopia ever had going for it.
>>80720370Because those people view it as something amazing, just like you see it as average. It's almost as if people have different opinions.
>>80720245PROVE ME WRONG
Why are Zootopia threads allowed on /co/? I mean, it is furry, after all.
>>80718441That's Deadpool anon.
>>80720370>The little princeLmaoooo
>>80717266Even Doug Walker was eh about the movie and felt the theme was being beaten over your head too much. This is gonna make furries more accepted in society now.
>>80720770>>80720770It's not furry, it's the latest Disney movie with anthropomorphic animals. If you're going to start banning anthro, you also have to ban all talk of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Bugs Bunny & Looney Tunes, Kung Fu Panda, Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Gumball, Ren & Stimpy, Tom & Jerry, a whole lot of Disney movies, TMNT, And so on and so on.A lot of western animation features talking animals acting like humans. It's at the core of the western animated tradition, since the early days of Felix the Cat and Mickey Mouse.
The evil is defeated, by a greater evil.
>>80720370Did you say like sheep?
>>80721107So then why can't we suggest Disney anthro stuff in drawfriend threads?
Zootopia is the Undertale of movies
>>80719010/zoo/ already hit that point three weeks before the movie premiered.
>>80721228I am pretty sure you can, unless it's porn.
>>80721233There's a /zoo/?
>>80721262Nope. Tried last night; post got deleted, I got a warning. Didn't request lewds at all, either.
>>80721394I got a Bellwether from a draw thread
>>80721394maybe you should try not being a fucking tripfag then.
>>80721922I could, but I doubt it'd help.
>>80721942It would make you look like less of an asshole
>>80717266>princess movies vs furry movieshmmmmm...
>>80722154Are furry princess movies the next step?
>>80721394A mod came in the other day and deleted zootopia threads too.Just ignore them. The fact that it's the most successful cartoon ever and it only makes them more butthurt is icing on the cake.
>>80721958Nothing can do that.
>>80722815we already have the perfect picture for it too.
>>80717266I watched cabin in the wood's yesterdaybest scene in the movie
>>80721232Undertale wasn't that bad, imo.I can see why /v/ hated all the praise it was getting because it doesn't do too many new or creative things (other than having bullet hell sequences in an RPG, I can't think of anything else), but it's a solid story that I was greatly satisfied with.
>>80717471>I hated Zootopia before everyone elseFucking hipsters.
>>80717946What? Tumblr loves the movie. They hated Frozen, hence the OP image.
Until people who didn't want to see it in cinemas get around to watching it.So basically until a good rip comes out.
>>80722660that already happened but it wasn't so popular
Neither movie's success will get Wreck it Ralph 2 made faster so fuck both of them.
>>80723044They loved Frozen at first too, but then when Disney realised they had an accidental cashcow in their hands and turned on the big gear with merchandising, and people started to get sick of Frozen being shoved in their faces, they suddenly found a lot of things supposedly "problematic" with it
Give it a few months. Might take a bit longer if the threads dont get out of control.
>>80717266Everything is better than Frozen; I'm happy to see it finally fucking dying. I'd also like to see cute kids in bunny suits now during Haloween.
>>80721232That would be praise you meme-opinion doff.
Frozen wasn't good though
>>80717266Zootopia doesn't have any catchy songs in it, so I don't think the internet will hate it like Frozen
>>80723435>when they realised they had an accidental cashcow in their hands and turned on the big gear with merchandisingmention a single company who don't milking their popular franchisesyou can't
>>80724472Nintendo, they just don't care about a lot of their franchises outside of Mario/Pokemon/Zelda. There's a criminal lack of merch for some of them.

>>807250644chan didn't like Deadpool?
>>80725140>4chan didn't like Deadpool?Whether or not we like it or not, it doesn't mean it isn't "reddit the movie".
>>80723015/v/ loved it back when the demo came out, but now it's too popular so that means it's not good anymore
>>80724934Eh, I like it because it reminds me of the movie, but I don't think it stands up that well on its own.
>>80721232It's that good, huh?
>>80723435Well, sort of. There was a "boycott" post that went around before the movie came out because whatever dumbfuck tumblry reason/muh sameface/oh no white people!. Then the movie came out, people softened on it a bit before going full blown ott hate like a day later because of another crazy post documenting everything "problematic" in the film.
>>80717333This. It was so generic and uninspired that the song was the only thing they focused on in the promotional material.
>>80725260>reddit the movieBut honestly, what does that even mean?
>>80717266/co/ likes Zootopia? I haven't seen it yet but it looks like a really safe movie and nothing to rave over despite the reviews. I'm sure it has some good jokes(government workers as sloths is funny) but overall I expect a standard acceptance message and nothing too interesting.I could've watched this but no way I was missing out on Kung Fu Panda 3 for some more Disney shit after Frozen and BH6
>>80725588>>80717333These guys get it. Frozen is a mediocre film, AT BEST. The move was in such a hurry to check off all of the hallmark Disney 'moments' that it completely neglected structure, pacing, and depth of character.
>>80725704So any media that has ideas is "reddit the movie"?
>>80725702That's about how I felt before seeing it too. Give it a look, you might be pleasantly surprised.
>>80725702>overall I expect a standard acceptance messageIt's a lot more nuanced than that.
>>80717266It's an 'lol look at these animals acting like people' movie. It's Madagascar with a higher budget. The sooner the better.
>>80725875>>80725807I might actually watch this film now.

>>807184414chan is the reddit of the internetprove me wrong
>>80724934Try Everything is a catchy song but it's not going to be at the levels that Let it Go was because it's a very all-inclusive song for all ages and it can't be misconstrued as a female empowerment song or something little girls would want to pretend to be like a character in the movie (Elsa) for
>>80725756Does anybody even remember Kristoff?>>80725958Not those guys. I was going into it expecting just a silly comedy with nothing but animal jokes. Instead I got a great pair, literally no bad characters, a lot of funny moments and a cool message that's really well ingrained without being in your face
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XQcrzBD5AA>Dat fucking line
Zootopia wasn't popular for a single fucking song tho, that by the way, is worse than everything /co/ would hate, including MLP itselfI cannot believe Im calling MLP better than Frozen, but its true
Man, if theres one thing I've learned from writing my first fic is be sure to outline EVERYTHING before you start. I outlined there to be a flashback, but I didn't outline what would happen in said flashback just what it meant for the present, and now I'm kinda stuck.I also will probably have to go back to an earlier chapter to edit it slightly to make it work better with what I might do.So yeah, its been a learning experience at least.
>>80729501>You've already seen DeadpoolOkay, that made me chuckle. But>Showing Nick in police uniformWhy would they do that?

>>80731060>predsThey already got to him... The only thing we can do now is nuke Disney from orbit.>>80731099>"I didn't go see the movie, so I can't say I ever liked it">That's an assumptionOh I'm sorry, so you do want me to judge the movie before I see it, okay. >The movie promotes incest with animals. There, ya happy now?
>>80731198I think the assumption is within the furfag comment. Unless you'd like to qualify the specificity of what you meant by the term in this context.
>People keep talking about how much more amazing the shock-collar Nick version of Zootpia would've been compared to what we got>To the point people are making conspiracy theory esq posts that Disney got bought out by the republican party or some shitPeople: the reason they abandoned the shock collar plot was because they realized that if Zootopia was literally controlling predators to such an extent that they were physically harming them for acting out then that'd give Nick and the Audience no reason to want to see the city or its inhabitants survive or be rescued. It'd have been a bit darker yes (I say a bit, we all know the shock-collar would've just been used as a sight gag for most of the movie and only really brought up in any serious capacity near the climax) but it also would've put our hero in a position where he's a victim of an oppressive establishment trying to save said establishment because...?It's clear they couldn't answer that 'because' with any real good answer so they modified the film's premise to compensate and honestly I doubt we lost much in that regard. Now what we DID lose? Sheep conspiracy theorist. THAT was an element sorely missing from this movie.
>>80731245>>80731099Yeah. It was the furfag comment.
>>80731262I don't believe it would have been much more amazing than the version we got. I just want to see it too.To be blunt I wanted both versions to come out at the same time as impossible as that it.
>>80731262I feel they could have benefited from at least giving Nick a collar rather than just blackmailing him with some random recording. Shock collars instead of handcuffs because they are animals.
>>80731262I honestly think we might have lost something that COULD BE special with the original plotline. But I do think they made the right decision because as it was, it wasn't going to work, and some of the changes that would need to be made would not work really as the kid's movie they were trying to make it.It might have worked for a more mature audience with some tweaking, but they really did make the right decision to rewrite it.I'm just sad because there really were neat ideas in there and I'm a bit of a sucker for stories where things suck until the heroes earn their happy endings. And that clip of Nick after getting out of his collar was pretty great
>>80731440Giving him a collar makes it official.Judy was blackmailing him because the idea was if he does what she asks, nothing official comes of what shes got against him.
Does Zootopia have a hockey league?
>>80731245I probably should have specified that it looks like one but this: >https://twitter.com/dannyanimator/status/704724212406026240 kind of tells me it's targeted towards furfags.
>>80731473it's not official until she books him. He'd just walk around with a collar that she can activate until they solve the case. Maybe the sheep would end up with the control near the end.
>>80730906I do, very much so, Anon. Thank you.
Prison can be hard for a sloth. I suggest you kill yourself.
>>80731510Well, it's a movie with cute talking animals made by Disney. It's definitely going to appeal to a lot of furries out there. But that's a lot different than being made for them, no matter how much they may have wanted to believe that initially.
>>80731527That would require her to requisition the collar though. And she doesn't have access to police resources
>>80731262I'd say it still could have worked less in the sense of "Every Predator has to wear a shock collar" and more "If a Predator has ANY criminal record, they get Shock Collar"Retool Nick's backstory into rather than his squad mates just fucking with him and more that as kids he and his squad get into some kind of mischief and while all the others get a talking too/some light community service, he gets the fucking shock collar because of a ZERO TOLERANCE rule.So that's what disillusions him in the end because once he gets the shock collar all the kids who were in his squad start distancing themselves from him because they realize "he's different" His motivation stills works. "If they're going to slap a shock collar on me, then I'll prove those fuckers just how right they are" It'd work more to parallel the kind of "placebo" fixes that are made and supposed to prove how far we've come as a society. Predators have to not fuck up even once otherwise they get a fucking brand to tell everyone they can't be trusted. You get the stigma of "He must have done SOMETHING to get that collar" so people distrust you. Even if it's something as minor as toilet papering a house.
>>80731635she had handcuffs, thoughI think she used them on the jaguar
>that fit bodyI dont know how much I want this before
>>80731655Ultimately, it ends up making Nick look much more violent and mean with that kind of backstory and plot.
>>80731795tfw you just realized she's fully clothes on the left, her clothes are just the same shade of grey as her fur
>>80731579I did a quick google search to see if "Daniel Gonzales" worked on it, and I have this interview that says he's an animator for Disney(presumably worked on the movie).https://www.animdesk.com/daniel-gonzales-character-animatorSo if an animator saying 'Send me pics if you in costume' isn't at least trying to appeal to furries, then I wouldn't want to imagine what appealing to furries looks like to you.
>>80731655Anon you haven't changed Zootopia at all or make it more likable or real.It still reads like a totalitarian government where a minority of the population are scapegoated and de(pardon the phrasing)humanized you just added on an extra layer of political "BUT ONLY IF THEY DO BAD THINGS (which can be anything we don't like)" which is just gonna make the audience even more hostile to this society's unfairness. The core issue is still there you're just putting a bandaid on it and acting like that fixes it.
>>80717946>Tumblr hates Zootopia because it's too racistExamples? I don't get how this movie, all about not being racist, could be considered racist. And I couldn't find anything searching Tumblr myself.
>>80731869Holy shit man! It was a sfw pic
>>80731875Likable, I'll give you.Real? No, that's far more realistic. It parallels how the laws did treat people differently based on race in the past. How people can preach pretty America is the land of free and equal opportunity while the Jim Crow laws were in effect. If a flawed Zootopia isn't worth saving, than real life really isn't either. Shock Collars just serve as a physical representation of invisible ones people had in the past, Where they had to make sure they gave up their seat on the bus or face a ZAP.
>>80732109Furthermore, it could lead to a neat scene where Judy realizes that the system itself needs to be fixed from her time as a meter maid.During the first half the movie you can have her get in a confrontation with some predator over a Parking Ticket, where she ends up sending him to the station for "causing a disturbance"Que whenever she has her blowout with Nick at the end or start of the 3rd act and while she's contemplating she she's the guy she gave the ticket too. Except now he's got a fucking collar around his neck and it hits her square in the jaw just how fucked the system is because she basically marked a guy for life over him getting upset at a ticket.
Vivzie is drawing some zootopia fanart on picarto
>>80732109The problem is that you're turning a cultural barrier into an official government sanctioned barrier. The difference is subtle but it creates a dissonance where an audience, even ones who've experienced racism and empathize with it, are forced to recontextualize it. It's no longer "this extremist faction that people ignore will beat you up if you step out of line" it's "the government is now going big brother on you" which is a slightly different flavor of oppression than American racism and it codes the issue as a strictly black and white one unlike the more sordid messy affair racism continues to be in America."Why is this society flawed?""Well this shock collar is meant to represent all the faults in this society!""And who gives them out?""The government.""Then the government are the bad guys. The city's a complete dystopia."

"Then the people are the bad guys who are ruining the city" "Is defeating/killing all the people practical or realistic?""No.""Then the only way to change the city is to change the people"If Zootopia is a dystopia that can't be salvaged in the original draft, then that means Predators and Prey living together can't be salvaged. The point being is making progress is the only way to survive.
Foxes are the best.Nick is the best.

>>80732876>TFW Gideon's gay lover is the one to encourage his baking skills
>>80732577Yes. Killing all those people animals would've been infeasible. That doesn't mean we wanna be invested in their lives if things do turn tragic for them or we even really wanna continue following this story or even wanna really admire the protagonists for sticking with it. It'd go from being "dark" to being straight up depressing. Zootopia being "The Wire" with furry animal people might make for a good joke but I don't even think a Don Bluth style of movie could've made it work because any attempt at changing the system would've made the experience feel hollow. Like our characters are trying really hard for something that doesn't really deserve it.That's true for the real world (in a completely nihilistic sense) but then this sort of plays into my next points:1: The predator/prey analogue should not mirror or represent any ACTUAL race issues in the real world. It's fine to evoke the idea of prejudice but it shouldn't be Cats Don't Dance level of "the animals are clearly meant to be minorities trying to get a job in Hollywood".2: The shock collars would turn the Film's current tackling of predator/prey relations (from an underlying issue regarding aggression, fear, majorities vs minorities, etc) from a fairly subtle matter into an overt issue regarding how they see one another. It's taking the issue to the extreme and as such an extreme solution would need to be inferred since this is a movie with cinematic beats and as you said, an extreme solution would be unfeasible.BASICALLY: The movie would still suffer from the protagonists having to ultimately side with a society that hurt them to which the only answer is "Well... you gotta cause real world's just a shit heap kids!"

>>80732871Your thinking is naive pessimism that doesn't get anything doneThe Government only remains in power so long as the majority of the people aren't willing to die to change it.It's where a lot of people give up and why fucked up shit is still part of the laws. Because the majority of people aren't willing to risk their lives and happiness to change it. >>80732927I think it's a fundamental difference in our views. I feel it's more "you gotta try and change the world, because no one else will if you don't. Even if it's one person at a time. You gotta make progress" But I also a sicko who equally enjoys watching people succeed or fail in the face of adversity, the higher they rise or fall the better for me.

>>80732797Fuck you, I laughed.
>>80733094youtube link fuck ass
>>80732871Also this guy's right. It's more like"Who elects the government?""A select few who achieve this through gerrymandering, discouraging minorities and youth from voting, accepting billions of dollars in corporate funds to advertise themselves, a controlled media network designed to keep the populace stupid and ignorant of any view they disapprove of, making sure voting days occur on work days so as to prevent citizens forced to work for a living (hint hint usually people below the poverty line) do not go out on those days. Really impressive how you can create the perfect supporter while simultaneously blocking the ones who'd see your power taken from you from having any real ability to move against you."

I still can't believe people don't get Gideon. He was a dumb fucking asshole kid who grew up and stopped being a little shit because he grew up.
>>80733368Part of him growing up was getting past his self doubts regarding his sexuality
>>80733103>Your thinking is naive pessimism that doesn't get anything doneAn acknowledgement of reality, of the influence of money on politics, and the reality of media feeding into people's biases, media presenting convenient facts to push people into certain camps, gerrymandering, the list goes on and on.There is a whole slew of systems that make that idea a joke.Especially since, at it's core, if you'll remember, America is not a democracy, it's a republic.People don't choose candidates, parties do with delegate systems.Often, it's the same, but there's a lot of ways they can twist and push out and bait and switch with a candidate that's good for the party and not for the people.
>>80733103>they will never release the real Zootopianow that im thinking about it, why live
>>80732714Let me answer that with another question.Do you know what the Hawaiians used to say?

>>80733563>Do you know what the Hawaiians used to say?yes.yes I do.
>>80733563Time for a hawaiian dicking?
>>80733368It's fun to think he's gay though. His "self doubt" could have meant a lot of things and his sexuality is definitely one of them. Google up pie baking companies and you'll hardly find logos that are as pink and/or girly as Gideon's. In fact, pink is hardly used. But this doesn't mean he's automatically gay, just that there's reason to suspect.
>>80732352Kek>>80732406I need more Zootopia/Undertale crossovers
>>80733752We really don't need the autism that cones with Undertale merging with autism from here, man. Go check out /utg/ over on /vg/ and you'll have a very rapid change of mind.

>>80733697The point I'm making is that a lot of time kids don't realize just how bad they're actingThis is coming from a guy who was bigger than most during 2nd Grade and only realized he was acting like a bully because someone called him one when he thought we were just playing around. An angle played up not enough is that a lot of kids don't realize just how bad they're being and aren't inherently little monsters because they're bad, but because they don't they fail to comprehend how their actions make other feel. Since they're can't put together that maybe they're acting the way they are because their parents are currently dealing with one of them recovering from alcoholism and the painful process where even though they're trying to get better, you're scared shitless because you've basically been told you can't tell anyone about it and if you do it'll be big big big trouble
>>80733368This.Some kids are just absolute shits. Especially middle-school age (9-13)
>>80733864Wow bro, maybe see a therapist or something. We're just goofing with some fun what if scenarios, not sharing times our weird uncle touched us in the no-no zone or whatever.
>>80733823I understand that /utg/ is autistic as fuck but I just like Zootopia and Undertale. Is it wrong that I want to see them together?>>80733853There's plenty of potential for sure. I always imagined the badger doctor as Alphys and Gazelle as Mettaton but I see where you're coming from
>>80734034Ah yeah, too much information but I'm just pointing out how Gideon being a little shit can stem from more sources than just "He's gay" Kids tend to cope with bad shit in their lives by lashing out and tend to not realize they're lashing out
>>80734051>I just like Undertale. Is it wrong?Yes, it is.Undertale was shit and Zootopia shouldn't be tainted with something so terrible.
Did anyone else find it kind of hard to believe that they couldn't connect the night howlers to being the cause?Judy names them earlier and gideon knows their common name. She has a fucking smart phone she couldn't just google night howler? If prey outnumber predators how do they not know about a plant that causes temporary insanity?

I love this gif, the expressions are so well made
>movie was originally about nick and the dangers of a dystopian society that enslaved predators>becomes a left-wing agenda-pushing mess about how every animal (race) is equal even though there are CLEAR DIFFERENCES because a rabbit would never be able to take on half the predators ever due to size and strength difference
>>80733864That sounds terrible, but it's a good and unique insight into the mind of a bully. I actually bullied a kid too. It was funny at first: the kid was awkward and annoying, low hanging fruit for anyone wanting to express a little bit of cruelty. It took me a moment and a look from a teacher to realize I was being awful and then a complete 180. And I came from an ideal household, bullying happens and your right, a lot of kids don't know they are bullies.
>>80734158Could be a carnivore thing. Otterton, Weaselton and Gideon know them as nighthowlers but Judy's family and Bogo don't call them that.
>>80734366>becomes a left-wing agenda-pushing mess about how every animal (race) is equal even though there are CLEAR DIFFERENCES because a rabbit would never be able to take on half the predators ever due to size and strength differenceSomeone didn't see the movie.
>>80734366She would if she had a gun genius
>>80734158>She has a fucking smart phone she couldn't just google night howler? She tought that the "night howlers" where the wolves anon, did you watch the movie?
>>80734337>wanting to turn your new home into a copy of the place you became a refugee from
>>80734158Perhaps the scientists were looking in all the wrong places. They may not have considered night howlers because they didn't think that a bunch of people would suddenly go around eating them.
>>80734358This movie has plenty of great reaction material. I guess that's just what happens when so much work goes into every second of animation.
>>80734157Personally i think undertale was above average, but suffered from the same fanbase thing that made homestuck and the multicolored equine program so insuferable. Zootopia was definetly a good movie, being disney (wich means another movie will eventually take its spotlight) and having no songs prevents it from going into those levels of fandom,
did they ever say how much it cost to make? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
>>80734366It's not about equality, Judy states that we have our own limitations at the end. Also the dystopia would have been more heavy handed "left-wing agenda pushing."
>>80734366>a rabbit would never be able to take on half the predators ever due to size and strength differenceSomeone didn't remember the basics of CQC.

>>80734693One thing I loved was how much detail they put into the play at the beginning.Even though you naturally watch Judy since shes the one talking, if you watch the ohter two kids, they are fully animated as well and doing small things.>The kid on the left at one point slightly jumps when he remembers hes supposed to do something>As the changing boxes come down, he waves to someone in the crowd then gets hit on the head by the box>Hes looking at his feet shuffling to get into place at one partJust all the small details really are great

>>80735041I just now noticed that they're agreeing to share a water source.Didn't one of the directors/animators say something about their crew trip to Africa and how predators and prey would share water sources without conflict?
I know Nick and Judy are both adults, but I have a hard time seeing them as such for some reason. Is it because they're so cute and soft? Is it because they're little? Their big round eyes? I really don't know.
>>80735193>>80735214obsession isn't healthy, anon
>>80735151Nice catch. In The Jungle Book (and some of the animated adaptations, including the Soviet one, but not the Disney one, but possibly the upcoming live action one) there's a "water truce" in which all killing is forbidden in times of drought, which I thought was pretty cool. But the reality - that predator and prey will pretty much brush up right against each other, until someone gets hungry - is even cooler.
>>80733752I like Zootopia like anyone else, but fuck you for trying to mix in that garbage game. Why Undertalefags have to shove in their shitty game into everything?
>>80735718The same reason other people make crossovers of things they like. You realize that other people are going to have the same exact aversion to Zootopia characters being crossed over with random properties. >>80735811>don't raise a fuss about it, bro, just ignore it!>don't talk about or in any way question your threads getting turned into circlejerking drawfags and namefags, just ignore it!>just close your eyes and it'll all be over soon, just let the garbage win, just let us in and don't say anything about it so we can run your fandom into the ground with our disgusting crossover art and extremely niche fetish fanfics, here read this one about sans having a vomit into Judy's rabbit hole, isn't it so hot?

Shit, in my expirience people that have a vague notion of furries think its either kids wearing cat ears, people dressed in costumes, or those characters with cat ears. Furries are a pretty small and insignificant group. Anthropomorphic animals date back to like fucking centuries back bro it isn't something a group of nobodies invented

>>80737764There comes a point where you can't blame youthful foolishness and have to admit you dun fucked up somewhere, like if you're a 38 year old man who's been wearing a fursuit to conventions for 10 years. If you were a brony for a year then maybe you can chock it up to youthful foolishness, although it depends on how old you were at the time.

>>80737816It's possible but I like the idea of Nick and Judy adopting a fox. Especially if when they first meet him he does something shifty like stealing Nick's wallet. Nick is pissed off but at the same time likes the kid because he reminds him of himself when he was young.
>>80717266>Zootopia beats frozen but not minionsCall me when that happens(which is never)
>>80737629Is cheating acceptable? Just magically have them holding stuff like normal via video-game physics, just like in late 90's computer graphics.
>>80737817The only way they can ever get anything done is by using both hooves. They cannot plausibly hold anything otherwise.Hell if I were an equine in that universe I'd probably want prosthetic hands because that's the only way you'd be able to get by.
>>80737857That would be thematic I suppose. Though I think making the kid do that while as another species would be less on the nose. But a fox would be fine
>>80737817maybe they evolved that sticky hold spiders have

It's a buddy cop movie with two protagonists who have actual chemistry, and people have already compared it to Crash. The Little Prince is a beloved classic book, but the fact that most people on /co/ already know the story and accept it as being what it is means it isn't getting discussed here.
>>80738485I didn't know it was that fast. Was under the impression it only had archived threads. Thanks, senpai.
>>80738532Stop giving them reasons desu senpai

>>80738692I don't understand the intended message of your reply, though I appreciate the otter pic.
>>80738620>no cougar cougar to aggressively hit on you
>>80732797Someone plz stop this man.
>>80737053>that based Walrus gentleman>that fucking brown Owlbear horned thing that actually looks like a great Halloween mask
>>80725776I think the idea is that a movie with lots of memes that panders to Reddit's demographic is a reddit movie. Deadpool is all over that, whether or not it was good.
>>80720370I watched it, it was definitely unique but I found Zootopia much more enjoyable and rewatchable
>>80738620>Bobby CatmullIs there a pun in there I'm not getting?
>>80734366The animals we see in this movie don't work like the animals in real life. You have a bunny kicking the shit out of a rhino but being terrified of a ram.
>>80738861Ah. Well fuck me, then.
>>80720245>what does that even mean?>2016>Thinking that anything means anything anymore
>>80737425Yes but the point is most people aren't going to think you're a furry because they aren't familiar with that particular subculture or share your paranoid hatred of it. They will go "huh some guy" and ignore you unless you draw their attention.
>>80738751Back in...the other place... whenever a janitor/mod would come arond and start deleting stuff, we'd refer to that as a tornado warning and we buckle down in a tornado shelter until it passed over.
>>80720042We need more Pacific Rim crossiver art with Zootopia
>>80738620I like to imagine that he's Michael Giacchino's fursona.
>>80733752Ms. Bellwether, I'm ZPD
>>80720370It's because people in the US have such low expectations for animation when it comes to plot and handling mature themes. It's a Disney feature animation, and people are still expecting animation to be kiddie stuff, you know "aren't you too old to still like animation", and now when Zootopia actually made an effort at being a bit more mature and tackling bigger themes (while still being kid-friendly) people are all amazed, like oh my god it's the best movie ever. It's not that it's amazing as a movie, it's amazing compared with what people expected from a Disney animation.(I think it's still a good movie though)
What if Nick and Judy adopted a silver fox pup, and then because of his coloring, a lot of people who saw their family together would get confused and wonder "how did that fox get a rabbit pregnant?"
>>80738359Some janitor is highly pissed that a /co/ movie resembles something they personally detest, I guess
>>80739318the aliens are stealing genetic material from Zootopia to create kaiju.
>>80737887Zootopia already has the biggest worldwide opening weekend gross for an animation ever.Whereas if you're talking of total worldwide gross, Frozen still reigns supreme.
>>80739447Hard to believe it took 7 years for an animated movie to have a bigger opening than Ice Age 3, of all movies...
>>80738533Why the fuck was it deleted?
>>80737563I have never heard of Bad Dragon before I went into Zootopia threads. I'd say that's pretty niche, and thankfully the general public isn't aware of furries
>>80739418>aliens are stealing genetic material from ZootopiaSounds interesting
>>80739516not in a sex way, in an abduction and murder way.
>>80717266>The evil is defeated. You realize you're trading a movie about light lesbian undertones for a fucking furry pride parade right?
>>80739487Yeah and I don't even remember the first two even being good enough to warrant these numbers on the third's opening night
